Description
A young woman leaves behind her isolated, suffocating existence to climb The Tower, an abandoned relic of a forgotten age, built by a proud king who wanted to rule the sky as well as the land. It stretches up into the sky, through the smog. An experimental audio drama series from Tin Can Audio. Transcript: https://www.tincanaudio.co.uk/post/coming-soon-the-tower-finale A two part special, coming November 2025 Six years ago this week we released the first ever episode of The Tower. A lot has changed since then, I had no idea that this weird little idea for a story would take me down the path it has. I'm incredibly grateful to every single one of you who has come with us on this journey, you have all been very patient, and it is an honour to be able to share a trailer for the final part of this series. Also, from today, right up until we finish the series, over on the Tin Can Audio twitch channel, I'm going to be hosting some listen alongs and behind the scenes streams of The Tower every Monday and Wednesday, including the day this releases, at 8pm UK time, 3pm Eastern. If you're just joining us or you want to do a full series relisten before the finale comes out, this is a great way to experience the show before we close the book on it. Tune in here: twitch.tv/tincanaudio We hope you enjoy, and thank you for listening.
Bandcamp: https://bit.ly/435wzAp Spotify: https://bit.ly/45oXfyn This is just a quick announcement to say that the soundtrack for Part 3 of The Tower is now available to pre-order from the Tin Can Audio Bandcamp page. If you pre-order the album you'll get my favourite track on the album, 'These Lifeless Things' right away, that's the track playing behind me. The full album will be released on Bandcamp and on most streaming services on May 21st. I've put a pre-save link in the shownotes. The score for Part 3 was some of the most challenging, but also some of the most rewarding, music I've ever had the pleasure of making. It ties together a lot of musical themes and threads from Part 1 & 2 while also introducing some of its own sounds and motifs. It also has a lot of very, very tasty synth textures and we played around with a lot of tape effects with this soundtrack. I'm very proud of it, I think it's some of the best music from the series. Thank to everyone who has listened and continues to listen to this series and its soundtrack. I can't quite believe we've made it this far! We are in the process of figuring out the final part of the series. I don't really have any news other than that but I thought it was important to let you know that there is going to be another part. That will hopefully be appearing sooner rather than later but, in the meantime, please enjoy the rest of this track and thank you so much for listening, and thank you so much for being here. Buy the EP: tincanaudio.bandcamp.com/album/chill-beats-to-climb-impossible-towers-to-ep Support The Tower on Ko-Fi: ko-fi.com/tincanaudio A collection of lo-fi remixes of some of the music from The Tower. This special mix also incorporates additional sound design from the series to create an immersive listening experience. This started out as a joke on the Tin Can Audio Patreon Discord and then, during a week I was recovering from the flu, I started playing around with some of the music and found that it actually wasn't the worst idea. This was a lot of fun to put together, and I hope you enjoy listening to it! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

one of my favorite fiction podcasts!
For anyone who loves the premise but finds the execution lacking, I recommend the webcomic Tower of God. I found this podcast disappointing so far, as there's only about 5 minutes of real plot developing story content per episode. It's just her making a phone call and briefly mentioning something she encountered in the tower without any depth of experience, and that's it every episode.
How are you calling this an episode? There's literally no content
... why
This is nice! 👍🤗
Love love loooooove this series. So excited that it's coming back!
Really looking forward to this!
I love this podcast! Anxiously waiting for more....
What about The Tower? 😭😭😭
Everything about this is amazing, especially the sound design. Hope there's going to be a series 2
ugh this was good. I want more.
I loved a couple of these but both haven't had updates in over a year. They were great but it definitely makes me not want to invest more time in the other shows if they're going to just fade away on a cliffhanger too.
Really enjoyed this journey and can't wait to discover more about this tower. There's such a great atmosphere to this story. The wonderful voice actors and sound design blend together so well and the mystery of the tower has sucked me in. Can't wait to hear season 2
This was so good, oh my god.
will there be more???
