Description
Saints Church Melbourne is a Christ-centered community dedicated to following Jesus and advancing His Kingdom in Melbourne, Australia. Established in 2020 as a church plant, we embrace the biblical idea and theology of the word 'saints' (Greek: hagios: set apart by (or for) God, holy, sacred) — and as more of a verb than a noun. Our mission is to call, gather, equip, and send saints to live as holy ambassadors, merging the Kingdom of Heaven with the city of Melbourne.

This sermon teaches that fasting is a transformative, embodied practice where believers willingly set themselves apart to depend fully on God, align their desires with His will, and grow into spiritual maturity that looks and lives like Jesus. Fasting doesn’t manipulate God but reshapes us—fueling prayer, forming holiness, awakening spiritual attentiveness, and uniting the church in humility, expectancy, and faith for God to move powerfully among us.Intro and Outro music by artist: Cleb - https://open.spotify.com/artist/4HJTTiOIcuQrhMk83XV8Is?si=_x2whLP3QDmPu0cQkDIPzg

Ps Emma L'Almont shares a message about awakening from spiritual slumber and rediscovering a life fully aligned with Jesus. A call to prayer, purity, and attentiveness in a weary and distracted world.
In this message ps Jimmy goes deeper into pure religion from James 1:27 & Romans 12:1-2 and the necessity of our religion to house the narrative identity of our New Testament reality. If our relationship with Jesus is the essence, the union, the intimacy, then our religion (or practices) are the structure that holds that together and houses it correctly as the temples we are.
The sermon teaches that in Matthew 7:7–12, Jesus invites us to seek God as a good Father who reshapes our desires through prayer. The Golden Rule isn’t about trying harder but about transformed desire—letting God form our hearts so we naturally love others.
In this message ps Jimmy shares from 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 and the necessity of our religion to house the narrative identity of our New Testament reality. If our relationship with Jesus is the essence, the union, the intimacy, then our religion (or practices) are the structure that holds that together and houses it correctly as the temples we are.
In this podcast we continue the series: Pure Religion. Ps Deborah talks about being an ambassador, our witness to the world and how we are a hearing people.
We begin a new series based from James 1:27. Pure religion is about restoring relationship — to God (vertical) and neighbour (horizontal).
