The aim of "The Imitation of Christ" is Christian perfection, to which we should all aspire. Contained within the Imitation is all that conduces to Christian Perfection, like: 1. The method of reaching perfection and its degrees. 2. The means of attaining it. 3. The duties which it imposes. The goal of this podcast is to read the Imitation in 1 year - but *not* cover to cover. Instead, the daily readings have been methodically organized to correspond with and guide the listener through the Three Stages of the Spiritual Life- the Purgative, the Illuminative, and the Unitive.
