Wow it has been a while. I am back with a longtime amazing pal of mine. So excited about this episode. Ariana (aka Twin - you will understand when you listen) and I had the most raw, impactful, deep conversation as we come to terms with all that has happened from adolescence to the toddler stage of adulthood. This episode really allows you to see and feel how much it has taken to rebuild. We have both redefined many parts of our lives and it has allowed us to become so emotionally mature. I cannot believe this is episode 10. We are officially in the double digits. Finally got to sit down and talk with a special someone who has been in my life for over a decade now. Justin is truly the most amazing person, the most present friend - he is my family. I could not see my life without him. He has seen me go through all the highs and all the lows. I am so thankful we were able to do this and discuss moving out, dealing with loved ones passing away, and overall, just pushing through adulthood. I hope you guys enjoy the episode. If you asked me two years ago about this exact moment being a reality, I wouldn't be able to believe you. Kaylin isn't just any person in my life. She is the first friend I made when I moved into a new town more than ten years ago. She is the one person who has truly taught me the power of forgiveness and how to communicate what is going on in my mind. We are polar opposites that have been through so much but no matter what we stay a unit. She is truly an inspiration, and I am forever grateful to have her in my life. The first day I met Angie, I knew she would be a soul I would never forget. There was a lot of my childhood and adolescence that reminded me of her - it was very relatable. We are back after a month - March had a lot going on but don't worry I was still recording. This episode with my pal Casey really speaks to all the women that have to make a hard decision to leave someone and start new. It can be scary, but Casey has taught me so much about taking your power back and doing what is best for you. I was pretty sick during this episode, so my voice struggled in some parts, but we made it work. The moment we have been waiting for has finally come. This episode was a moment my 18-year-old sister and I will never forget. We have a sisterhood unlike any other that I have ever seen. My best friend, confidant, my other half, the only person I ever want to be around shares life growing up with me from her POV. This episode holds a special place in my heart. Sitting down with the most wonderful kids to talk about real life, stress during sports, or just misunderstandings between them and adults was powerful.
