Tonight, our Diddy series reaches its finale. We unpack Jane Doe’s testimony in full, including the “love contract,” the hotel nights she says turned into obligation, and the chilling ways coercion showed up even after Diddy’s arrest. Then we track the closing arguments, the jury’s reasoning, and the verdict that left the courtroom divided. And just as the trial dust settles, 50 Cent and Netflix light the fuse again, dropping a new docuseries built on trial footage Diddy allegedly never meant the public to see, reviving old rivalries, and surfacing fresh claims that reopen the darkest corners of his legacy. With appeals already in motion and civil suits still mounting, the story keeps expanding long after Diddy’s sentencing.  Head over to our Crime House Daily YouTube channel to WATCH this episode: https://www.youtube.com/@CrimeHouseDaily If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow Crime House Daily to never miss a case! Part 4 of our Diddy series spotlights the trial’s biggest star witness: Kid Cudi. On the stand, the rapper walks through the alleged threats, the Cassie-linked break-in, and the moment his Porsche was torched with a Molotov cocktail, details prosecutors leaned on to paint a racketeering pattern. We also hear from ex-assistant Capricorn Clark, who says Diddy forced her into a terrifying revenge scheme at gunpoint. With fresh courtroom revelations still echoing after the 2025 verdict, this episode pulls back the curtain on how power, fear, and loyalty allegedly operated in Diddy’s world. Part 3 of our Diddy trial deep dive centers on the defense’s sweeping cross-examination of Cassie Ventura, where her private texts, freak-off messages, and relationship history are reframed as “consent.” Katie breaks down why those same messages can read as survival inside coercive control, and how the defense’s timeline-scrambling strategy aims to create doubt. Then, the case widens as other witnesses take the stand: singer-songwriter Dawn Richard recounts a brutal 2009 attack she says she watched unfold, and escort Daniel Phillip gives a first-hand account of freak-offs that eerily mirror Cassie’s story.  Head over to our Crime House Daily YouTube channel to WATCH this episode: https://www.youtube.com/@CrimeHouseDaily If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow Crime House Daily to never miss a case! Danny Masterson, the former That ’70s Show star and longtime Scientologist, is serving 30 years to life for rape and is now trying to overturn his conviction by blaming his attorney and the focus on Scientology. Katie breaks down the allegations, the church’s alleged involvement, the retrial that sent him to prison, and what his new habeas petition claims. Then in Indiana, 32-year-old Alanna Brown spent years insisting her toddler needed a feeding tube while secretly collecting caregiver payments. Friends and the child’s father say they watched the girl eat normally, and once a hidden camera and hospital abuse team stepped in, the case spiraled into suspected Munchausen by proxy, fraud charges, and a fight to keep a 3-year-old safe. Diddy’s federal trial has entered its most explosive phase, and tonight we’re zeroing in on the witness who cracked this case wide open. In Part 2 of our five-episode deep dive, Katie breaks down Cassie Ventura’s harrowing four-day testimony, delivered while she was more than eight months pregnant. Cassie takes the jury through how a 19-year-old rising artist became trapped for over a decade in a world of control, violence, drugs, and the infamous “freak offs,” where she says “no” was never really an option. As the defense tries to reframe the case as just a messy relationship, Cassie’s story pulls back the curtain on what prosecutors call coercion, and sets the stage for the next wave of witnesses still to come. An 11-year-old Slender Man case returns to the headlines when Morgan Geyser cuts off his ankle monitor, escapes a Wisconsin group home, and is found sleeping outside a Chicago truck stop with an older companion he met at church. Katie breaks down how a shared delusion led to the near fatal stabbing of Payton Leutner, Morgan’s years in a state hospital, and what this escape could mean for his future. Then we go to Oakland, where Laney College legend and “Last Chance U” coach John Beam is shot inside the campus field house. A former student with no criminal record is arrested and now talks about witchcraft and conspiracies. Was this targeted, a mental health break, or something no one saw coming? He was hip-hop’s ultimate power broker, until the whispers became lawsuits, raids, and a blockbuster federal case. In Part 1 of our five-episode deep dive, Katie Ring rewinds to the beginning of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ story: the Bad Boy Records rise, early scandals, and the long shadow of allegations that trailed him for decades. Then we track the turning point: Cassie Ventura’s claims, the hotel security footage Diddy allegedly tried to erase, and coordinated searches that seized drugs, weapons, and troves of explicit materials. With fresh court filings, new accusers, and a recent federal sentence on the books, we lay out how an entertainment empire slid into legal freefall. In today’s first case, Katie looks into an assault in Texas, where former NBA guard Patrick Beverley is facing felony charges after police say he choked, dragged and beat his 15-year-old sister. What began as a reprimand spiraled into a full-blown assault that her boyfriend witnessed in real time.  And in South Carolina, an award-winning elementary school teacher secretly showered an 11 year old student with gifts, handwritten letters and unwanted attention: behavior her family didn’t fully uncover until they found a box of sixty “love” notes. Both cases raise the same question: When authority becomes obsession or rage, who protects the child? If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow Crime House Daily to never miss a case! This week in crime history, we revisit two of the most infamous kidnappings that shocked the world. In 1973, 17-year-old John Paul Getty III, grandson of one of the world’s richest men, was freed in southern Italy after five harrowing months in captivity. His ordeal exposed the cold greed and dysfunction of America’s wealthiest family. Then, we travel back to 1927 Los Angeles, where 12-year-old Marion Parker was abducted from her school by a man posing as her father’s coworker. What followed became one of the most gruesome and sensational kidnapping cases in U.S. history. From ransom demands and ruthless criminals to media frenzy and family betrayal, host Vanessa Richardson unpacks how these two abductions defined public obsession with wealth, innocence, and the dark side of desperation. In a courtyard where kids gathered to play, resentment turned deadly. Ajike “AJ” Owens had spent years navigating a neighbor who hurled slurs, made threats, and called police anytime the children stepped outside. After that neighbor injured AJ’s son with a roller skate, AJ walked to her door demanding answers. Susan Lorincz responded with a bullet fired through a locked door. Katie breaks down the case that rejected “stand your ground,” the 25-year sentence, and Netflix’s “The Perfect Neighbor” documentary, which used bodycam footage to show the truth behind the tragedy. A dream backpacking adventure in Southeast Asia ends in tragedy when free shots at a busy Laos hostel leave multiple tourists critically ill and three young women dead, including 19-year-old Australians Holly Morton Bowles and Bianca Jones, while grieving families fight for justice amid silence from local authorities. Later, Katie examines the haunting case of 35-year-old Montana contractor Dustin Kjersem, whose girlfriend discovered his mutilated body in a remote campsite. She initially believed he had been mauled by a bear, only for investigators to uncover a human attacker, white supremacist ties, and a jury that rejected Daren Abbey’s shifting self defense story. In tonight’s Night Watch, Katie breaks down one of Texas’ most haunting cases: the 1991 Yogurt Shop Murders. Four teenage girls were bound, assaulted, shot, and left in a burning yogurt shop, launching a massive task force and decades of fear in the community. Katie traces how investigators turned to the Reid Technique, extracted detailed confessions from four young men, and secured convictions despite a total lack of physical evidence tying them to the scene.  Then, the story flips as new Supreme Court rulings, advanced DNA testing, and a renewed cold case investigation dismantle those confessions and point toward a traveling serial predator. Thirty-four years later, a shell casing, Y-STR testing, genealogy, and a suicide weapon finally converge on one name: Robert Eugene Brashers. In Oklahoma, Katie examines how teenage offender Jesse Butler went from facing nearly a lifetime in prison for brutal attacks on two girls to serving only counseling and community service under youthful offender status, a decision that has neighbors, lawmakers, and classmates calling the system corrupt. Then the focus shifts to Halifax, where Mike Smith, best known as Bubbles on “Trailer Park Boys,” is now under a sexual assault charge for an incident prosecutors say happened in 2017, while production companies, fans, and the alleged victim all await the next move in court. Tonight, Katie revisits the Caroline Flack case from the beginning, tracing her rise through British television to her dream job hosting Love Island UK, and then the December 2019 incident that changed everything. As CPS and the Metropolitan Police pushed forward with a domestic abuse prosecution and the tabloid press portrayed Caroline as a monster, her support system watched her unravel in real time. Katie looks at the evidence, the later findings about serious failings in how the case was handled, and the way Caroline’s story has been reframed by her family in “Search for the Truth,” raising urgent questions about mental health, media ethics and accountability. Tonight, Katie revisits the life of Aileen Wuornos, the abused Michigan girl who grew up hitchhiking, trading sex for survival and cycling through petty crime before becoming one of the most infamous serial killers in Florida history. From a childhood marked by alleged family violence and assault, to a violent string of roadside murders in the late nineteen eighties and early nineteen nineties, Katie traces Wuornos’ path from traumatized runaway to death row inmate, then explores how Hollywood turned her into a cultural obsession, from the film Monster to a new season of the Netflix series “Monster” starring Sarah Paulson as Wuornos. When influencer Brenay Kennard started posting cozy videos with her cousin-in-law, the truth spilled out online before it ever did at home. Those clips eventually became evidence in a North Carolina courtroom, where a jury ruled that Brenay helped unravel another woman’s marriage and ordered her to pay $1.75 million in damages.  Then, Katie examines the case of Olivia Henderson, a DoorDasher whose viral video accusing a customer of exposing himself set off a firestorm—until investigators reviewed the footage, declared the man unconscious, and arrested Olivia on felony unlawful-surveillance charges. Two stories born on TikTok, both ending under the weight of real-world consequences. If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow Crime House Daily to never miss a case! I live in Tazewell county. It’s pronounced (Taz-well). Jim contracted Legionnaires disease from the jail and died on October 6th. The jail released all non-violent criminals due to the outbreak concerns.

You are stating well know facts incorrectly. Had to stop listening when you said the ransom note was found on the kitchen counter. Wtf? It was found on the spiral staircase. Facts are important.

This episode should have been called Elizabeth Smart. Not Patty Hearst. Like so disappointed.
