Hey there A’s Day Fans, happy Friday the 13th! Today, we discuss the trade with the Royals acquiring minor league RHP AJ Causey. Later, we discuss the A’s players that will be representing their organization for their respective county in this March’s World Baseball Classic. Today, we discuss the A’s claiming IF/OF Andy Ibanez from the Los Angeles Dodgers and how he will impact the 2026 team. Later, we welcome back Mark McGwire to the team as the A’s franchise leader in home runs will be assuming a role in baseball operations as a Special Assistant to the Player Development Staff. With the A’s claiming Ibanez, they had to make room on the 40 man roster and do so by trading IF/OF Max Schuemann to the New York Yankees in exchange for Minor League RHP Luis Burgos.
