The Bible talks about "redeeming the time" specifically, and using time wisely in a general sense. I believe the older we get the more we see the value of time, and with age comes wisdom and wisdom teaches us that using our time wisely should be one of the central themes interwoven throughout the short span of time we are given. The book of Proverbs 11:14 (KJV) tells us. "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety." And again in Proverbs 15:22 (KJV) it states, "Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established." In this episode, we turn to wise counsel as we unpack what it means to "redeem the time". For years there has been an onslaught against modesty… for years there have been agendas and campaigns to end gender distinction… why is the world so opposed to a man looking like a man, or a woman looking like a woman? Why are the dark agendas always so set on destroying the distinctions between the sexes and why does it always lead to the indoctrination of children? Could it be that the god of this world (Satan) is trying to dispel the order of the One who created the world? Or is it just simply a fashion or lifestyle trend that bears little to no signifigance? Well, let's look at this from all angles today. Did the Early Church Fathers Really Stay True to the Bible? Or Did They Drift Away? In this eye-opening video, we peel back the layers of history to expose where the writings of the Church Fathers clash with Scripture and Apostolic Pentecostal teaching. Many believers assume these early leaders simply echoed the Bible, but the truth may shock you. We'll trace: ✅ When these writings were introduced (5–300 years after the Apostles) ✅ Key doctrines where they depart from the Bible ✅ How terms like "Trinity" and practices like triune baptism replaced clear Biblical commands ✅ Why this matters for your faith today From baptism in Jesus' name to the Oneness of God and the power of the Holy Ghost, discover how the early church gradually shifted toward traditions and philosophies that contradict the Apostolic pattern. If you want to build your faith on the Word, not on human tradition, you need to see this!  If you have any questions, prayer requests, or would like to request a topic for a future episode, send a text message to (833) 921-9023 In order for you to get the most out of this podcast, each episode will contain a downloadable PDF document for reference containing all of the scriptures discussed and any other applicable links. What does the Bible say about Christians and alcoholic beverages? Can Christians drink alcohol in moderation? This episode explores whether Christians should drink alcohol by examining biblical references, historical context, and theological arguments. It argues that biblical "wine" was often unfermented or heavily diluted, making it less intoxicating than modern alcohol. The discussion refutes claims that Jesus drank fermented wine, citing Jewish customs and scriptural interpretations. It also highlights biblical warnings against drunkenness and excess. The author shares a personal testimony of being delivered from addiction, emphasizing that moderation is a slippery slope. The conclusion urges Christians to avoid alcohol to maintain spiritual integrity. Find answers to these questions, and more, in this episode of The Pentecostal Perspective. In this episode we are going to discuss whether or not it makes sense for Christians to celebrate Halloween.   This episode discusses whether Christians should celebrate Halloween, tracing its origins and evolution. It argues that Halloween is rooted in pagan traditions, specifically the Celtic festival of Samhain, which was later adapted by the Romans and Catholics. The author questions whether Christians should participate in a holiday associated with death and darkness, emphasizing biblical principles about being set apart from worldly customs.   The piece also critiques alternatives like church-hosted fall festivals and trunk-or-treat events, warning against desensitization to secular influences. Ultimately, the author presents historical facts and biblical teachings, leaving the decision to the reader. Find answers to these questions, and more, in this episode of The Pentecostal Perspective. In this episode we are going to tackle the age old question of the sabbath. Is it Saturday, is it Sunday, does it still apply to us at all?   The episode argues that Jesus shifted the emphasis from legalistic observance to spiritual rest, as seen in Matthew 12, where Jesus challenges the Pharisees' rigid interpretation of the Sabbath. The host concludes that the Holy Spirit is the believer's true rest, making every day a Sabbath in a spiritual sense. While setting aside a day for worship is valuable, the podcast warns against divisiveness over which day to observe. It encourages listeners to seek a personal relationship with God and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Did spiritual gifts, dreams, visions, and miracles in the Church cease from existence after the death of the Apostles? This episode discusses the belief within the Pentecostal church that spiritual gifts, dreams, visions, and miracles did not cease after the Apostles, despite the claims of cessationists. The Pentecostal perspective is based on biblical precepts, attributing nine spiritual gifts to believers filled with the spirit of God. Scholars from various denominations have attempted to minimize or disprove supernatural occurrences associated with Pentecostal beliefs, labeling them as fanaticism or heresy. The host delves into scriptures often cited by cessationists to support their view that spiritual gifts ceased with the end of the apostolic age. However, the video argues that these scriptures, when read in context, actually support the continuation of spiritual gifts until the return of Jesus Christ. Additionally, the host refutes the idea that the foundational role of the apostles and prophets was unique to the early church, pointing out that the church is being built up and strengthened by the transference of power from the apostles to future believers. In conclusion, the Pentecostal perspective is supported by scripture and logic, emphasizing that spiritual gifts are vital for the empowerment and edification of the church until Jesus returns.
