This episode of The Lion’s Share features Adam Peltier discussing how serving in Israel transformed his understanding of Scripture, the work of HaYovel / The Israel Guys, and a new visitor center in Samaria designed to connect visitors with the land, its people, and the ministry’s understanding of biblical prophecy.
What happens when biblical subjects that seem strange, controversial, or difficult are brought back into the light of Scripture? In this episode of The Lion's Share, the conversation turns to the Nephilim, the Days of Noah, deception, spiritual warfare, biblical prophecy, and the importance of knowing the Word of God for yourself. The discussion begins with the importance of taking Scripture seriously—including difficult passages such as Genesis 6 and the account of the Nephilim. The speakers discuss how the first-century believers understood supernatural events, spiritual gifts, and biblical warnings about deception. They also examine the growing interest in UAPs and extraterrestrial claims and discuss the biblical warning about deception in the last days. Yeshua warned that the last days would resemble the days of Noah, while the New Testament repeatedly warns about apostasy, false doctrine, and deception. The conversation then turns to one of the most important challenges facing believers: Are we allowing Scripture to be our standard for truth—or are our emotions, traditions, fears, and culture determining what we believe? The speakers emphasize the importance of studying the Bible personally and being willing to examine even difficult passages rather than simply dismissing them. The discussion also explores the power of storytelling and media to communicate biblical truth. Instead of being distracted by the "shiny objects" of the world, believers can use the incredible stories already contained in Scripture to point people back to God. The conversation ultimately moves toward the Great Commission. Believers are not simply called to sit in a congregation and listen. They are called to go into their sphere of influence, share the good news of Yeshua, make disciples, and be ready to serve when God opens the door. The episode also looks toward the future, including the speakers' desire to minister in the Middle East, the possibility of a future opportunity for the Gospel to advance, and their belief that God is preparing His people for a coming harvest. The central message is one of preparation: Know the Word. Recognize deception. Be equipped. Hear God's voice. And be ready to go when He says, "Now's the time." As the episode concludes, the focus returns to the Great Commission and the desire to hear the words: "Well done, good and faithful servant."For more teachings, visit Lion and Lamb Ministries. What happens when you travel across Turkey looking for the biblical stories behind some of the world’s most ancient locations? On this episode of The Lion’s Share, Monty Judah welcomes Joshua and Caleb—the Bearded Bible Brothers—back to the program after their major expedition through Turkey.Their journey covered approximately 8,000 kilometers in just over three weeks and took them to some remarkable locations, including the seven churches of Revelation, sites connected to Paul’s missionary journeys, Tarsus, Gobekli Tepe, Haran, Carchemish and Mount Ararat. The conversation explores the biblical significance of Turkey, its role in ancient history and prophecy, and the challenges the team faced while filming in locations where obtaining permits proved difficult. One of the most compelling parts of the discussion centers on the Nephilim. Joshua and Caleb explain why they believe the subject deserves serious biblical consideration and how their travels through ancient locations influenced their understanding of the subject.Monty Judah also brings his own history with the subject of Noah’s Ark, explaining his engineering analysis of the Ark and why he describes it as a floating box designed to survive the Flood, rather than a conventional sailing vessel. This episode raises big questions about biblical history, ancient civilizations, Noah’s Ark, the Nephilim and the world described in Scripture.
Are UFOs really extraterrestrial visitors—or could there be a spiritual dimension behind some of the phenomena people are experiencing? In this episode of The Lion's Share, Derek Warfel and Monty continue their fascinating discussion about UFOs, UAPs, spiritual deception, fallen angels, demons, biblical prophecy, and the end times. The conversation begins with reports of unidentified flying objects and the question of whether these phenomena should be understood as visitors from another galaxy.Derek presents the view that what many people interpret as extraterrestrial encounters may actually involve interdimensional or spiritual beings and warns that the apparent helpfulness of some encounters should not automatically be interpreted as benevolent. The discussion then moves into reports of missing time, unusual experiences, alleged manipulation, and the mysterious characteristics of some UAP encounters. The speakers consider whether some reported phenomena could involve something beyond the physical world. One of the central questions of the interview is:What if the phenomenon is spiritual rather than extraterrestrial? The conversation explores the possibility that reported “gray aliens” could be something other than biological extraterrestrials, including the speculative idea that some could function as avatars or remotely controlled entities. The speakers acknowledge that there is much they do not know while emphasizing the importance of biblical discernment. The discussion then turns to one of the most important themes of the episode:Test the spirits. The speakers examine teachings associated with UFO encounters and compare them with biblical beliefs about God, sin, judgment, salvation, Messiah, and humanity's relationship with God.They also discuss the biblical warning that even supernatural appearances can be deceptive and emphasize the need to evaluate spiritual experiences by their fruit and their teachings, rather than simply by their appearance.Another major topic is deliberate contact with the supernatural. The interview discusses practices such as Ouija boards, séances, tarot readings, and attempts to contact alleged extraterrestrial beings. The speakers argue that deliberately pursuing supernatural encounters can expose people to spiritual danger. The final portion of the program moves into end-times prophecy and spiritual warfare. The speakers discuss the restraint of evil, the possibility of increased spiritual activity in the last days, the Book of Job, Revelation, Daniel, Jacob's Trouble, and the spiritual forces that may operate behind earthly events. The episode ultimately returns to the importance of remaining grounded in Scripture and being careful about drawing conclusions from unexplained phenomena. There may be things we don't understand—but believers are still called to test, discern, and remain faithful to God.Watch the full conversation and decide for yourself what questions UFOs and UAPs raise about the supernatural world, spiritual deception, and biblical prophecy.
