Welcome back to the North Country Trail! Today we find that maps are not always correct. Although I pre-planned my route and used All Trails to map the trail, I quickly discovered that the map was wildly inaccurate I had a bit of adventure finding the trail's new location. I hope the NCT Association can correct these maps soon. The trail was not well marked or well kept on the new portion.Join the challenge! Welcome to Marshall Memorial Park in Newaygo, MI! This simple park is hiding a beautiful trail, but watch out! There are a LOT of stairs. The views and peaceful creek vistas are worth it though.
