Stop Looking for the Answers Outside of Yourself | Voice Note Series 004   We are back with Season 3! And starting off strong with a reminder that you have all the answers you need. In a world where we can easily ask the internet or strangers around the world for the blueprint on how to get to where we want or have what we desire, we start to drown the voice of our inner knowing. We forget in a world of overconsumption that often the answers that are truly aligned with us, can all be found within. This is gentle encouragement to quiet the noise and let your inner cheerleader show you the way forward.   We talk about: The trap of consuming over creating Why we look outside ourselves for the path towards our goals Balancing using resources and listening to our inner voice Allowing ourselves to be quiet and listen for the next step Trusting that our path will appear if we keep moving forward   ❤️‍🔥Need more guidance? Alchemize Anger: How You Can Work With The Energy of Rage to Take Big, Aligned Action   This is not an episode for the demure and cutesy. This is for those that feel the pulse of anger underneath the surface, and do not know how to let it out. You have been told most of your life to keep quiet. To stand in line, do as you're told, and never ever raise your voice. But your rage is righteous and deserves to be heard. In this week’s episode, we explore the emotion of anger and how to use its energy to take action and create art that allows us to move through these feelings. We discuss how anger is an emotion of movement and communication, and when left unexpressed, we’re generally left feeling weak, unheard, exhausted, and sick. We also share exercises to express your anger in a healthy way, allow other emotions to rise, and to alchemize all of it into art that feels like an authentic expression of your internal world. If you are seeking a permission slip to rage, look no further.   We talk about: What it feels like when we do not let our anger out How we can channel anger using different forms of art and movement Using art as a way to feel what is hidden underneath the layers of rage Healthy ways to reflect so you can move forward and not carry anger with you   ❤️‍🔥Follow our new SUBSTACK! Your Fans Are Waiting For You to Show Up! Today’s episode is a big dose of WAKE UP because your fans are out there waiting for you to share your artwork! You might be new at your craft but incredibly passionate about it, or perhaps you’re a skilled artisan with piles of finished pieces and a full camera roll with not a single post or publication about your work. Either way, your fears and excuses are keeping you hidden in the shadows where your fans can’t find you… and I’ve had enough of it! In this week’s episode, we address the fears and limiting thoughts like “if I post, haters will tell me I’m terrible” or “I don’t understand technology, so I’ll never be able to have fans”. Buckle up for an episode where we set your excuses on fire, and get ready to take massive action in sharing the work we’re proud of.   We talk about: Why you haven’t been sharing your work Overcoming perfectionism and the comparison trap Being an artist versus a “content creator” Sharing your work and finding your fans isn’t just about social media! Understanding, defining, and refining your message as an artist Sharing with enthusiasm so you can attract fans who are excited to see your work   ✒️ Want to learn calligraphy with me? Get Your Groove Back: How to Start Again After a Slump   In today's episode, we are talking about getting back into your creative flow after taking a break. There will inevitably be times in life when you cannot visit your creative practice daily, or even weekly. But what about months? Or years? What happens when an intentional break turns into a slump: a time when you are not regularly creating, but in your heart you long to do so. During the slump, it can feel like we’re at war with ourselves. You’re constantly cycling through excuses in your head: “it’s been too long”, “I’m no good”, “ I just don’t have it”. By the end of this episode, you will have a better understanding of how you got to this place, what questions to ask yourself to get into action, and how to use the momentum of a practice session to get you back into regularly creating!   We talk about: How to identify if you are “in a slump” What to do once you build awareness around your current state (when you recognize it’s been weeks or months since you practiced) The inner work that will change the way you approach your creative practice Viewing your practice as a self-love ritual, not a chore Committing to nurturing your creative practice How to be intentional about your practice (a sustainable way to make the promise to yourself to create!)   ✒️ Want to learn calligraphy with me?
