Welcome to REAL. The Unedited Life of a Christian Woman. As a small town girl from Kentucky, I’ve spent much of my life struggling to find work life balance, always wondering if what I’m doing is enough, worried I’m failing in aspects of life. I try to keep it all together with a husband and three kids, balancing family and career, try to get the bills paid, while paying for all the extra curricular activities for the kids. All the while trying to feed the family healthy food, exercise, eat well, not eat out too much, the list goes on and on. Try to provide vacations and memories, but watching the budget and wondering where the money will come from. Trust me - I’ve been there. Whether you are listening while you are cooking, cleaning, driving, working, shopping - I want you to know you are not alone, and that your fears and thoughts, very likely have been some of mine as well.As a wife, mom, Nurse Practitioner, business owner, and someone who has done a lot of yo yoing when it comes to a career, I have a lot to share. Plan to touch on topics related to work-life balance, career, kids, spouse, finances, budgets, planning, vocational ministry (working in the church), health topics, and more. All while trying to be a good Christian woman.Let’s be unafraid to be REAL with one another.
