If your mind never quite switches off and your body feels stuck in constant “go mode”, this short episode explores why nervous system overwhelm might be the missing piece in your health puzzle. I share why supplements and “doing everything right” often aren’t enough if your body is stuck in survival mode - and what actually helps restore calm, energy and clarity.   Links 🌿 Spring Yoga & Nervous System Reset Retreat - here 🔎 Well Woman Health MOT (complimentary health audit) - here
In this episode, I’m diving into one of my favourite evidence-based “superfoods”: broccoli sprouts and the powerful compound they contain, sulforaphane. We explore what sulforaphane actually is (and why you should care!), how it activates your body’s own antioxidant and detoxification pathways, and why that matters for women in midlife. This is something I use with clients all the time in my private clinic, and it can really make a difference in oestrogen metabolism, heavy periods, PMS, brain fog and metabolic stress.    Resources Mentioned Book your free Clarity Call here to find out more about working with me. I have one space left until fully booked and will go to wait list. Sulforaphane as a Promising Natural Molecule for Health Benefits (2024 review paper) Freeze dried broccoli sprouts - buy here

Intermittent fasting is often promoted as a simple solution for weight loss, but most of the research behind it has been done in men. In this episode, I break down one of the few women-specific trials on time-restricted eating: Flexible time-restricted eating and aerobic exercise in middle-aged women (Nature Communications, 2025). You can read the paper here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-025-65678-z This study looked at middle-aged women with overweight or obesity and found that an 8-hour eating window reduced fat mass, with the greatest improvements seen when time-restricted eating was combined with exercise. In this episode, we cover: Why skipping breakfast often backfires for stressed or cycling women Why cortisol, sleep, and total intake matter more than fasting longer Why I prefer time-restricted eating over strict 16-hour fasts How a 10–12 hour overnight fast may support fat metabolism A more sustainable, physiology-first approach to weight loss If you want a more sustainable, physiology-first approach to weight loss as a woman, this episode will help you rethink timing, stress, and structure. Have you ever quietly wondered if Ozempic or Mounjaro would just make this whole weight thing easier? In this short episode, I explore why weight feels especially hard for women in midlife and what these medications are actually doing beneath the surface. We talk hormones, stress, insulin, and why willpower is rarely the real issue. If you feel stuck despite doing “all the right things,” there is a reason. Want to understand what is really driving your weight? Omega-3s are not a wellness trend. They are a foundational nutrient for your brain, hormones, mood, and inflammation. In this episode, I explain why omega-3s deserve far more attention than they get and how EPA and DHA support brain function, mental health, hormonal transitions, and inflammation. I share why women’s needs change across life stages, why intake does not always equal status, and why perimenopause is a key window to pay attention. If you want clarity on what actually helps you feel better and where to focus first, this episode cuts through the noise and gets straight to what matters.   RESOURCES Book your Clarity Call from here  This is the fish oil I use here - use code KEZH010 to get 10% off
In this episode, I share how I have been supporting my hormones over the past year as I reflect on being in early perimenopause (??!!). I talk through the mistakes I made, the tests that gave me the most useful insight, and the simple food, lifestyle and nervous system actions that made a real difference to my hormones, energy and cycle. I also share a short reflection on the year as a whole and what it has taught me about slowing down and listening to my body. This is an honest, practical episode for women in early perimenopause who want grounded guidance rather than overwhelm. This episode is my end-of-year round-up of the 10 biggest lessons my clients have had to learn before their bodies could actually heal. I’m sharing the patterns I’ve seen again and again across gut issues, hormones, fatigue and midlife, from why symptoms rarely come from one place, to why nervous system regulation is non negotiable, to why you can’t restrict your way into good digestion. If you’ve been stuck in the loop of trying “all the things” but still feeling rubbish, this one will help you zoom out, spot what you’ve missed, and get really clear on what to focus on in 2026. Resources: If you’re done guessing and you want clarity on what’s really driving your symptoms, book a Clarity Call with me. It’s relaxed, practical, and you’ll leave knowing your next best steps, even if we never work together.
In this episode I’m diving into one small but powerful blood marker you’ve probably never been offered at the GP: homocysteine. We look at: What homocysteine actually is and why it matters for your mood, memory and hormones How B6, B12 and folate can help lower homocysteine The Oxford VITACOG trial showing B-vitamins can slow brain shrinkage in people with mild cognitive impairment Follow-up research showing B-vitamins work best when omega-3 levels are good – why your brain needs both B-vitamins and omega-3s together Practical ways to support healthy homocysteine levels through food, supplements and testing Studies mentioned in this episode: Smith AD et al. In this 10-minute bonus episode, I’m sharing a little observation that’s been bubbling away for a while… Why is it that so many of us will spend easily on things like Ozempic or quick fixes - yet hesitate, delay, or feel guilty investing in the kind of deep, foundational health work that actually changes how we feel long-term? This isn’t an anti-medication rant. It’s a curiosity. A cultural moment worth pausing on. And a gentle reminder that your health isn’t a luxury - it’s the foundation of your whole life. We explore: The psychology of quick fixes vs real healing Why women especially feel guilty investing in themselves How we’ve been conditioned to spend on outcomes, not root causes What actually changes energy, hormones, digestion and mood long-term A loving nudge to back yourself and your wellbeing A short riff, but an important one.  🖤 Black Friday 121 Session If you’ve been wanting support, clarity, or a proper plan for your hormones, gut or energy - my Black Friday offers are now live until 1st December. 👉 £100 off the ROOT session (my 1:1 deep-dive) - use code Blackfriday to get discount If you want 2026 to feel different in your body, this is a good moment to jump in.
