Welcome back and buckle up. This season the moms decided to give more real and raw experiences, not realizing they’d be the ones to experience them.   In a raw moment that wasn’t meant to be on camera, Brittainy opens up about the dark side of influencer culture—and what it was really like behind the scenes of Very Cavallari. Spoiler alert: she’s not the same woman who once lived in a reality TV group chat.   We then catch up with the moms in yet another transition period and talk about what life looks like post-4th trimester for Brit, going back to work with babies at home, and how “working mom” is the biggest challenge.   Trigger warning for those who have lost and are listening for the next segment, as Courtney shares her deeply personal experience with miscarriage and the silent grief so many women carry.   It’s honest. It’s raw. It’s a little unhinged. It’s Truth Moms Season 3.   ADS INFO:   | Truly Free | Best Sellers Bundle: https://click.trulyfreehome.com/aff_c?offer_id=374&aff_id=5797&aff_sub=truthmomspod 100 Loads for FREE: https://click.trulyfreehome.com/aff_c?offer_id=328&aff_id=5797&source=truthmomspod Main Site: https://click.trulyfreehome.com/aff_c?offer_id=238&aff_id=5797&aff_sub=truthmomspod CODE: TRUTHMOMS for 20% off!   | MaxGen | 10% OFF ANY TEST https://www.maxgenlabs.com?aff=296 CODE: TRUTHMOMS

On this episode with Instinctual Mothering’s Andrea, the Truth Moms squad explores the history behind predatory formula marketing and the constant maternal pressure around feeding your baby. How does the intricate web of advertising tactics used by formula brands shape parenting choices? Second-guessing comes with motherhood, because let’s face it—it can’t be taught in a book**—**or a pamphlet. We all agree “fed is best,” but where does that term stem from, and what exactly was the original intent behind the message? The moms explore the history of formula and pediatrics, popular formula brands’ war on breastfeeding, why formula milk marketing might actually place more pressure on mothers, and how community—not shame, blame, or any advertising game—can help you make the best choice for your baby. Trust your gut—you’re going to want to tune into this one.
Truth Moms dive deeper into the world of functional medicine with friend and lifestyle coach Sheeva Rouhanifard Stephens, who through her unique root cause and holistic approach to lifestyle health for both body and brain goes beyond conventional methods, and is transforming lives.  The secret sauce to her success is creating personalized care that considers individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle. Her tailored training programs aim at empowering clients with knowledge and tools to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Sheeva explains from her own experience wellness is not a one-size fits all program, no matter what your favorite influencer says.   Instagram: @sheevawellness Sheeva Wellness Website

Episode 9 | We're Back Baby

2025-03-1201:23:07

Spring forward with a new season of Truth Moms. School might be out this week, but the Moms are BACK. Before we get in deep with guests and gossip, Brit & Court recap what they’ve been up to since the first season. A small sabbatical for some big events, so postPARDON the interruption. Let’s get into birth stories, life lessons, organized chaos, and as always, truths.
In this episode, Courtney sits down with Brittainy to dive into the art of finding your “scrunchy squad”—a group of like-minded moms who share your values, quirks, and parenting vibes.  They share tips on how to break the ice, build genuine connections, and navigate the world of “mom dating” without the awkwardness. From striking up conversations at the park to figuring out if someone shares your take on holistic living and parenting, this episode is all about finding your tribe and creating a support system that truly gets you.  Whether you’re new to motherhood or just looking to expand your circle, this chat is packed with relatable stories, practical advice, and lots of laughs. Don’t miss it!
Court and Brit discuss parenting styles and discover they may not fit in one box: parenting à la carte, if you will. With every parent and every child on their own journey, the moms also discuss parenting in the wild: how to maneuver different styles and respect everyone’s path to parenthood while simultaneously being mindful of their own boundaries. One thing is for sure: there are many different approaches to raising littles, and not one path is the only way to do it.
Brittainy breaks down the history of breastfeeding coupled with her own experience. Having extended from EBF (exclusively breastfeeding) after learning her milk was high in lipase and the two week recommended bottle feeding wait period turned her baby off bottle feeding and into a boob barnacle. B gives her thoughts on breastfeeding, formula feeding, and why mothers should throw out the book and go with their gut, because fed is truly best.

Listen in as Jaimeé explains integrative health, navigates challenges, and discusses a full-blown investigation over supplements, PancakeGate, facts over fear with other leaders in the crunchy community, and more. For all Jamieé does and continues to do on her quest for better health care solutions for whole families, Brittainy and Courtney are very proud to be not only fans of Hopewell but also patients of the practice along with their littles. Brit and Court, like many moms across America, have qualms with the food industry. With MAHA movement in full force, the moms go into a important discussion about the future, culture, and conversations around health and wellness are changing. And who would’ve thought it began with a few disgruntled mommy bloggers.
In this episode of Truth Moms, Courtney and Brittainy dive into one of the most overlooked parenting topics: circumcision. After extensive research, Courtney made the choice not to circumcise her son at birth and is now sharing everything she learned—the pros, cons, myths, and facts—with Brittainy, who’s expecting but doesn’t know the gender of her baby. Never having seriously considered this decision before, Brittainy listens, asks questions, and explores the topic from a fresh perspective. They also discuss why circumcision remains such a normalized, unquestioned practice in the United States compared to other parts of the world. Why don’t more parents talk openly about this decision? Are we missing key information as a society? This honest, thoughtful conversation sheds light on a topic many parents face but rarely dive into. Whether you’re deciding for your child or simply curious, this episode is packed with insights.   Make sure to subscribe & leave us a review, & rate our podcast. The number one question after pregnancy: "What’s your birth story?" We all fixate on that very unknown mysterious realm between preggo and parent. Brit and Court share theirs to show it’s not always a linear path, not all bodies and babies are the same, and parts of it can be downright confusing. From toe candles to types of birth, one things for sure: each story is unique, unpredictable, and unforgettable.
