Episode 19: Patrick Michael

Episode 19: Patrick Michael

2026-01-1001:49:34

Many things can inspire a person to do what they do and that is the basis for this particular interview. Patrick is the host of the channel known as "Have Cheetah will View," and through his channel, he has interviewed hundreds of people. It was also through Patrick and his channel that I was inspired to interview people myself.I sit down with Patrick and discuss the many things that come with being an interviewer on YouTube, both positive and negative. How does his find his interview subjects? What happens when one cancels at the last minute or even no-shows and lies about their explanation? Who was the most interesting person interviewed? Many more subjects brought up in this informative interview including his frustrations as a YouTube content creator, his love for the community of people in his circle, and even his interaction with actor Crispin Glover!
Lauren-Marie Taylor always wanted to be a veterinarian. However things changed very early in her life while on stage, performing in a production of "Oklahoma." After being seen by a talent agent, she starred in television commercials until 1981 happened. That year she played the role of Vickie in Friday the 13th Part II: the sweet innocent girl next door who was trying her best to show off her "bad" side and seduce the character of Mark, all before being slayed by Jason Voorhees. There is much more to Lauren-Marie than just her time in Crystal Lake and we're going to discuss that as well. What was it like working with Dan Akroyd and John Belushi in Neighbors? How is it transitioning from film to being on a soap opera for twelve years? And how did her comeback to acting happen, starting with the horror film In a Violent Nature? All that and so much more in this fun and entertaining interview!
Acting has always been a passion for Beatrice and in 1989, she entered horror history by landing the role of Amanda Krueger, mother to the iconic slasher movie villain Freddy Krueger, in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.Although Amanda Krueger may be the role Beatrice might be known for, there is so much more to her than that. A life that has spanned multiple countries, Beatrice definitely has a story to tell: teaching English in Taiwan, living in India and nearly becoming a monk, and becoming a yoga instructor after moving back to the States while continuing her break from Hollywood. The acting bug eventually bit her again and she's been in countless independent and short films in the last few years. What's it like getting back into the swing of acting? How does she feel when she sees all the love for her character after all these years? What was it like playing the mother of yet ANOTHER horror icon? From acting with Johnny Depp and Emilio Estevez to writing a book about Amanda Krueger, to co-writing and co-producing her first dramatic short known as "The Final Walk," there are lots of things to talk about with this well-traveled actress.

Episode 16: Adam Marcus

2025-12-1002:07:59

Fresh out of NYU, a young Adam Marcus was given the keys to the kingdom and had the task of directing Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, the ninth film in the Friday the 13th franchise. Perhaps one of the most polarizing entries of the series, Adam has heard both the highest amount of praise and the lowest amount of hate. What inspired Adam to start making films? What is it about writing strong female characters that he loves? How difficult is it when dealing with 19 producers on one film? How does it feel all these years later to see all the love and support of Jason Goes to Hell after dealing with all the negativity? We also jump into his love of art, French films, his production company known as Skeleton Crew, his upcoming documentary on Jason Goes to Hell (which he initially had no interest in making) known as Hearts of Darkness: The Making of the Final Friday, and much more!
Episode 15: James Fury

Episode 15: James Fury

2025-11-1054:05

James Fury has quickly become one of my favorite independent pro wrestlers for many reasons: his confidence and cockiness on the microphone, his intensity in the ring, and the way he interacts with the crowd. Love him or hate him, he always gets the fans reacting.A lot has happened for James since his early days as a backyard wrestler and we'll dive into that. What keeps him motivated to continue on this journey that's only three years in the making? How did he go from a young kid with self image issues to the confident man we see in the ring today? Where did this fury come from? What is it like running your own promotion?Future goals, the importance of self promotion on social media, self confidence, and many other things are discussed in this at times quite inspiring interview.

Episode 14: Jewel De'Nyle

2025-10-1901:10:12

Frequently entering tournaments like The King of the Deathmatches, The Tournament of Death, and Carnage Cup (which he would eventually win), he was gaining a big following. There are content creators on YouTube and then there's Night from The Nightwatch Zone. Night is the perfect example of perseverance when it comes to his channel. From celebrating 1000 subscribers and then having it all taken away in the blink of an eye, Night proves that giving up isn't ever an option. Bill O'Reilly said it best with "F**k it. We'll do it LIVE!" If you were witness to the last time Melissa and I got together, anything and everything went wrong. Still, we ran with it and a pretty damn good interview happened overall. From tech problems to dogs needing attention, we had to end the interview early. Please join us as we get back together to (hopefully) end the interview in a proper fashion. There were only a handful of planned questions left but who knows what will happen this time!

Larry Jennings aka Gavin Alexander recently passed away after a lengthy battle with a form of brain cancer known as Glioblastoma. We became friends a few years ago after I first saw him at a WCPW show here in Sycamore. There are so many memories I'll have of Larry: being the first person I ever interviewed on my channel, the interactions he had with my wife and daughter while "off the clock," and just many nights of bullshitting with each other on the phone. My biggest condolences to his wife Heather Jennings, son Skyler Jennings, and anyone that knew and loved him. Gavin Alexander might have been an awful person between the ropes, but Larry was a good man who will be missed by all. You're no longer in pain, my friend. Now you can rest. I hope I do his memory justice.
