The trio gather this week in something of a torpor, induced either by long waking hours or by tranquilisers. There is an update on Eddie's withdrawal from the Irish Open and subsequent treatment, before the mood is lightened by reflections on Europe's victory in the Solheim Cup. There is also discussion of the two different sides of Shane Lowry on display as he romped to a record win at Doonbeg. Well, what a Walker Cup that was. Andrew and Iain have made their respective early flights back from the south-west of Ireland and join Eddie to discuss one of the most dramatic events, not just in golf or indeed sport, but in the history of human kind. We hope that does it justice. There is obvious praise for the GB & I side and discussion of who might have the most success in the professional game. Speaking of which, we also review events in the Alps where Thriston Lawrence showed that there actually is something better than a fit PC as he took down Paul Casey on the fourth extra-hole. Eddie gives us his thoughts on his own form as he looks forward to a meeting with the Don at the Irish Open and Andrew and Iain look forward to a trip to The Netherlands for the Solheim Cup. A slightly delayed episode with Eddie making his way to the mountains and Iain having a similarly difficult journey to a car hire depot. This week, the usual trio are spiced up by a bit of Andy Murray who tells us tales of his actual hole-in-one which absolutely definitely did happen. The tennis guy also offers sage advice for Eddie after walking off the course and his subsequent decision to take on a coach. There's a review of the Nexo Championship where Scott Jamieson took the title and Shaun Norris was victim of the ruling that few people had heard of. Meanwhile Wyndham Clark demonstrated again why he's a rival to Scheffler for player of the season and Rory showed us a return to form.
