In this episode, we explore Ephesians 6 and what it means to face spiritual battles with God’s strength. We break down each piece of the Armor of God—truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and God’s Word and talk about how they equip us to stand firm in everyday life. We also highlight the power of prayer as the source that strengthens and activates all the armor. This episode is a reminder that God has already given us everything we need to stand strong.
Today we kick things off with a fun debate: When is it too early to put up Christmas decorations? Is Halloween night already pushing it? From there, we dive into the fast-paced rush of the holiday season and how the busyness of life in general can make us feel like we’re constantly running. In this episode, we explore what it means to stay grounded in our faith during those hectic seasons and how we can remain centered, steady, and intentional no matter how fast life moves. Most importantly, we talk about how Jesus anchors us when everything else feels overwhelming how His peace steadies our hearts, His presence guides our steps, and His strength carries us through every season, no matter how chaotic it may be.
In today’s episode, we explore the practical, everyday relationships that Paul highlights in Ephesians 6. We unpack what it means for children to honor their parents and why this ancient command still carries a promise of blessing. We also look at Paul’s challenge to parents especially fathers to guide their children with patience, encouragement, and spiritual wisdom. Then we dive into the dynamics between servants and masters, discussing how Paul reframes work itself as an act of serving Christ with sincerity and integrity. Throughout the episode, we consider how these teachings shape a healthy Christian work ethic and transform the way we treat the people in our homes and workplaces.
Today’s episode kicks off with some fun as we talk about our favorite Thanksgiving meals but we quickly shift into a powerful conversation: How do we marry masculinity and Christianity? We dig into why so many men hesitate to come to church or take steps in their faith, and we explore what it really looks like to follow Christ with strength, courage, and authenticity. You’ll hear real stories from men who have stepped out boldly, embraced their spiritual calling, and continue pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus every single day.
In this episode, we dive into Ephesians 5:22–33, one of the most powerful and often discussed passages on marriage. Paul lays out a vision for Christ centered relationships, calling wives to walk in respect and partnership, and challenging husbands to love with the same sacrificial, self giving love that Christ has for the church. Together, these teachings paint a picture of marriage as a sacred reflection of the gospel. Join us as we break down what this passage really means, how it applies to modern relationships, and how couples can grow in unity, love, and mutual honor.
In today’s episode, we’re diving into Ephesians 5:1–20 as we take an honest look at our spiritual health. Paul reminds us that as followers of Christ, we are called to imitate God and walk in love, leaving behind the old patterns and habits that no longer reflect who we are in Him. We talk about what it means to take off the things that darken our hearts like selfishness, bitterness, and impurity and to put on the new self that shines with God’s light. We also explore how walking in the Spirit impacts our daily choices, our relationships, and even the way we worship. This passage challenges us to live wisely, make the most of every opportunity, and let our lives be filled with thanksgiving and praise. Join us for a conversation that encourages reflection, renewal, and a deeper walk with Christ.
In this week’s Bible teaching, we’re diving into Ephesians 4:17 as we explore what our “wardrobe” says about us specifically, our spiritual wardrobe. Just like the clothes we wear can reflect who we are, the attitudes and actions we “put on” each day reveal the condition of our hearts. Paul reminds us that as followers of Christ, we are called to take off our old ways and put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
As we reflect on how we display the love of Christ in our daily lives, we also have an opportunity to live out that love in a practical way. This week, we’re launching a food drive to help support families in our community who are affected by the ongoing government shutdown. It’s a chance for us to be the hands and feet of Jesus to not just talk about love, but to show it through our actions.
Today we take a special moment to honor our Lead Pastor, Chad, and show our deep love and appreciation for the incredible ministry he has devoted his life to. Pastor Chad has faithfully followed God’s calling through every season, leading with humility, passion, and a heart for people. In this episode, we hear from his brother, who shares personal stories about Chad’s journey of faith and the impact his obedience has had on others. Pastor Chad also takes time to remind us that when we answer the call God places on our hearts, it can truly change the course of our lives and the lives of those around us.
In this episode, we dive into Ephesians 4:1–16, where Paul challenges believers to live a life worthy of their calling by walking in unity, humility, and love. We’ll talk about how each of us has been given unique gifts by Christ not for ourselves, but to build up the body of Christ. As we unpack this passage, we’ll see how true spiritual maturity comes when the church works together in faith and truth, growing stronger and more connected as one body under Jesus.
In today’s episode, we sit down with a few guys who share powerful testimonies about how small groups have impacted their lives. Through their stories, you’ll hear how community, accountability, and authentic relationships can make a lasting difference in our walk with Christ. Our hope is that this episode encourages you to take that next step and get plugged into a small group where you can grow in faith and connection.
Today, we’re in the book of Ephesians, where Paul writes about the power and purpose of prayer. Even as he pens this letter from a prison cell, his faith remains unshaken he continues to trust that God hears and answers his prayers. Paul reminds us that prayer is not just about speaking to God but also listening to Him. In our busy and distracted lives, we can often become hard of hearing to God’s voice, yet we are called to be obedient in prayer and attentive to what He is saying for the health and direction of our lives.
Today we’re focusing on how our favorite scriptures can shape and guide our everyday lives. When life feels confusing, when we forget who we are, or when struggles seem overwhelming, it’s those powerful verses that remind us of God’s truth. The Word of God isn’t just encouragement it’s our foundation, our identity, and our weapon against the attacks of the enemy. In every season, scripture speaks life into us and equips us to stand firm in faith.
Today we see the powerful movement of the Church as Paul reminds the believers in Ephesus that we are all one in Christ. Once, we were separated from God and strangers to His promises, but through the blood of Christ we have been brought near. Jesus tore down the dividing wall between Jew and Gentile, bringing peace and forming one new family in Him. Now, as believers, we are no longer outsiders we are citizens of God’s kingdom, members of His household, and living stones in a holy temple where God Himself dwells by His Spirit.
Today we turn to Ephesians chapter 2 to see how God views our labor. While our salvation is never earned by works, God calls us to live as His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. We don’t boast in what we do, but we labor with humility, giving our whole heart just as Jesus did. And in everything, from our daily tasks to sharing the Good News, we work unto the Lord
Today, we’re in the book of Proverbs, exploring the wisdom Solomon shared with his son. In chapter 7, Solomon paints a vivid picture of a young man who is easily distracted and eventually led into sin by persuasive words and temptations around him. This chapter reminds us of the power of words to shape the direction of our lives either drawing us closer to God or pulling us away. As we study this passage, we’ll consider how Solomon’s wisdom applies to us today and how we can stay focused on Jesus, guarding our hearts and minds from the distractions that lead us off God’s path.
In this episode, we wrap up our series in Acts with Paul’s long-awaited arrival in Rome. But the book doesn’t end the story, it invites us to continue it. Just as the early church carried the gospel into new places, we’re called to look for opportunities in our own lives to share the hope of Jesus.
After surviving the shipwreck, Paul and the others find themselves on the island of Malta. The locals show unusual kindness, building a fire to warm them from the cold and rain. As Paul gathers wood, a viper bites his hand, but he suffers no harm astonishing the islanders, who first think he’s cursed, then decide he must be blessed by God.
It’s a chapter about God’s protection, miraculous healing, and favor, even in unexpected places. Look at your life today, where is your Rome and what is your Malta?
In Acts 27, Paul sets sail for Rome as a prisoner, guarded by a Roman centurion named Julius. Though the journey begins smoothly, Paul warns of danger ahead but his warning is ignored. Soon, a violent storm hits, forcing the crew to throw cargo overboard as the ship drifts aimlessly for two weeks.
Amid the chaos, Paul stands firm in faith, assuring everyone that an angel of God promised their lives would be spared, even if the ship is lost. Eventually, the ship runs aground near Malta and breaks apart but all 276 people survive, just as God said.
When life feels out of control, Acts 27 reminds us that God hasn’t abandoned ship, He’s steering us through.
In Acts 25–26, Paul continues his bold witness for Christ while imprisoned in Caesarea. Governor Festus replaces Felix and is pressured by Jewish leaders to hand Paul over. Instead, Paul appeals to Caesar, exercising his rights as a Roman citizen.
King Agrippa and his sister Bernice visit Festus and are curious about Paul. In chapter 26, Paul gives a powerful testimony sharing his past as a Pharisee, his persecution of Christians, and his life changing encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. He explains his mission to preach repentance to Jews and Gentiles.
Despite being in chains, Paul speaks with boldness and clarity. Festus calls him insane, and Agrippa is nearly persuaded to believe. Paul responds with a heartfelt desire for all to know Christ.
In Acts 24, Paul is put on trial before Governor Felix in Caesarea. The Jewish leaders bring in a slick lawyer named Tertullus, who accuses Paul of being a public menace, stirring up riots, and defiling the temple. Paul calmly defends himself. He explains he came to Jerusalem to worship, not to cause trouble. He admits he follows “the Way,” but says it aligns with Scripture and insists his conscience is clear before God. He also affirms his hope in the resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. Felix, who’s familiar with “the Way,” delays making any decision. He keeps Paul under light custody and even allows friends to visit. Later, Felix and his wife Drusilla hear Paul speak about faith in Christ, righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment. Felix gets uncomfortable and sends Paul away but not for long. He keeps bringing Paul back, hoping for a bribe. Even after two years, Paul stays locked up not for guilt, but because Felix wants to stay on the Jews’ good side. Eventually, a new governor, Festus, takes over.
Paul shows integrity under pressure. He keeps his witness strong, even before corrupt officials. And though justice is delayed, God's purpose keeps moving forward.
