Season 2 Episode 6! The new season is now in full swing, so we do our first update and recap of all things 2025/2026 synchro! Dresses, themes and competition results, lets make sure we are all up to date.
Season 2 Episode 5! This is a follow along from last weeks episode, except we are joined with a very special guest - Marta Pietrasik, a retired Les Supremes skater, an Iron Man extrodanier, a masters student and a survivor. She shares her journey and recovery, alongside the research she has done on disordered eating and eating disorders in performance based sports.
Season 2 Episode 4! Trigger warning for a very serious topic. We break down the important topic of body image within our performance based sport. It can be incredibly hard when everyone is expected to the same be or look the same on the ice. Discussing our personal experiences, followed by the listeners experiences from Instagram polls, be sure to be kind to yourself and wary when listening to this episode.
Season 2 Episode 3! Literally of the back of an Emmy nomination!!! We talk to Vashti Lonsdale about her skating career in both figure and synchro, her connection and commitement to Figure Skating in Harlem, and of course, everything about the Disney+ docuseries and the club that is changing young girls lives. Note - Afton is away this week! Her big girl job has her away, but not to fret, she will be back for episode 4.
Season 2 Episode 2! We had a number of requests to talk about being an alternate - so here we are! One of the hardest and most important positions to hold on a synchro team, we talk all about what makes a good alternate, our personal experiences, how to support your team from the sidelines and how to prove yourself to get onto the skating squad.

We spoke about synchro mums and parents quite fair amount last season, so we thought it was only fitting to start of the new one with our very own. Season 1 Episode 20! WOW! What a competition. The 2025 World Synchronized Skating Championships were held on the 4th and 5th of April in Helsinki, Finland. A worlds for the record books, we break down every teams performances.
Season 1 Epiosde 19! Chris Buchanan, who among many roles was head of the ISU Synchronized Skating Technical Committee for 8 years, spoke with us about the 2024/2025 season. We talk everything from the Olympics and the first WSSC, to themes, troublesome elements and rule making this year. We also got very distracted and chatted for a VERY long time, but we promise every sentence is worth it!
Season 1 Episode 18! We are so lucky to sit down with the 2025 Junior World Champions - Teams Elite Junior. Their lovely head coach Danielle Ostrower, team captain Evie Stuckey and team member Lyric O'Neal joined us for a great chat. We start right at the beginning, talking about how the season started then breakdown everything along the way to finding out they had won gold in the worlds changing room.
Season 1 Episode 17! We watched, we cheered, we screamed and we applauded. The 2025 Junior World Championships were held in Gothenburg Sweden from March 7th to 8th, so lets break the event down together. Going through every single team that skated, we want to congratulate all the competitors on their performance no matter the outcome.
Seasoon 1 Episode 16! This week, we wanted to chat about a team that deserves some more attention, and Team Berlin 1 definitely deserves it. We spoke to the lovely Shenja Li about her team and her personal skating journey.
Season 1 Episode 15! This week is a lot of chit chat, we talk about how your seasons are going, who we think is going to win worlds and the qualification process for competitions in each country. Less gossip as such, but we still managed to ramble for an hour...
Season 1 Episode 14! Our final episode covering the ISU Challenger Series. This time we cover the International Classic in Boston, the USA, held on the 7th and 8th and February. We also close up these 4 episodes with your overall thoughts on the four competitions and what we think can be improved.
Season 1, Episode 13! Lets take a look at French Cup together. Held in Rouen, France, from the 31st of January to the 1st of February, there were quite a few mistakes in the senior category, We thought Junior was the better watch and chat all your responses to our Instagram polls.
Season 1 Episode 12! Dresden Cup is the second ISU Challenger competition for the this season. Held from the 24th to the 25th of January in Germany, we watched the teams, chatted programs and broke down the scores.
Season 1 Episode 11! Lets deep dive together into the first ISU Synchronized Skating Challenger Competition. Held in Salzburg, Austria from the 16-19th of January, we discuss the fierce competition, the results, and breakdown the senior category's protocols. The first of 4 competition episodes.
Season 1 Episode 10! Joining us from Finland, Tuuli Mäkinen answers all our fangirl questions about her life in the sport. The legend spend 8 years on Team Unique and served as captain for a number of them. Chatting from grassroots and skating in one of the big three, to clearing up some of the Finland synchro rumours, we are obsessed.
