We loved hearing from Braylon–growing up playing football and his journey to UT. Braylon walks us through a typical week of training and gives us truth about how to cope with performance anxiety. Braylon loves the Lord with his whole heart. He shares how God has shifted his mindset around football to focus on Him and pouring into his teammates.

After hearing about her typical day of training, we were humbled to say the least. On top of being a killer athlete, Kelly's joyful demeanor makes her all the more special! This Saturday morning, we are joined by Craig Becker, a former UT athlete currently running at Arkansas State University! Craig shares his running story with us, as well as some Godly wisdom. Through the vallies of injury, Craig has experienced the most growth in his faith, and he explains to us what true dependence looks like!
Our first guest back is Nike NIL athlete and BYU standout, Jenna Hutchins. It was such a treat to sit down and chat with one of the most talented runners to come out of the state of Tennessee. We dive into Jenna's running story and her journey to BYU. Jenna is highly disciplined and gets through her most strenuous training blocks by making her hard days her favorite days! This is such an important mindset, and we loved hearing Jenna's take on it!

This week, we welcome Will Jeter to the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast! Will is one of the Tennessee Running Club's finest and currently works as a chemical engineer. He gives us his running background, talks about the pains of burnout, and shares how he found love for the sport again. As Stacy says, Will has caught the "marathon bug," so we jump into talking about his current racing and training. He is yet another incredible Boston Marathoner. Will also delves into what running means to him on a deeper level, reminding us that God's power is made perfect in our weakness. We can't wait for you to give this episode a listen!
Another new friend joins us on the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast, Katie Baksa! Katie wears many hats as a runner, mom, and entrepreneur. She tells us about her journey as a runner, including her breakout race at the Chicago Marathon in 2019, as well as working toward a time qualifying her for the Olympic Trials. Katie is also the mom of two girls and has a heart for pouring into the youth! She is the founder of Bound Running, which was started with the goal of designing the perfect running shorts. Your winner of the Covenant Health Knoxville Half Marathon, Chase Bulten, joins us on this week's episode of the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast! Chase coaches distance running at Campbellsville University in Kentucky and just made his debut at the Boston Marathon this past Monday! We dive into Chase's early running career and how he found his way to coaching. He shares his perspective on the changing state of college athletics and discusses what he looks for in high school runners wanting to take their sport to the next level. Chase's approach as a coach is centered around how he can develop the next generation of athletes, not necessarily the level they are at when they are being recruited. His view on this subject is refreshing, and we're so excited for you to tune in!
It's a special Saturday because we sit down with our good friend, Alex Morgan. No, not the soccer player, but Blount County's very own. Alex is the head cross country and track coach at Heritage High School, head cross country coach at Heritage Middle School, and an assistant on their track team. He also has an impressive running history of his own. We discuss a wide range of topics, but Alex hones in on the priority that coaching takes in his life. He pours into his athletes, serves with a humble heart, and demonstrates loyalty to no end. Our words, not his! Coaching truly is his ministry, and our community is so lucky to have him!
The sweetest girl ever joins the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast this week! Zoe Arrington brings the smiles, laughter, and truth. She explains her breakout high school running career, how it led her to running collegiately, and her transfer process. We loved hearing how the Lord so faithfully carried Zoe through one of the hardest seasons of her life, refining her in ways that would otherwise be impossible. Zoe says "sometimes your biggest blessings come after your biggest trials," and we could not agree more!
We've got a fun guest for y'all this week, former TRC president and Gavin's son?? Ransom Lester! In this week's episode of the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast, we hear from Ransom about running's place in his life and his experience as president of the Tennessee Running Club! Ransom is one of the friendliest faces on Tennessee's campus, and he discusses the importance of being welcoming, specifically by remembering people's names.
Our girl, Andie-Marie, FINALLY makes her debut on the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast! This episode is filled with storytimes and testimonials explaining how Andie got to where she is today, as a Lady Vol distance runner and star student. She reminds us all that running is a gift! In this week's episode of the Saturday Morning Run Club Podcast, we sit down with our friend, Robbie Romano. Robbie has run since high school, which led him to join the men's cross country and track team at Frostburg State University in Maryland. Since graduating college, Robbie has delved into coaching both high school and collegiate running, along with pursuing a career in mechanical engineering and running the Boston Marathon. Coach Robbie reminds us that consistency is key and "If you want to be a better runner, you've got to be the one that recovers the best."

Fern and Saylor have been besties since the first week of freshman year, so the three of us sit down to debrief our CRAZY college experience together.
