I wanted to give you an update of what has been going on and how it will affect my shows, both An Older Gay Guy Show podcast and the Jockstrap Stories podcast, through the end of the year.
In this episode I share some various points we might want to think about if we are attracted to someone 15 or more years older/younger than ourselves. I tried to look at the positive as well as the negative in this presentation. The episode concludes with some Reddit comments on the subject. This concludes Sweeps Period 2025! Thank you for joining me.
Continuing on where we left off in Part 1, Joefer and I talk about other Vintage TV Shows that we grew up with and loved. Joefer's Art on Instagram Joefer's YouTube Show
A news bulletin about something coming up in my life.
Today I am joined by a wonderful, yet cranky, gentleman who has a popular YouTube Channel named 'The Cranky Old Gay Guy Show'. Joefer joins me for a two-part episode series discussing our favorite vintage tv shows that we grew up with (Joefer is 5 years younger than myself, so we watched many of the same shows). visit The Cranky Old Gay Guy Show on YouTube !

Continuing 2025 Sweeps, we have another Reddit Stories episode, this time the sub-Reddit is called 'I Can't Believe I Did That!'
Continuing with Sweeps Period 2025, we have Part 2 of a 3-Part Series with JoJo Bear. JoJo is a Somatic Sex & Intimacy Educator in the San Francisco Bay area. JoJo uses somatic coaching, sexological bodywork, and hypnotherapy as tools to help people get out of their "heads" and into their bodies! Continuing Sweeps 2025, I know that many of you have not had the opportunity to ever listen to the Jockstrap Stories podcast. I have used that show to put out my two novels as audiobooks. My original book Northridge High Football Camp, is on the podcast in its 12-chapter entirety. I just started putting out the first chapters of the sequel book, the 20-chapter The Guys of Northridge which picks up 10 months after the conclusion of the first book. This is a more comphrehensive book in that it takes the original 6 characters and gives them their own backstories and adventures, giving you a deeper understanding of the characters and their motivations. I hope you enjoy this peek at the new book. Thanks so much for listening to it!

Continuing where 'A Day That Changed My Life' left off which had discussed my Elementary and Junior High experiences, this concludes with stories about my Senior High School days. From my social life picking up when I joined the Music and Drama Departments, to my first car and the problems that developed from my too frequent skipping of school, these four years began to form who I ultimately became and taught me important life lessons. In this episode I tell a STORYTIME about something that happened to me in the late 90's. I hesitated to tell this story because almost all of my friends thought I was being an idiot. While I often cop to being an idiot, perhaps in this story I wasn't one? I do ask for your opinion if your podcast player allows comments. If not, you can reach me at AnOlderGayGuyShow@gmail.com. Have you started feeling invisible to those around you as you age? Are you not getting the kind of attention from people as you did when you were younger? This is a Reddit Stories episode discussing this issue.
In this episode, I have another INTERVIEW with LGBTQ+ musician James Taylor Jr., and we discuss his new gay anthem Remember. Link to James' Website REMEMBER
I have told you many stories about my life. But what I haven't told you is there was a series of events that occured that laid the groundwork for many things to come in my life. I am not proud of what happened, but in hindsight maybe it was all for the best. This talks about my life in elementary school and Junior High School. I will do a second part to this talking about my High School experiences in another episode.
Today's episode is a reply to an email that I got concerning the last episode titled "Have 100 Orgasms Every Single Day!". Are you an older gay guy that is confused and anxious that you need to learn all the new pronouns? It seems they change all the time. How is one to learn how to navigate this new set of rules??
We all want to shoot our spunk more. Instead of relying on another guy, or endlessly looking for the right porn to get us off, what if you could have an orgasm multiple times per day automatically? You don't even have to try. It just happens. Sounds amazing, doesn't it? Well, maybe not so amazing......
In previous years I had done this STORYTIME's Part 1 & Part 2 (and then deleted them), however, this is the first time I give you the conclusion of this sexually explicit adventure. We pick up right where we left off in Part 2.
Picking up where we left off in the last episode, I tell you what happened once I left my construction job that fateful day when I followed one of my construction buddies home. **This is a very descriptive erotic story. Please be forewarned. **

Something that I have discovered now that I'm a "senior citizen" is that gray hair and wrinkles are not a turn-off to everyone. Some guys like the fact that we're older men. It's not a monetary relationship they're looking for, either. I'm on a fixed income and could never be someone's "sugar daddy". I have been pleasantly surprised that some men like us old guys for who we are and are still turned-on to us sexually. When I was young, I never thought of being a senior in a positive way. I don't know if it was the 1970s and 1980s Tom Selleck gay clone culture I came out in or what. But, things don't seem as prejudiced against age, these days, as it was back then.
You and I are exact contemporaries. Our experiences in junior high are carbon copies of each other. Thank you for these podcasts.
That was great. Never heard that story before. I'll be checking out the video on YouTube. Thanks for the links. I'm a new subscriber and am in the process of listening to ALL of the previous podcasts. That may sound like a daunting task, but I'm 65 and newly retired. Your podcasts have become a daily part of my listening ritual and I enjoy them tremendously.
Joey, you and I are exact contemporaries. I, too, was 14 years old in 1972. I can relate well to this program.
Interesting post. I too am immature for my age & like to spend time with maturish young guys. We do pills too. Hug & all
What's your email address? I would like to share my experience on the subject
Sorry...but very very very BORING. Some podcasters are truly wasting your time. Here is an example of one in situ.
This episode is heartbreaking. I've gone through this w/ my dog (I was there until the end), but my cat's passing was during the pandemic and I was unable to be with him. my sincerest condolences to you and Paco.
I love sleeping naked, but I am worried about decal matter
Hi Joey, I just voted for you at podcastawards.com. Your's was the only podcast I recognized in any of the categories (and I listen to roughly 50 or 60 different oodcasts). How did you get on the list of nominees?
love this podcast
Exactly, what I've been wondering? I look forward to hearing this.
The first episode I listened to somehow alluded to Trump's innauguration as a potential return to normalcy for political correctness. Any LGBT podcast decrying political correctness and looking forward to the innauguration as a "return to normal" is not representative of our community's ideals.
