Do you ever wonder who and what is really shaping your daughter’s confidence, character, and faith every day? In this episode, we break down the role models and influencers that impact her life. And yes, we're talking about social media and celebrities, but also her friend group, teachers, and church family. We talk about how you, as her mom, can guide her in navigating these influences with awareness and intention. We start with ourselves as moms, reflecting on our own influences, from our friends and podcasts to the books we read, shows we watch, and music we listen to. Because the examples we set ripple into our daughters’ lives. Then we dive into our daughters’ world. We explore how to evaluate her friend group, the media she consumes, and the everyday voices that are shaping her identity, confidence, and internal dialogue. We talk about why it’s important to truly know her friends’ character, not just assume they’re “good influences” because of where they go to school or church. Finally, we discuss how to turn these reflections into everyday conversations (that don't feel preachy or like another "mom lecture") so that your daughter feels empowered asking these questions for herself. Here’s the power in today’s episode: • How your daughter is influenced every single day, and why awareness matters • How reflecting on your own influences helps you guide her intentionally • What to notice when evaluating her friend groups, media choices, and everyday role models • How to weave intentional conversations about influence into daily life — without being controlling • How asking the right reflective questions builds awareness and self-reflectionThis episode is packed with practical strategies for moms who want to raise confident, discerning girls who can navigate the world of influences with intentionality and empowerment.Listen in to feel empowered to take charge of who and what influences your girl. Because your intention makes all the difference. Have you ever found yourself in that tricky spot as a mom, wondering how to guide your daughter through decisions about her health- especially when it comes to birth control? It can feel overwhelming, confusing, and sometimes even a little scary. In today’s episode, I sit down with Tianna Trinidad to dive deep into how moms and daughters can approach birth control with confidence, curiosity, and empowerment. We talk about the real challenges in the current medical system, why birth control is so often the default recommendation, and how moms can help their daughters develop body literacy and make informed choices that honor both their health and intuition. Whether your daughter is approaching puberty, already navigating her first periods, or you just want to feel prepared for those conversations ahead, this episode is packed with insight, perspective, and encouragement.⸻Here’s the power in today’s episode: • Understand the systemic reasons why birth control is often prescribed first, and why it might not always be the best option. • Learn how body literacy can change the way girls experience their cycles - knowledge is empowerment! • Explore alternatives to hormonal birth control and what moms need to know about supporting their daughters’ health. • Discover ways to have honest, safe, and empowering conversations about health and consent. • Reflect on the role of intuition and personal research in making decisions for your daughter’s body.⸻This episode isn’t about telling moms or daughters what to do- it’s about giving you the tools, language, and confidence to make thoughtful, informed choices together. Tianna and I unpack the myths, the risks, and the practical realities of hormonal birth control, so you can feel empowered in guiding your daughter toward a healthy and confident understanding of her body.EMPOWERED RESOURCESFree Empowered Puberty Checklist for Girl Moms- Grab it HEREEmpowered Cycle Charting for Her- Check It Out HEREPeriod Kit- Check out RedDrop HERERELATED EPISODESEp. 11- Decision Making: Teach Her to Use Her B.R.A.I.NEp. 24 — Rant: Why Every Tween Should Learn to Cycle Chart (Before Ever Touching an App)CONNECT WITH TIANNA TRINIDADWebsite: LoveServedWarm.comInstagram: @loveservedwarmFree Baby Ready WorkbookFree Skool CommunityPCOS and Prosecco PodcastCONNECT WITH ADRIANEInstagram- @empoweredpubertypodcastInstagram- @empowered_wombWebsite- EmpoweredWomb.comEmail- adriane@empoweredwomb.comHOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCEFOLLOW/SUBSCRIBE to the podcast on your favorite podcast playerRATE the podcastREVIEW the podcastSHARE this podcast episode with a friend!

Have you ever looked up from your phone and realized you missed a moment- a question, a laugh, eye contact- simply because a scroll pulled you away? It’s a quiet heartbreak so many moms carry. We don’t want to be distracted… yet the pull of social media so often wins, leaving us feeling guilty, scattered, and wondering if we’re modeling the attention and presence we hope our kids will give their families. That’s why today’s conversation with Mari Wuellner is so powerful. Mari is a mom and business owner who took a bold three-month sabbatical from all social media- no posting, no stories, no scrolling. What she discovered might just challenge everything you believe about presence, purpose, and how we connect in a screen-saturated world.Mari shares:The surprising moments she would’ve completely missed if she’d been focused on documenting them. How her kids responded when she was finally fully with them (not half in a scroll). Why her creativity, clarity, and even her business grew when she logged off. What she’d tell any mom craving more life and less digital noise.Practical wisdom for taking your own social media break — and how (or if) to return. Here’s the Power in Today’s Episode:A real-life look at what a social media sabbatical can unlock.A challenge to rethink how we model presence for our daughters.Permission to protect your peace, your mind, and your motherhood — without fear of "missing out".Because sometimes the most powerful thing a mother can do… is look up.EMPOWERED RESOURCESFree Empowered Puberty Checklist for Girl Moms- Grab it HEREEmpowered Cycle Charting for Her- Check It Out HEREEmpowered for Life Coaching Community- Check it Out HEREPeriod Kit- Check out RedDrop HERERELATED EPISODESMom Guilt with Mari WuellnerCONNECT WITH MARI WUELLNERUnplugged Email NewsletterWebsite- MariWuellnerCoaching.comInstagram- @mariwuellnerThe Crew Life Coaching CollectiveCONNECT WITH ADRIANEInstagram- @empoweredpubertypodcastInstagram- @empowered_wombWebsite- EmpoweredWomb.comHOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE Subscribe/ Follow the podcast on your favorite podcast playerRate the podcastReview the podcastShare this podcast episode with a friend!
If you’ve ever wondered where your daughter is at in her puberty journey or how to talk about all the changes without making it weird or overwhelming… this quick episode is for you.The 5 stages of puberty — also known as the Tanner Stages — can be an incredibly helpful roadmap for moms who want to guide their daughters with confidence and calm. Instead of puberty feeling like it “just appears out of nowhere,” these stages help both of you see what’s happening in her body as a normal, natural process.👉 Here’s the power in today’s episode:Today’s episode is intentionally short and simple — because this whole puberty thing doesn’t have to be complicated. I’ll walk you through a quick, step-by-step breakdown of how to actually use the 5 Stages of Puberty to start meaningful, positive conversations with your daughter. You’ll learn how to: • Use the 5 Stages of Female Puberty guide to identify which stage your daughter is in (link below- see the Free Empowered Puberty Checklist!) • Introduce the topic in a way that feels natural (and not awkward!) • Encourage her to observe her body with curiosity and respect • Keep the conversation going as she grows and changesSometimes we over complicate this stage of parenting, but it really can be light, empowering, and even fun.And if you’ve noticed your daughter having a totally different experience with puberty than you ever did? That’s because of YOU, mama. Your openness, your willingness and determination to make this better for her - that’s what’s helping to create an empowered generation of girls. So grab the freebie, plan a time to sit down together, and remember: you are an empowered mom, raising an empowered girl. 💛EMPOWERED RESOURCESFree Empowered Puberty Checklist for Girl Moms- Grab it HEREEmpowered Cycle Charting for Her- Check It Out HEREPeriod Kit- Check out RedDrop HERERELATED EPISODESEp. 3- The Truth About Puberty- Ages, Stages, & Your Role as MomEp. 21- Her Period: 3 Things No One Told YouCONNECT WITH ADRIANEInstagram- @empoweredpubertypodcastInstagram- @empowered_wombWebsite- EmpoweredWomb.comEmail- adriane@empoweredwomb.comHOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE- FOLLOW/SUBSCRIBE to the podcast on your favorite podcast player- RATE the podcast- REVIEW the podcast- SHARE this podcast episode with a friend!
The world feels incredibly heavy right now. And as moms, it's tough enough to even keep it all together, let alone figure out how we model for our daughters how NOT to live in fear.I'll be honest- I’ve legitimately considered pulling my girls from school, buying a piece of land in the middle of nowhere, and building a bunker to hide from the rest of society. 🙋♀️ Can you relate?I resisted recording this episode. I didn’t want to use Charlie Kirk’s name for clickbait or contribute even one iota to the noise that's already out there. It's causing division, heaviness, and hate and I want absolutely no part of that. But God kept reminding me (over and over again) of the truth in John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”If you’re a mom craving true peace, encouragement, and perspective in these hard times, this episode will meet you right where you are. Together we’ll unpack REAL truth and practical reminders that help us anchor our hearts in God’s promises and model strength and peace for our girls. The weight of the world is real, but so is God’s presence—and He’s given us everything we need to walk in peace, courage, and hope.✨ Here’s the power in today’s episode:Honest encouragement for when the world feels overwhelmingBiblical truth that anchors you (and your daughter) in peacePerspective to help you parent with strength instead of fearA reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re feelingPractical steps to keep pointing your home back to God’s promises📖 Scriptures referenced in this episode:Galatians 2:201 John 3:1Romans 12:6–81 Corinthians 12:4–6John 16:33Joshua 1:91 John 3:81 Corinthians 15:55–57John 14:2–3Philippians 3:202 Corinthians 5:1Isaiah 41:10Psalm 23:4👉 Your Next Best Step: After you listen, take a few quiet minutes with God. In this episode, I share how to talk about body hair with confidence, what’s normal in puberty, and how to guide her choices without the awkwardness.Body hair is one of those puberty topics that sneaks up on us as moms. Episode 28: 3 Questions Every Girl Mom Must Ask Her Tween DaughterIf you’ve ever wondered how to raise a daughter who trusts her body, builds intentional and authentic relationships, and walks in Holy Spirit confidence… this episode is for you.I recorded this one while walking outside— not feeling 100% (hello sounds of “nature” 🙃), but I didnt’ want to miss the opportunity to share what's on my heart. Here's the power in today's episode:This week, I’m sharing 3 intentional questions I regularly ask my own daughter — and why quality questions are the foundation of how I coach AND parent.Because here’s the truth:When we ask better questions, we invite real ownership. Not obedience. Not perfection. Not people-pleasing.True, lasting transformation and empowerment. These questions aren’t scripts or strategies. They’re simple, powerful tools that help our girls pause, reflect, and tune in — to their values, their body’s wisdom, and their connection with God.And the third question I share? It might just be the most important one she (or you) will ever ask. 💛If you want to raise a daughter who feels confident in her choices — not because you told her what to do, but because she knows how to listen inward and upward — press play on this one.Your Next Best StepWhat quality question stood out to you?
