Website/links: https://ttpfieldmanual.captivate.fm–*BONUS CONTENT!* Joshy and Jonny discuss for Book Club, "Da Red Gobbo Collection", an anthology released in 2024 compiling several works from Mike Brooks, Denny Flowers, and Rhuairidh James. There will be spoilers. Da Red Gobbo is synonymous with the fires of 'revolushun' which stir in certain Grots' hearts. Whether called to action by the oppression of da Ork bosses or by the need to lead their fellow twits in defiance of an overwhelming enemy, Da Red Gobbo is not one entity but a figurehead adopted by many a Grot. This was definitely the most 'fun' we have had with a Warhammer novel. Joshy provides the TLDR of his favourite Black Library Saga: Dan Abnett's Eisenhorn saga. This episode briefly covers Eisenhorn's novels Xenos, Malleus, Hereticus, and Magos. We also discuss Ravenor, Ravenor Rogue, and Ravenor Returned. Finally, we talk about Bequin: Pariah and Bequin: Penitent. While not a proper Book Club episode, we hope this episode, releasing on Christmas Day, is a fun and engaging summary of a beloved saga that, for most, has been an instrumental part of their Black Library journey.Happy holidays.–TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. These Phoenix Lords include Asurmen and his disciples from the earliest days of The Fall, where he taught Jain Zar, Fuegan, Baharroth, Maugan Ra, Lhykis and more the ways of warfare and how to defend the Aeldari people. On the tabletop, the Phoenix Lords and their Aspect Warriors form an elite backbone of an Aeldari force, and even receive their own suite of tailored rules known as the Aspect Host detachment.–TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. Lucius the Eternal is a real turd. We don't really like him - but that's the point! Smug, egotistical, prideful, and perhaps the deadliest Assassin in all of the Astartes datasheets across 40k, Lucius is a fan-favourite. From the very first novels of the Horus Heresy, to a recently remodelled unit for 40k's new Emperor's Children range, Lucius' presence is widespread. –TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. There are birds nearby. In this episode, we cover the Raven Guard heroes of the 40k tabletop, fan-favourite Kayvaan Shrike, 3rd Company Captain turned temporary Chapter Master during the Damocles Crusade, and newly modelled Aethon Shaan, the new Chapter Master. Both of these warriors are legendary guerrilla fighters, exemplars of their chapter's way of warfare: stealth, subterfuge, assassination. On the tabletop, these individuals reward you for bringing lots of Jump Pack and Phobos units, able to redeploy them on and off the tabletop, whilst benefitting from a suite of stealthy buffs.–TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. He is Chaos's weapons dealer - he plays all sides of the conflict within the warp, bartering with each of the Four to create their daemon engines and other infernal weaponry. He has established a sense of order within his growing domain, as industry and creation in the material realm empower him in his quests for pantheon ascension. Upon the tabletop, Vashtorr wreaks havoc against his opponent's machinery, as well as seriously buffing nearby daemon engines.–TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. A being rumoured to be multiple within a role, each moment of Veilwalker's lore pushes forward the tapestry of characters across 40k. From communications with Fabius Bile, working alongside the Fallen Angel Cypher, and escorting Yvraine, Herald of Ynnead, Veilwalker is the Laughing God's jest: a plot device. Once consort to Asdrubael Vect, the Archon of the Kabal of the Poisoned Tongue is a mastermind with allies across all corners of the Aeldari tapestry. Both on the tabletop and in the lore, Lady Malys can bend others' perceptions regarding her game plan, with that deception extending to her lethality in combat. A rampant mutation would plague the Thousand Sons since their inception, and after making a deal with Tzeentch to save the legion from the Space Wolves and their assault during the Horus Heresy, the legion would be doomed. As this mutation increased, Ahriman sought a cure - a magical antitode he would name The Rubric. The ways of Tzeentch would reveal themselves as The Rubric would change the mutated into dust, animating their armour as soulless beings. Ahriman would spend the rest of his life seeking to correct his mistake, along the way gaining power beyond that of any mortal psyker throughout the galaxy.–TTP Field Manual is brought to you by Joshy and Jonny, best friends and gaming enthusiasts from their local group, Trust the Process Hobbies. Shas'O Shasherra, her real name, is a military prodigy considered the 'Spearhead of the Greater Good', and is highly regarded for her command of the Third Sphere Expansion campaign. Shadowsun is one of two students of the famed Commander Puretide, and exhibits unmatched brilliance in the ways of Kauyon - the Patient Hunter.
