I'd have preferred more of the conversation Bruce was trying to have--extemporaneous and genuine--rather than the contrived, scripted, performative one Obama was having. The whole thing is set up as an informal conversation, yet it has background music, cut-ins of Obama reading old speeches, etc. This podcast can't pick a conceit. Drop the over-wrought stage-management and just record a conversation like normal people have.
