In this episode, I’m talking about the Kajabi Community product and why it’s become a much bigger deal since the recent updates to Kajabi’s plans. With Kajabi’s latest changes, the Community product and unlimited access groups are now included in all plans, from Kickstarter to Pro. Previously, each access group counted against your product quota, which made communities feel expensive or restrictive to use. That limitation is now gone. This change reflects Kajabi’s broader evolution toward better supporting what creators actually need. Community engagement has become essential for anyone building an audience, brand, or online business. What the Kajabi Community Product Is (and Isn’t) The Community product isn’t automatically created for you. If you don’t set it up, it won’t exist in your account. To get started, you’ll need to go into Products in the Kajabi menu and choose either All Products or Community. From there, you can create your Community space. The key thing you’ll need is an access group. Think of an access group as a user group inside your Community. A simple way to begin is to create one access group and treat that as your main community. Anyone in that group will be able to use the Community features you allow.   How Access Groups Work with Offers From a technical perspective, access groups are tied to offers. If you’re selling something in Kajabi and want buyers to access your Community, you’ll add the access group to the list of products included in that offer. When someone completes checkout, they’re automatically added to that access group. Inside the Community, what someone can see or do depends on which access groups they belong to. Because access groups are now unlimited, you can create multiple levels of access without worrying about product limits. Using Community for Free and Paid Engagement One powerful way to use Kajabi Community is as a free entry point for your audience. Instead of relying on Facebook groups or external platforms, you can bring people directly into your Kajabi ecosystem. This means: You automatically collect email addresses Members get used to your platform They already have a login and profile This removes mental barriers later when you want to sell something. Your audience already knows how to access your content, which makes purchasing much easier. On top of a free community tier, you can also create paid tiers. These might include: Weekly coaching or Q&A sessions Exclusive discussions Higher-level engagement or support Each paid tier simply uses a different access group attached to a paid offer. A member can belong to both a free access group and one or more paid access groups at the same time. What You Can Do Inside Kajabi Community The Community product is large and feature-rich, which can feel overwhelming at first. Inside the Community, you can: Chat and direct message members Create forums and discussion threads Send video messages Host group rooms or one-on-one video spaces Run challenges and assign points Use leaderboards Host meetups with RSVP functionality Embed content like pages, courses, websites, or YouTube playlists You can also customise names, emojis, and settings, and create user guidelines that members must agree to when they join. While some users report occasional glitches, many people use the Community product successfully. Kajabi is investing heavily in it, and improvements continue to roll out. How to Test the Community Experience Properly If you’re serious about using Kajabi Community, it’s important to experience it from the user’s perspective. Create an account for yourself as a user and grant that account access to the Community. Make sure you: Use a different email than your Kajabi admin login Log in using a different browser or incognito/private window This prevents admin cookies from interfering with the customer experience and gives you a clear view of how your community actually feels to members. Kajabi’s Updated Mobile App Experience Kajabi has also recently redesigned its mobile app. Instead of having separate apps for courses and Community, everything is now combined into one app. This creates a smoother experience for your customers, especially if they’ve purchased a course that includes community engagement. This update is part of Kajabi’s broader Kajabi Evolved release from September and makes the Community product even more compelling. Final Thoughts If you’re building a community, the Kajabi Community product is absolutely worth exploring. Create an access group, click around, test the features, and see how it fits into your business. I’ll see you next week for more Kajabi tips.
Episode 73 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, I share the free and low-cost tools I use alongside Kajabi to run my business efficiently. I cover Google Search Console and Google Analytics for website insights, cal.com for scheduling, Google Meet for video calls, Loom for video messaging, and Descript for podcast recording and editing. I also touch on Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps, Ahrefs Webmaster Tools for SEO, and the AI tools I use, including Gemini, ChatGPT, and Midjourney. This episode is perfect for anyone looking to keep costs low while building smart systems. Today, I’m stepping slightly outside my usual Kajabi-only focus to share some of the tools I use alongside Kajabi in my business. These are tools I’ve found genuinely helpful, especially if you’re looking to keep costs low while still running things efficiently.   Google Search Console Google Search Console is a free tool provided by Google for anyone who owns a website. It shows you how your site performs in organic search, including which queries people use to find your pages. While it takes a little time to get used to the interface, it’s much simpler than Google Analytics. You can see which pages are bringing in traffic and what search terms are acting as organic traffic magnets. I don’t check it weekly, but every time I log in, I find useful insights—and it’s free.   Google Analytics I also use Google Analytics, although I find it more complicated. The main difference is that Google Analytics shows all traffic sources, including direct visits and referrals, while Google Search Console focuses purely on organic search traffic. If I’m curious about overall site traffic, Google Analytics is where I look.   Calendar Scheduling with cal.com For scheduling, I use cal.com. I used to use Calendly and loved it, but I eventually asked myself why I was paying a monthly fee when I didn’t need to. cal.com has a very robust free plan, an easy-to-use interface, and does everything I need. If you want a powerful calendar tool without paying $10–$12 a month, this is a great alternative.   Video Conferencing with Google Meet I previously used Zoom, but for the same reason, I stopped paying for it. Since I already use Google Workspace, Google Meet fits perfectly into my workflow and works well for all my video conferencing needs.   Video Messaging with Loom One tool I do pay for is Loom. It’s excellent for recording short video messages, screen sharing, and walking clients through work I’ve completed. The AI features are helpful, the Chrome extension works smoothly, and the interface is simple. It saves me time when I don’t feel like typing long emails.   Podcast Recording & Editing with Descript I record and edit this podcast using Descript. It’s one of the more expensive tools I use, but it’s worth it. It makes podcast editing easy, efficient, and intuitive, and the AI features are very strong.   Heatmaps with Microsoft Clarity I recently discovered Microsoft Clarity, which I haven’t fully started using yet. It works like a heatmap tool—similar to Hotjar—but it’s completely free. It allows you to see how visitors interact with your pages, which I’m excited to explore without having to pay for premium heatmap software.   SEO Insights with Ahrefs Webmaster Tools If you’re interested in SEO, Ahrefs offers a free Webmaster Tools account. It’s a limited version of their full product, but still incredibly useful. You can see keyword data, backlinks, and estimated traffic. Compared to paid tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush, this free option is a great starting point. You can usually find it via the Ahrefs footer links or by searching “Ahrefs Webmaster Tools.”   AI Tools I Use For AI, I primarily use Gemini, which is included with my Google Workspace account. I also use ChatGPT from time to time. For images, I enjoy using Midjourney. While it creates impressive visuals, I’m still learning how to get exactly what I want from it—but it’s fun to experiment with.   Final Thoughts Kajabi covers most of my business needs, so I only use a few additional tools to fill in the gaps. I wanted to share these options because many people are just getting started and don’t want to spend much money. Between free tools like cal.com, Google Meet, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, and Ahrefs Webmaster Tools, you can build a solid setup without a big monthly budget. I’ll be back next week with more Kajabi-focused content.
Episode 72 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we review how Kajabi’s third-party transaction fees work, including when they apply and how much each plan is charged if you use Stripe. I also explain why Kajabi Payments or PayPal are often the better choice, especially on the Kickstarter plan. Then, I dive into Kajabi’s new cohort-based courses, highlighting how they allow you to manage multiple groups within one course. I also cover the new calendar-based drip scheduling feature, which makes planning live and group programmes much easier.   I’ve got some things that may help you with Kajabi: Kajabi in 5 Minutes YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Kajabiin5Minutes Kajabi 30 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/30days-kajabi Kajabi Blog: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/blog Kajabi Code course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/code Kajabi SEO course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/seo   These next promotions are only active for a short time throughout the year 3 Months for $99: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/3months-for-99 60 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/60-day-trial 50% off for 12 Months: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/kajabi-half-price Episode Overview Introduction Welcome to Kajabi in 5 Minutes, where we break down Kajabi updates and features in quick, practical episodes. In this episode, we clarify Kajabi’s transaction fees and explore the powerful new cohort-based course feature, including how calendar-based drip scheduling works for group programmes.    Third-Party Payment Processing Fees Explained In this episode, I want to clarify two things I’ve mentioned before but didn’t fully explain. One of them involves a change (or possibly a correction) around Kajabi’s pricing and transaction fees. With Kajabi’s newer plans, there are third-party payment processing transaction fees. This applies when you use Stripe as a standalone payment processor, rather than Kajabi Payments. To be clear, this transaction fee is charged by Kajabi, not Stripe, and it is separate from Stripe’s own processing fees. When these plans were first released, I previously said that transaction fees applied if you didn’t use Kajabi Payments. However, that’s not entirely accurate. If you use Kajabi Payments or PayPal, you are not charged these transaction fees. The fee only applies if you are using Stripe.   Kajabi Transaction Fees by Plan Here’s how the transaction fees break down if you use Stripe: Kickstarter Plan: 5% Basic Plan: 2% Growth Plan: 1% Pro Plan: 0.5% If you’re on the Kickstarter plan, that 5% fee is significant. In most cases, there’s no real reason to use Stripe instead of Kajabi Payments on this plan. Using Kajabi Payments (or PayPal, if you prefer) helps you avoid this fee altogether. I’m not entirely sure whether Kajabi changed this after launch or if I initially misunderstood the setup, but this is how it works now.   Introducing Cohort-Based Courses in Kajabi Now for the more exciting update: cohort-based courses. A cohort-based course is a new type of Kajabi course product that allows you to organise content into folders, with each folder representing a specific group or cohort going through the course at the same time. This is especially powerful if you run live launches or group programmes where everyone starts together, follows the same timeline, and completes the experience as a group. Instead of creating a brand-new course for each launch, you can use one course product and manage multiple cohorts inside it.   Why Cohort-Based Courses Are So Powerful Each cohort folder gives you full control over the content for that specific group. You can: Add or remove lessons for one cohort without affecting others Upload recordings of live sessions directly into that cohort Ensure future cohorts don’t see content from previous groups This makes it incredibly flexible if your programme evolves over time.   Calendar-Based Drip Scheduling One feature I didn’t highlight before is how drip scheduling works differently in cohort-based courses. Instead of dripping content based on the number of days since someone enrolled, content is released based on specific calendar dates. This is a game-changer for planning. If holidays, breaks, or schedule changes come up, you don’t need to recalculate drip delays. You simply choose the date you want each module to open. For example, if you want Module 1 to open on 13 July, you set that date—and that’s it. This makes it much easier to map out content releases when you’re guiding a group through a live or semi-live experience.   Final Thoughts Cohort-based courses are a powerful enhancement to Kajabi, especially for creators running live group programmes. Combined with calendar-based drip scheduling, they make course delivery far more flexible and organised. Tune in next week for more Kajabi tips and updates.

Today, I'm going to be talking about the Pro plan in Kajabi. The Pro plan is a powerful package priced at $400 a month. If you choose the annual payment option, you get a 20% discount, which brings the cost down to $319 per month. This plan is designed for large businesses with up to 100,000 contacts. If you have a huge email list and many customers, this plan could be a good fit despite the cost.   Pricing and Discounts The Pro plan costs $400 monthly, but opting for annual billing reduces this by 20%, effectively bringing it down to $319 per month. This pricing is suitable for businesses with large email lists, as higher costs can be justified by the volume of customers and sales you manage through Kajabi.   Kajabi Pro Plan Overview In the Pro plan, besides the contact limit of 100,000, you get unlimited products — a big upgrade from the previous 100-product limit and the Growth plan’s 50-product cap. This means you'll have almost unlimited selling options. You also get three communities with unlimited access groups, corresponding to the three websites Kajabi allows with this plan. This setup is ideal if you're running multiple websites or businesses all from one account. The Pro plan supports up to three businesses at once, making it a great value if you manage multiple ventures.   Key Features and Benefits of Kajabi Pro Plan A dedicated success manager is included, providing personalized support. The plan also grants API access, enabling advanced integrations and automation. Additionally, the branded mobile app, worth $199 per month as an add-on, is included free of charge. This feature enhances user engagement through a native mobile experience. You also receive all Growth plan features like cohort courses, a universal inbox, and Comment to DM functionality. The code editor allows for deep customization if you have development skills on your team. A new addition is video transcription and translation capabilities, making your content accessible to a broader, multilingual audience.   Conclusion The Pro plan is essentially like having three Kajabi accounts in one, plus premium extras like the branded app, API access, video transcription and translation, and the code editor—all for $499 a month. While it may seem expensive, for businesses that need all these features, it’s a competitive and valuable option. Episode 70 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we review the Kajabi Evolved Growth plan featuring a $40 price increase, increased product limits from 15 to 50, and new features like cohort courses and Universal Inbox for improved engagement. Unlimited access groups and a standard community are included, offering more flexibility. Today’s focus is on the new Growth plan, part of a big update Kajabi made to all their plans and features in September 2025. This update is significant, especially for the Growth plan.   Price Increase The most noticeable change is the price increase by about $40. The new monthly price is $249, with a 20% discount for annual payments, making it effectively $199 per month. This is the first price increase Kajabi has made since they started, reflecting many improvements along with some limits being rearranged.   Increased Product Limits The biggest limit increase in the Growth plan is for products, rising from 15 to 50. This increase is fantastic for creators wanting to build extensive course and coaching offers, including private podcasts as part of memberships. This gives plenty of room to experiment and expand.   Community and Access Groups in Kajabi Growth Plan Another major change, which applies across all Kajabi plans, is that a community is now standard and does not count as one of your products. Plus, unlimited access groups are included. This change benefits users who want tiered content and access, as previously they had to use multiple products solely for the community. This update creates many new possibilities for all Kajabi users.   New Features: Cohort Courses, Comment to DM, and Universal Inbox The Growth plan now includes exciting features like cohort courses, Comment to DM, and the Universal Inbox. These tools are designed to make it easier for creators to engage with their audience and manage interactions. The Universal Inbox integrates Facebook and Instagram comments into Kajabi, while Comment to DM allows automations to message users directly based on comments, simplifying engagement. Cohort courses are ideal for group-based programs where the same course serves different groups with their own areas and content. This allows coaches to keep session recordings and content separate for each cohort easily.   Recommendation to Upgrade Unlike the Basic plan, the Growth plan’s new version is a clear upgrade from the legacy plan, with all features improved. Despite the $40 price increase, upgrading is beneficial. Users can upgrade via Settings > Billing, where a side-by-side comparison helps choose plans, and billing is prorated immediately.   Conclusion and Trial Offer The new Growth plan is an excellent option, providing up to 50 products, unlimited access groups, cohort courses, and enhanced engagement tools. It offers lots of opportunities to grow your business. For a 30-day free trial, visit thecoachsupport.com, where additional affiliate support is available to help flatten the Kajabi learning curve and enhance your experience. Thanks for listening, and see you in the next episode.
Episode 69 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we review the new Kajabi Evolved Basic plan which reduces the contact limit from 10,000 to 2,500 but increases the product allowance from three to five. It includes unlimited community access groups, a better customer app, and retains essential features like unlimited landing pages, funnels, and marketing emails. Legacy users keep their current features but will face a price increase from January 13th, 2026. The plan emphasizes product flexibility over list growth, offering good value for established businesses with moderate contact lists.   I’ve got some things that may help you with Kajabi: Kajabi in 5 Minutes YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Kajabiin5Minutes Kajabi 30 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/30days-kajabi Kajabi Blog: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/blog Kajabi Code course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/code Kajabi SEO course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/seo   These next promotions are only active for a short time throughout the year 3 Months for $99: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/3months-for-99 60 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/60-day-trial 50% off for 12 Months: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/kajabi-half-price Episode Overview Introduction to the new Kajabi Evolved Basic Plan Kajabi has launched a new Evolved Basic plan with significant changes. The most notable adjustment is the reduction in allowed contacts from 10,000 in the old Basic plan to 2,500 in the new version. This change impacts users with larger contact lists, who must decide whether to pay an additional $100 to upgrade to the Growth plan or stay on their Legacy Basic plan with a price increase. Starting January 13th, 2026, even Legacy users will face a $30 price increase, making the new Basic plan cost $179 per month.   Enhanced Product and Community Features in Kajabi Basic Plan The new Basic plan increases the product limit from three to five, giving users more flexibility. Additionally, the community feature is now standard across all plans with unlimited access groups and no longer counts against the product limit. Previously, the community counted as a product, but now it is a separate feature which adds significant value for Basic plan users.   Focus on Customer Engagement Kajabi's new structure emphasizes customer and audience engagement. By making communities and unlimited access groups standard, the platform encourages interactive user experiences. The increased product allowance allows for more diverse offerings, such as adding private podcasts alongside courses or coaching programs. This flexibility benefits creators who deliver diverse content formats, including audio and video lessons.   Improved Customer Mobile App All plans, including Basic, received an improved Kajabi app for customers. This app enables users to access communities, coaching, podcasts, and courses all in one place. The upgraded app experience enhances customer interaction and convenience, benefiting both creators and their audiences.   Key Features Summary for the Kajabi Basic Plan 2,500 contacts limit Five products allowed Community with unlimited access groups (does not count as product) Unlimited landing pages and funnels Marketing emails and custom domain included Kajabi support and AI-powered creator studio features Ideal for businesses with established contact lists over 250 people but below 2,500   Flexibility with A La Carte Options Kajabi introduced an A La Carte feature allowing users to purchase additional quota limits for specific areas, such as website limits. While it’s unclear if contact limits can be increased this way, users can explore paying extra only for what they need without upgrading the entire plan. This offers a helpful middle ground for businesses with fluctuating needs.   Considerations for Legacy Users Legacy Basic plan users with contact lists above 2,500 have a choice: remain on the Legacy plan but pay $30 more monthly starting January 13, 2026, or upgrade to the Growth plan for additional contacts. Staying Legacy means keeping the current limits but at a higher cost. This change represents a shift from prioritizing list growth to focusing on product creation and diversification within the new Basic plan.   Conclusion The new Kajabi Evolved Basic plan represents a strategic shift that balances product flexibility with a more modest contact limit, making it a solid choice for businesses focused on expanding their offerings rather than aggressively growing their lists. While legacy users face some cost increases, the enhanced community features and improved app experience add significant value. Overall, this plan suits entrepreneurs and creators seeking to deepen engagement with their audience through diverse products and community interaction, while still maintaining essential marketing and support features. The upcoming discussion on the Growth plan will help those aiming for larger-scale expansion make informed decisions.

Today, I'm going to be talking about Kajabi's new evolved Kickstarter plan. The Kickstarter plan is a great option if you are new to Kajabi or just starting your business online, or even if you are simply bringing an aspect of your business online. The Kickstarter plan could really be the answer for you.   Pricing and Key Updates The pricing remains the same at $89 a month or the equivalent of $71 a month if you pay annually. The main change is that you now get unlimited marketing emails and unlimited access groups in your community. Other than that, the plan has stayed the same. Kajabi's other plans changed quite a bit, but the Kickstarter plan was already really good to begin with.   Features of the Kickstarter Plan Kajabi introduced the Kickstarter plan earlier this year. It aligns well with Kajabi's strategic realignment focusing on serving the creator industry better. With the Kickstarter plan, you get one product and the community as a product, plus unlimited access groups. You also get unlimited emails, unlimited landing pages, unlimited funnels, Kajabi support, and all the training material via Kajabi University. Additionally, the plan includes Kajabi AI features, the Creator Studio, and access to add-ons like Common Ninja widgets and chatbots. However, you're limited to 250 people on your email list.   Limitations and Purpose The key limitation is the 250-contact email list size, which is not very large. But this is suitable when you're just starting, growing your list, and working towards making initial sales and establishing your presence online. This low-priced plan is great for beginners. You can even start with a 30-day free trial on the Kickstarter plan without needing to choose Basic, Growth, or Pro plans.   Getting Started and Bonuses Kajabi provides an easy and affordable entry point with many benefits in the Kickstarter plan. If that sounds like a good fit for your business, I encourage you to visit my website, thecoachsupport.com/bonuses. There, you can find bonuses I offer to those who sign up through my referral links. As a Kajabi affiliate, I earn a commission for referrals, and I provide extra support to help you get started smoothly.   Conclusion When starting out, this support can flatten the learning curve and greatly improve your experience with Kajabi. It helps you determine if Kajabi is right for you within the 30-day trial without any upfront commitment. I’m here to help those who sign up through my links, making it a win-win for everyone. Today I'm going to be talking about Kajabi Evolved, and the changes in the plans and pricing. Specifically, what's going to be happening for Legacy users and, are there any options?   Pricing Changes in Kajabi Now your pricing is going to change. And so if you don't want to take advantage of the new stuff, and you might be thinking, why would I not want to? And there is a reason that you may not want to, and I'll get to that. But, if you don't want to, you don't have to opt into a new plan. You can keep your Legacy plan. And what I mean by that is all of this stuff in it.    Kajabi Basic Plan Changes So if you're a Basic user, you've got three products, you've got 10,000 contacts, blah, blah, blah. That's your plan. That's what you keep. And on January 13th, I believe, 2026, you will, even though you're a Legacy plan user, pay the new plan prices. And so, let's just talk about the pricing changes. If you're in a Kickstarter plan, the prices are staying the same. It's still $89 a month, or 71 a month if you're paying annually. The Basic plan went up about $30. So instead of it being 149 a month, it's now 179 a month. You still get your 20% annual discount through all the plans that didn't change.   Kajabi Growth Plan Changes If you're a Growth plan user, your price is going to go up about $40. Instead of it being 199, it's now 249.    Kajabi Pro Plan Changes And if you're a pro user, the price goes up a hundred bucks, from 399 to 499. And those are the price jumps.   If you want really specific details about this, you can go to Kajabi's page, kajabi.com/pricing, or you can go to my blog post about this. I just updated my blog post, thecoachsupport.com/blog. You can see it's the top article there, "Kajabi Pricing." I go into a lot of details about what's different, what the plans are, and the price and all of that, so you can check that out if you're interested. I'll put a link to my blog article and Kajabi's pricing page in the show notes.   Conclusion Kajabi has introduced significant updates with Kajabi Evolved, bringing new features, pricing adjustments, and plan changes that impact both new and Legacy users. This evolution offers enhanced flexibility but also means price increases across various tiers, particularly affecting those on the Basic plan with larger contact lists. Legacy users have the option to upgrade to new plans or maintain their current ones while facing updated pricing from January 2026. It’s important to evaluate your usage and needs carefully to choose the best fit, especially with options for a la carte upgrades available. Stay tuned for more detailed breakdowns of each plan in upcoming episodes and consult the available online resources for further guidance.

The offer and checkout pages received a big redesign, marking a significant shift from the old, limited checkout box to a fully customizable page editor that mirrors the landing page builder experience.   New Offer Settings and Templates In the offer settings, you can now manage checkout form fields such as name, email, and custom fields. Button text and colors are configurable directly in settings. Kajabi also introduced template uploading, allowing for further design customization similar to landing pages and products. Legacy settings like gift offers, affiliate activations, and notifications remain accessible.   Checkout Page Editor: Greater Flexibility Editing the checkout page has transformed into a landing page-style experience. Users can add, rearrange, or customize sections and blocks, including a unique checkout section with pricing, credit card fields, and the payment button. This section’s layout is fully adjustable, with options for mobile and desktop views, providing more creative freedom for a branded, user-friendly checkout.   Options for Legacy Users Legacy users still have access to the old checkout experience and can choose to keep it or activate the new design on individual or all offers. New users will only get the updated checkout experience. Kajabi gives legacy members until January 13th, 2026, to make their transition decisions. In this episode, the final video in the Kajabi Offers series, the focus is on editing the checkout page in the legacy version of Kajabi. This version will only be available until January 13, 2026, after which updated checkout features will take over. If you are using the legacy checkout page, this guide will help you navigate its structure and functionality. Accessing and Navigating the Checkout Page To edit the checkout page, go to Sales > Offers in Kajabi's toolbar, select your offer, then click the "Edit Checkout" button at the top right. If you haven’t opted into the newest Kajabi pricing plans and design, you will still be using this legacy version. The page displays the price on the side, editable content in the center, and a toolbar on the left with three main areas: Page Content, Design, and Additional Settings. Editing Tips and Important Details When making changes through the toolbar, remember to click "Save" as updates don’t auto-refresh on the screen. Take your time exploring each section to understand its options. If you enable a banner for your checkout page, be aware it may not scale well on mobile devices and could be clipped. Test your banner on various screen sizes to ensure it displays properly. In the Additional Settings, you can control login requirements, mobile layout preferences (whether price or sales copy appears first on mobile), and footer information. Login and Password Collection Settings Under login requirements, you can either force returning members to log in or make login optional. If you do require logins, you can choose to collect new member passwords right on the checkout page or after purchase via a popup. The recommended approach is to leave password creation for after purchase, so it doesn’t interfere with the buying process and reduce friction. Customer Experience Features At the bottom of the checkout page content section is a testimonials area, though it can be somewhat clunky to manage. Beyond adding testimonials, customization options are limited, so focus on clear presentation and smooth customer experience. Advanced Design with HTML and AI Help For further styling control, you can use the text box’s source code editor (the <> icon) to view and copy the HTML. Pasting this code into an AI tool with instructions to improve the design can be a quick way to enhance your checkout content’s look. Then, paste the improved HTML back into the text box for better styling. Conclusion This episode wraps up the Kajabi Offers series focusing on how to optimize the legacy checkout page experience. Upcoming videos will cover the new Kajabi features launched after September 2025. Thank you for listening and tuning into these weekly Kajabi tips.

Today’s focus is on the cross-sell section in Kajabi offers. After many episodes about offers, we're wrapping things up soon, which is great news. Kajabi recently released an update with lots of design changes, especially to the checkout page, but I won’t cover those today as I need to explore them first. You can check Kajabi’s pricing page for the latest updates. For now, we’re diving into cross-sells in the offers area. Navigating Cross-Selling in Offers To find cross-selling, go to Sales > Offers and select your offer. At the top, you’ll see tabs for Details, Pricing, and Cross-Selling (formerly called Upsells). This area allows you to add order bumps and cross-sells or down-sells, but these must be linked to other existing offers. For example, if you have main Offer A, you can bump or cross-sell Offers B, C, or D, which are created separately. Using Offers for Cross-Selling and Bumps If Offers B, C, and D are only for cross-selling or bumping and won't appear as checkout pages on their own, you only need to set the basics like pricing, automations, and product availability. You don’t need to fully edit their checkout pages for cross-selling purposes. What is a Bump? A bump is a small add-on checkbox on Offer A’s checkout page. After you enable the bump feature, a box appears where customers can add Offer B (or C or D) to their main purchase with a simple checkbox. This works well for adding things like extra coaching sessions or membership features. You add a short description next to the box. This feature makes it easy for customers to add something extra without navigating away or re-entering payment details. Upsells and Downsells Explained Upsells and downsells work similarly but appear as popups after the initial purchase. When a customer buys Offer A and clicks the purchase button, an upsell popup can appear offering an additional Offer B, C, or D. The customer can accept the upsell without re-entering payment or contact info or decline it. If they decline, a downsell offer can then appear as another option. You can chain multiple downsells, but this might annoy customers. Setting Up and Previewing Upsells To set an upsell, click Get Started in the cross-sell section, choose the offer to upsell, customize the popup with text and even a video, save it, then preview what the customer will see. Adjust the content as needed and preview again until satisfied. This ensures the upsell popup looks and feels right after purchase. Conclusion Cross-sells, bumps, upsells, and downsells are powerful sales tools within Kajabi offers that help increase revenue by presenting additional purchase options to customers at strategic points in the buying process. Order bumps allow customers to add complementary products with a simple checkbox during checkout, making it easy to increase the average order value. Upsells offer customers a related or upgraded product immediately after their initial purchase, without requiring them to re-enter payment details. Downsells provide an alternative, often lower-priced, offer if the upsell is declined, helping capture sales that might otherwise be lost. Using these features effectively can boost conversions and maximize sales in Kajabi.   Thanks for listening! Next week, we’ll finally jump into editing the Kajabi Offer checkout page, which will wrap up this entire offer series. See you then!
Episode 63 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we explore how to use Kajabi's limited quantity and limited time features on offer pages to boost urgency and manage promotions—helping creators control the availability of their digital products or seats, set expirations, and drive demand with dynamic sales strategies.   I’ve got some things that may help you with Kajabi: Kajabi in 5 Minutes YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Kajabiin5Minutes Kajabi 30 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/30days-kajabi Kajabi Blog: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/blog Kajabi Code course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/code Kajabi SEO course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/seo   These next promotions are only active for a short time throughout the year 3 Months for $99: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/3months-for-99 60 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/60-day-trial 50% off for 12 Months: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/kajabi-half-price Episode Overview Introduction Welcome back to Kajabi in 5 Minutes. In this episode, we discuss the final option in the pricing section of the Kajabi Offer page: limited quantity and limited time functionalities. These features appear at the bottom of the Offer page and allow you to restrict sales based on time or available units, making your promotions more effective and helping prevent overselling. Accessing Limited Quantity & Time Options To use these features, start by opening your Offer in Kajabi. Click on "Pricing" in the menu bar, then scroll to the bottom where you'll find "Offer Availability." Test these features before launching to ensure they work as expected for your specific offer. You can toggle each option on and set your sales limit or expiration date. You also choose what happens after the limit is reached, such as showing a sold-out page or redirecting visitors to a custom landing page. Implementing the Features Kajabi allows you to: Display remaining quantities at checkout to create urgency and inform buyers how many items are left. Show expiration details for limited time offers so customers see when a promotion ends. Redirect customers whose purchase attempts exceed the limits to a sold-out page or custom landing page, where you can provide more information or promote other offers. How These Features Enhance Offers Adding limited quantity or time constraints offers several benefits: Create urgency and scarcity, motivating prompt purchases. Prevent overselling of products, seats, or event tickets. Automate presale and waitlist processes for cohort-based courses or exclusive materials. This added control helps you run strategic promotions without manual oversight. Additional Tips on Coupons While this episode focuses on offer limitations, Kajabi coupons also support expiry dates, enabling additional promotional strategies like limited-time discounts or bonuses. Expect more on coupons in an upcoming episode. Conclusion Limited availability functionalities in Kajabi Offers give creators flexible ways to manage promotions, automate funnel processes, and control sales limits. Experiment with these options to see how they fit your business strategy, and tune in next week for more Kajabi insights.

In today’s episode, we’re diving into Kajabi’s global customer payment settings — the behind-the-scenes tools that shape how your customers manage subscriptions, receive invoices, and experience free trials. While these settings often get overlooked, they play a big role in both your workflow and customer satisfaction. We’ll also explore why Kajabi Payments is often a smarter option compared to PayPal or Stripe, giving you more control and flexibility right inside the platform. Understanding Kajabi Customer Payment Settings Kajabi payment settings are hidden in a powerful but sometimes overlooked spot: Settings → Customer Payments. This area gives you control over important details like invoices, free trial reminders, receipts, and how customers manage subscriptions. One key option here is the ability to enable customers to self-cancel their subscriptions. If this setting is turned off, customers must contact you directly to request cancellation. When it’s activated, customers can cancel their subscriptions from their own account menu — saving you support time and creating a smoother experience.   Free Trial Notifications If you offer free trials, there’s an important setting that lets Kajabi send an automatic email reminder seven days before the trial ends. This can prevent misunderstandings, reduce refunds, and help customers feel more informed about the upcoming charge.   Managing Customer Receipts Kajabi lets you decide whether to: Send receipts for every payment Send receipts for first transactions only Or never send receipts automatically If a customer ever needs a receipt, you can easily generate and send it directly from their profile inside Kajabi. This ensures you still have full control, even if automatic receipts are turned off.   Why Kajabi Payments Is the Better Choice Kajabi offers its own built-in payment provider, and it’s often a better option than PayPal or Stripe for most creators. With Kajabi Payments, you can: Accept credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay Offer pay-later solutions like Afterpay or Klarna Manage transactions, refunds, and payment updates all within Kajabi In contrast, with PayPal, many payment actions must be handled directly in PayPal’s dashboard, which can be frustrating for both you and your customers. With Kajabi Payments, the process is simpler, more centralized, and offers a better customer experience.   Conclusion By understanding and adjusting your global payment settings in Kajabi, you’ll make customer payments, trials, and subscriptions much easier to manage. For creators who want smoother workflows and better customer support interactions, Kajabi Payments is the recommended provider.
Episode 61 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we explore the flexible Offer Pricing options in Kajabi, detailing the differences between one-time payments, payment plans, subscriptions, and free offers, plus features like gift purchases, sales tax, custom price text, and coupons. This episode continues the series on Offers, focusing specifically on Offer Pricing. If you’re just tuning in and have questions about offers, consider checking out previous episodes where we’ve covered the offer area in Kajabi, starting from the details page and working section by section. Offer Pricing Options The Offer Pricing section in Kajabi is highly flexible. There are several options available: One-Time Payment:Customers pay a single fee. You can set the price and currency, enable a “pay what you want” option, or allow buyers to select quantity on the checkout page. There is also a setting that lets customers purchase the offer as a gift—this only works with one-time payment and requires enabling it in the settings area. Sales Tax and Custom Price Text:If your offers integrate with Kajabi Payments, you can also handle sales tax within the pricing details. All payment types allow you to customize the price text that customers see. It’s a good idea to experiment with this feature to see what works best by previewing the checkout page. Payment Plans Payment plans, or multi-pay options, let you set the payment amount, currency, and number of payments. Unlike a subscription, this is a predetermined sum, and the customer is obligated to pay unless a payment fails due to an issue like an expired or canceled card. You can set the number of payments and choose the interval (weekly, monthly, or yearly). There’s also an optional setup fee (charged at checkout) and an optional trial period, which allows access for a set number of days before commitment. Subscription Payments Subscription payments are similar but focus on frequency rather than a fixed number of payments. You specify the payment amount, currency, and how often payments occur (every X weeks, months, or years). Customers can cancel at any time, but they retain access for the remainder of the current payment period. Optional setup fees and trial periods are also available for subscriptions. It’s important to note Kajabi has settings that let users cancel their own subscriptions and other subscription management features, which will be covered in more depth in a future episode. Free and Coupons The last payment type is free, which is straightforward and requires no payment setup. You can add coupons to any payment type except free, offering flexibility for discounts and promotions. Conclusion In the next episode, we’ll dive into some hidden pricing settings that don’t appear on the main offers page, including those related to subscriptions, free trials, and receipts. Stay tuned for more insights next week.
Episode 60 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we learn how Kajabi’s email opt-in settings at checkout affect your subscribers, automations, and compliance with privacy laws like GDPR. We break down where to find email preferences in Kajabi’s global settings, how the opt-in checkbox impacts marketing and course communications, and best practices to ensure your buyers get all necessary emails while staying compliant. This week, we explore Kajabi’s offer settings, with a focus on understanding how to identify if someone is subscribed through the checkout process. This feature is crucial for setting up your communications, including automated email sequences and “send an email” automations. To manage this, go into your Kajabi Settings and open the Checkout Settings. This is a global setting that applies across all your offers, not something you set on individual offers. The Checkout Checkbox On the checkout page, there’s an opt-in box allowing buyers to subscribe to your marketing emails during the purchase process. You have several options for displaying this box: Leave it unchecked by default. Have it pre-checked but allow buyers to opt out. Disable it entirely, so no one gets added to your email list. If the box is pre-checked, you can customize the message to explain what communications buyers can expect if they stay subscribed. This helps clarify the kinds of emails they might receive related to their purchase or participation in your program. Automatic Email Sign-Ups and Gift Purchases Kajabi lets you automatically enroll buyers in email lists, but only for paid offers. If someone is making a free purchase, the automatic signup option won’t apply. There are also settings for gift purchases, giving recipients the choice to opt in to emails themselves. Privacy Laws and Compliance It's important to consider privacy laws governing email marketing, particularly the GDPR in Europe. Automatically enrolling buyers in marketing emails without their explicit consent may violate these regulations. Different regions have their own rules, so configure your checkout settings carefully to ensure compliance. Navigating Email Sequence Challenges A common challenge arises when buyers unsubscribe, as they might miss crucial course-related email sequences. Within Kajabi, the Announcements feature allows course-related emails to go out, even to users who’ve unsubscribed from marketing emails. Since these messages are linked to the course itself, they don’t count as marketing emails under most privacy laws. Helping Users Resubscribe If a buyer unsubscribes and later needs to receive course emails, you can guide them to a custom form on your site. Once they submit the form, Kajabi will send an email asking them to resubscribe. You can personalize this email by editing the default email templates in your Kajabi settings. The user simply needs to click a button in this email to resubscribe and regain access to essential communications. Conclusion Everything comes back to the email opt-in box on the checkout page, located at the top of the Checkout Settings in Kajabi. Properly configuring this feature helps you stay compliant with privacy laws and ensures buyers don’t miss important information after their purchase. Tune in next week for more insights into maximizing your Kajabi offers and settings.
Episode 59 Summary In this episode of Kajabi in 5 Minutes, we dive into the Automations area within Kajabi Offers. We discover the difference between transactional and marketing emails, the value of tagging user actions, and best practices for handling automations when offers are purchased versus granted. Additionally, we learn how automations can streamline internal workflows, customize access for your programs, and leverage conditional logic with advanced plans. The episode also previews next week's topic: managing subscriber status for buyers who may not be automatically added to your lists.   I’ve got some things that may help you with Kajabi: Kajabi in 5 Minutes YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Kajabiin5Minutes Kajabi 30 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/30days-kajabi Kajabi Blog: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/blog Kajabi Code course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/code Kajabi SEO course: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/seo   These next promotions are only active for a short time throughout the year 3 Months for $99: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/3months-for-99 60 Day Free Trial: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/60-day-trial 50% off for 12 Months: https://www.thecoachsupport.com/kajabi-half-price Episode Overview Introduction to Offer Automations in Kajabi Welcome to Kajabi in 5 Minutes. In this third episode of our series on Offers, we delve into the Automations area within Offers—a crucial part of optimizing your Kajabi setup. If you haven't listened to the previous episodes, consider going back to understand the full progression, as each episode builds upon the last. The Importance of Automations The Automations area is significant because the checkout page is an action point on your website where users interact directly with your content. This action serves as a trigger for automations. Understanding this trigger enables you to effectively manage post-purchase communication and streamline your workflow. Transactional vs. Marketing Emails in Kajabi A key point to understand is the difference between transactional and marketing emails: Transactional Emails: These are always delivered, such as receipts or confirmation emails sent automatically by Kajabi. Another form of transactional email occurs if you use the "Send an Email" option under the automation’s "Then" dropdown. Marketing Emails: These are typically sent through email sequences. However, a buyer may not always be subscribed to your marketing list, depending on how your checkout page is configured. If all post-purchase communication is handled through marketing emails, there’s a risk that some buyers may not receive them—so understanding this distinction is vital. Best Practices for Tagging and Tracking Best practice recommends that anytime someone takes action, such as making a purchase, you automate the tagging of their contact record. This allows you to quickly identify purchasers in your contacts list and easily track their engagement. Setting up an automation to apply a tag when an offer is purchased is a straightforward but powerful organizational tool. Understanding Automation Triggers: When vs. Then Pay close attention to the settings under "When" in your automations. By default, the trigger is set to "Offer is Purchased," but other options like "Offer is Granted" and payment-related triggers (e.g., subscription canceled or failed) exist. Offer is Granted: This refers to giving access to an offer without requiring the user to pay through the checkout page. Automations differ based on whether an offer is purchased or granted—so if you add tags, send emails, or subscribe contacts to sequences, consider setting automations for both scenarios, especially if your business model involves granting offers through forms or external payment methods. Use Cases for Granting Offers There are several common scenarios where you might grant offers instead of having them purchased: Forms Instead of Checkout Pages: When users fill out a form, their action can trigger the automation to grant them an offer. External Payment Processing: If you collect payment outside of Kajabi, you can automate the granting of offers on the backend, bypassing the checkout. Multi-Offer Programs: For programs with varied access levels (e.g., lifetime course content plus time-limited coaching), you can automate the process so users receive appropriate access by granting separate offers. This is managed invisibly in the background to the user but allows more customized access as part of your program. Leveraging Automations for Internal Workflows in Kajabi Automations aren't just for customer communication—they can also be configured to streamline internal processes: Team Notifications: Send emails to yourself or team members when a purchase is made to start a workflow. Managing Tags and Email Sequences: Automatically apply or remove tags based on payment status, or subscribe contacts to specific email sequences (e.g., "We noticed you left... consider this offer!"). Advanced Automations in Growth and Pro Plans If you’re on Kajabi’s Growth or Pro plans, you access advanced automations featuring conditional logic (essentially IF statements). This means automations can now perform actions based on added conditions (e.g., "If contact has this tag," "If they filled this form," "If they've purchased X") for much more targeted automation flows. Conclusion In the next episode, we’ll explore the issue of buyers who aren’t automatically subscribed to your contact list after purchase—why this happens, how it’s controlled, and the options available to ensure your communication reaches everyone who buys from you. If you're new, this episode is part of a series covering Offers. It may be helpful to listen to earlier episodes for full context. Today, we'll focus on the rest of the Offer Details page. Offer Details Page Overview Previously, we discussed the internal title and title. One field I missed was the description box. In most cases, the description box isn't useful—you typically don’t need to fill it out. Its content only appears if you use an offer content block on your website or landing page, which I personally don’t find beneficial. I haven’t used an offer block in several years, but from my experience, it's not the best way to communicate value. So, feel free to ignore the description box unless you have a specific use for it. Post-Purchase Actions On the Offer Details page, you can select what happens after a customer completes their purchase. Your options include: Send to the Member Library: Ideal for product sales, this sends buyers directly to their library where they can access what they purchased. If access is granted at a later date, customers can still see the product listed but will be restricted from accessing the content. Existing Landing Page: This option is great if you want to display custom information separate from the product—such as an introduction or extra details. Particularly useful if you’re selling access to things like private podcasts or coaching rather than traditional courses. Custom Thank You Page: Kajabi lets you create custom thank you pages that show a unique message above a base thank you page. It’s simple to use for straightforward messages. For more elaborate welcomes, consider creating a dedicated landing page instead. Email Settings After Purchase Below the post-purchase actions, you'll find email options: Default Email: This is a transactional email that gets sent automatically after purchase, regardless of the customer’s marketing email preferences. You can find the template in your Kajabi settings under Email Templates. The default is fairly generic and contains important code, so edit with caution and use the reset button if necessary. Custom Email: You can customize the email for that specific offer directly within the offer’s settings. None: Choose this if your offer does not include a product, to avoid confusing customers who don’t need to log in for access. It’s important to note that marketing emails (such as sequences or welcome emails) will only be sent to those who have subscribed, while the default transactional email is sent to everyone who makes a purchase. If you’re setting up a "ghost" offer—one with no product—make sure to disable the default email to prevent confusion. Conclusion Understanding the post-purchase actions and email settings in Kajabi offers is essential for delivering a smooth customer experience. By choosing the right action—whether sending customers to their member library, a custom landing page, or thank you message—you ensure buyers know exactly what to expect after their purchase. Properly configuring transactional and marketing emails also helps you communicate clearly and appropriately with every customer. Mastering these features lets you avoid confusion, reinforce your brand, and maximize the impact of every sale.

Today begins our new series on offers, where we’ll start with the basics. To access offers in Kajabi, start from the dashboard by clicking on "Sales," then "Offers." Here, you’ll see a list of all your offers, which you can sort by published or draft status. I recommend focusing on published offers to avoid confusion, since draft and published offer names might overlap. Understanding Offer Titles and Internal Titles When you click into an offer, you'll see two title fields: the offer title and the internal title. The offer title is what your clients will see, usually the name of your program. The internal title appears only within your offers list in Kajabi. This is especially helpful if you have multiple offers for the same program, like different payment plans. Including details in the internal title helps you quickly identify each offer's specifics. This distinction is important, not just in the offers list, but also when connecting checkout pages to call-to-action (CTA) buttons on your sales or landing pages. Often, only the titles are shown in the dropdown—so make your internal titles informative to avoid confusion. Adding Products to Offers In the offer details section, you can add products to your offer. If someone purchases this offer, they’ll gain access to all products attached to it. You can also have what’s called a ghost offer by creating an offer with no products. This allows someone to purchase through the checkout page, triggering automations without granting access to a digital product. Ghost offers are great for events or services where no digital deliverable is needed. Access Start and Duration Settings Below the product list, you’ll find settings for when access begins and how long it lasts (measured in days). For instance, if you set access length to 180 days, users will lose access 180 days after their purchase or after the specified access start date. You can also schedule access to begin on a specific future date—helpful for programs with live elements or group cohorts, ensuring everyone is on the same timeline. This setting is also critical if your course content is dripped, as the drip schedule starts whenever access begins. Modifying Offers After Live Sales If you later add a product to an existing offer with active users, Kajabi lets you choose whether the new product should go to everyone who bought the offer, or only to new purchases going forward. This flexibility ensures you can update offers without negatively impacting current or future students.   Conclusion Mastering the basics of offers in Kajabi is essential for effectively organizing and selling your products, programs, or services. By learning how to use offer titles, internal titles, product settings, and access controls, you gain greater flexibility and clarity in both managing your platform and providing the best experience for your customers. As you continue to refine your offers and explore more advanced features like automations and post-purchase actions, you’ll be able to streamline your workflow and support your business growth on Kajabi. Stay tuned for the next episode, where we’ll take your offer setup even further!

Today, I’m going to talk about offers in Kajabi—what they are and how you use them. Offers are central to Kajabi because they are how you collect payments or grant access to your products. This is a big topic, so I’ll be spending several episodes explaining all the possibilities. Kajabi offers a lot in this area, with countless options to customize your sales and delivery experience. What is an Offer in Kajabi? At its core, an offer in Kajabi allows you to put a checkout page in front of your customers. This is the user-facing aspect where clients can purchase or sign up for free content and then receive access to your product. Offers are how you collect money inside Kajabi—the only way to do so—and how you control product delivery. They manage: When access starts How long access lasts Pricing and payment types (one-time, subscription, payment plans, pay-what-you-want) Trial periods and recurring billing intervals Gift purchases and coupons Front-End and Back-End Functionalities On the front end, offers create a streamlined checkout experience. Customers see the offer page, complete their purchase or signup, and move through the funnel. On the back end, offers connect to automations and workflows that users don’t see but which control follow-up actions like emails, product access, and more. Payment Types and Customization Options Kajabi offers many ways to structure payments: Single upfront payments Subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly, or custom cycles) Payment plans (multiple payments spread over time) Gift offers Coupons applying to single or multiple payments You can also decide what happens immediately after purchase—whether customers see an upsell, a bump offer, a thank you page, or are directed to your product library. Automations and Post-Purchase Actions Offers integrate with Kajabi automations, allowing you to customize what emails are sent (default, custom, or none), collect passwords during checkout, and set other triggers that enhance the customer experience. Conclusion This episode is just the beginning. Over the next few episodes, I’ll cover: What happens when someone purchases an offer How offers are granted and what that means Tips and strategies to make the most of offers in your Kajabi site Stay tuned to learn everything there is to know about leveraging offers to grow your business!
