You don’t have to choose between being cool or being deep. There’s this myth that if you’re that person who doesn’t give a fuck, you can’t also be thoughtful or intellectual—that you’re either the wild one or the wise one. But in this episode, we break that illusion. Let’s talk about how confidence, edge, and introspection can actually go hand in hand—and why being smart doesn’t make you any less of a badass. It happened... after hustling hard these past months and applying for every audition I was physically able to attend, I won my first audition for an Academy position at the Symphony Orchestra of Münster, Germany. In this episode, I describe what I went through and what I learned from having to constantly travel, get rejected, try it again, advance into the following rounds, and so on. My hunger for more success has increased, and winning this has sparked a deep desire within me to do more auditions. If you are also doing auditions at the moment I hope you find this captivating. This past week, I had a revelation that changed my perception of reality. I left my smartphone at home. Nothing special, right? But then I did it again and again. After three days, something happened. I started to feel peace. I felt free from all negative emotions. I still cannot believe it, but I haven't felt that happy and free since I was 15 years old. Now I'm 27. Gen Z has been imprisoned by the screens, and lost a sense of what reality should feel like. We are not supposed to feel anxious and depressed all the time as we do at the moment. We need to find our way back to being human. And there is a way. Leave your phone at home. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this solo episode I share with you what it's like to spend multiple hours isolated in a practicing room. What it's like to teach 20+ students every week. My upcoming expedition plan to the Amazon forest, and why I started investing in camera gear. Also by the end I touch on a very concerning topic that affects my generation (Gen Z), how smartphones have hijacked our brains and how we are no longer connected to the world. I hope you find this episode captivating. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
