Shiva’s 13th and biggest season ever has come to a close on a weekend that provided many twists, turns and crazy scores. There’s plenty of hard luck stories to be heard, but this week we celebrate the champions and look forward to what’s to come in the this year’s final SHIVA BLAST! Like Nick Blakey at the GABBA, this week Shiva gave plenty of coaches the finger. Last week on the podcast we called the prelim the hardest game to win - and so it proved to be for so many of our successful coaches throughout season 2025. The finals are here - AND so are the consolation finals and I will say this again - NO ONE is out yet. Teams in 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th can put their feet up and scope out the competition. What an absolute minefield of a round. Fortunes can change quickly in this game and 2 weeks out from finals a lot of coaches learned that the hard way this week.
