Tonight we are talking about the possible correlation between the death of musician/sound engineer Steve Albini and the events of a recent Simpsons episode "Cremains Of The Day as well as a general discussion as to who Steve Albini was and what we leaned about him.
For our final video before the summer break, we will discuss a 9/11 related topic where our focus will be on the attendants and passengers that were aboard Flight 11 (aka the first plane that was hijacked) and which of the attendants and passengers stood out for us. The anniversary of both his birth and passing are just around the corner, so we hope to have done him justice in the making of this video. Anyway, we will briefly discuss the impact DB had in our music landscape, then we will reflect on our best DB albums as well as songs that mean the most to us. We will also discuss about and listen to a snippet of Bowie's posthumous release, Toy. Plus, Wickid shows us how to use stress balls. The first episode of 2024 deals with a rather sad, but necessary topic we deal with all too well. We talk about the general aspects of bullying as well as give examples of bullying that you may or may not have known about before. One of the most known examples involved the tragic case of 12 year old Shanda Sharer. Granted, it's the most unsettling, but it's one that should serve as a wake up call of how far bullies can go.
