"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps..” Proverbs 16:9 So… what if the life you thought you were going to have isn’t the life you’re actually meant to live? For our season finale, we’re getting real about becoming — and all the messy, confusing, exciting, uncomfortable parts that come with it. Because somewhere along the way, we all created a version of ourselves. The career. The relationship. The family. The timeline. The accomplishments. The “by this age, I’ll definitely have…” list. …And then life said, LOL. Absolutely not. 😂 Maybe you’ve outgrown the dream you once prayed for. Maybe you’re grieving a version of yourself you thought you’d become. Maybe you’re standing in the middle of a transition with absolutely no clue what comes next. And honestly? That might be okay. This episode is about letting go of the pressure to know exactly who you’re becoming and learning to embrace the mystery instead. We’re talking about changing your mind, changing your plans, releasing expectations, and giving yourself permission to become someone you didn’t even know you could be. Maybe the goal was never to become who you thought you’d be. Maybe the goal is to become who you actually are. So for the final time this season… Unfollow the blueprint. Unfollow the timeline. Unfollow who you thought you’d be. And make room for whoever is next. Can Christians Have Fun? Pastor Robert White is back! For the second time, we’re welcoming Pastor Robert White to the Unfollow Me! Podcast, and we couldn’t be more excited. His first episode with us was one of our most-listened-to episodes, so naturally, we had to bring him back for another conversation! And this time, we took the conversation outside the studio! This episode was recorded during a live recording session at our Unfollow Me! & Chill Pool Party + Grill. 🏊🏾‍♀️🔥🎙️ So, can Christians actually have fun? Pastor Robert’s response? “Well, what do you mean by fun?” And just like that, we had a conversation. We unpack what fun really means and challenge some of the misconceptions many of us grew up with when it comes to traditional Christianity. From what we were taught was “worldly” or inappropriate to the idea that being a Christian means living a life without enjoyment, we’re having an honest conversation about faith, freedom, and what it really means to enjoy life. Is everything fun automatically sinful? Are Christians supposed to have a different definition of fun? And how much of what we believe about Christianity actually comes from Scripture versus what we were simply taught growing up? Come laugh, question, and unfollow the rules we never thought to question. Unfollow Me! Podcast- where we challenge what we’ve been told, one conversation at a time. High effort vs Low effort family members is what we are discussing this week. In our world today, the dynamics of family operations have really shifted. Now that us millennials are the adults who are most capable of hosting and continuing the tradition of gathering, many have not carried the mantle like they did way back when. On this week’s episode we challenge one another to consider putting our best feet forward when it comes to standing in the gap. Somebody’s gotta do it! Which of these are you when it comes to connecting with family? Where can you improve? Are you the hostess with the mostest? Or do you leave it up to others? This week, we’re giving ourselves permission to pause, breathe, and remember that not everything deserves an immediate reaction. We’ve all felt it—the pressure to respond immediately, solve every problem, answer every text, and jump into someone else’s crisis as if it’s our own. But what if everything doesn’t require urgency? In this episode of Unfollow Me! Podcast, we’re challenging the culture of rushing. From Brittany’s personal goal of embracing despacio (slow down), to learning that productivity doesn’t have to mean panic, we’re exploring how slowing down can actually lead to healthier relationships, better decisions, and more peace. We also discuss why it’s unfair to expect everyone to operate at the same pace and how patience can become one of our greatest strengths. Listen now and join the conversation. You don’t have to rush to live a meaningful life. Support Unfollow Me! by contributing to their tip jar: https://tips.pinecast.com/jar/unfollow-me Find out more at https://unfollow-me.pinecast.co
