Filmmaker Mark Sowerby embarks on a journey across five continents and seven oceans in a desperate bid to overcome fear and trauma and reclaim his life. As a result of this journey, Mark documents his remarkable journey in the new documentary DON'T BE PREY. He competes as an open swimmer and takes on Oceans Seven, which is one of the most extreme forms of open‑water swimming events in the world. It involves long‑distance channel crossings in unpredictable, often dangerous natural environments — oceans, straits, and open channels — with no wetsuit, no flotation, and no protection from currents, wildlife, or weather.
