Welcome to Episode 55 of We've Got This...Maybe! The Podcast!
In this episode we’re talking about drink culture and asking why alcohol seems to sit at the centre of so many social plans.
Why is it that as soon as the sun comes out, the default suggestion is a drink in a pub garden? When did catching up with friends, celebrating good news, or even just passing time start to revolve around alcohol?
We reflect on our own experiences growing up around drinking, the pressure we sometimes felt to join in, and the subtle ways people can feel pushed to drink even when they don’t want to. From youthful nights out to adult social habits, we explore how alcohol has shaped so much of our social lives.
We also talk about how attitudes toward drinking are starting to shift. With more people opening up about their relationship with alcohol — including influencers speaking honestly about their own struggles — it feels like society might be beginning to rethink its relationship with drinking.
It’s a thoughtful, sometimes serious, but often humorous conversation about social pressure, changing habits, and what role alcohol really plays in our lives today.

Welcome to Episode 54 of We've Got This...Maybe! The Podcast! In this week’s episode we’re asking the question lots of parents face… why do our kids have SO much stuff?!
From mountains of toys and endless birthday party bags, to cupboards full of things that are barely touched, we’re talking about the reality of raising kids in a world where it feels like they’re constantly getting more. But are we giving them too much?
We get into the guilt of throwing things away, the struggle of teaching kids to tidy up and appreciate what they have, and the pressure to keep up with the amount of “stuff” that seems to follow children everywhere. And what do you do with all the party bag tat?!
It’s a funny, honest conversation about clutter, parenting expectations, and trying to raise grateful kids when the toy pile keeps growing.

Welcome to the 53rd Episode of We've Got This...Maybe! The Podcast! In this episode, we’re having a raw and honest conversation about GLP-1 weight loss injections (including brands like Mounjaro, Ozempic, and Wegovy).
What changes your mind about something you once felt unsure about? We talk openly about the shift in perspective, the fears around judgment, the worry of “following the crowd,” and the curiosity sparked by seeing how effective these treatments have been for others.
Coming from two very different body perspectives, this isn’t a medical deep dive — it’s a real conversation about confidence, health, identity, and the complicated emotions tied to weight loss decisions. Expect honesty, challenge, encouragement, and the kind of discussion many people are having quietly but rarely out loud.
This episode deserves respect and kindess - and this conversation is what our podcast is all about.

Happy Birthday to us! And welcome to episode 52 of We've Got This Maybe...The Podcast!
In this special anniversary episode we’re looking back at how the podcast actually started - from the first idea and early nerves, to figuring things out as we went (and yes, making a few mistakes along the way). We chat about the challenges of putting yourselves out there, what surprised us most, what we got right, what we definitely got wrong, and the lessons we’ve learned from a year behind the mic.
We’re also answering some of the top questions we get asked about the podcast, sharing the reality of creating content while juggling real life, and talking honestly about the negativity that can come with showing up online and why it’s still been completely worth it.
Mostly, this episode is a celebration. Of consistency, growth, friendship, and everyone who’s listened, watched, messaged, shared, and supported us over the past year.
If you’ve been here since episode one or you’ve just found us thank you for being part of the journey

Welcome to Episode 51 of We've Got This...Maybe! The Podcast! This Valentine’s special episode, we’re diving into love languages, how we show love, how we want to receive it, and why it can feel like you and your partner (or friends!) are speaking completely different languages.
We chat about discovering our own love languages, the chaos of trying to speak someone else’s, and how mismatched expectations can lead to frustration, miscommunication, and the occasional dramatic “you never…” moment. From relationships and friendships to family dynamics, we unpack how values shape connection and how small changes can make a big difference.
Whether you’re all about words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, gifts, or physical touch, this is a funny, honest, and relatable conversation about love, expectations, and learning to meet people where they are.

Welcome to episode 50 of We've Got This...Maybe! The Podcast!
In this episode, we dive into the messy, modern world of boundaries, social media access, and cutting people off. Blocking someone used to mean avoiding awkward run-ins… now it means cutting off access to your photos, your stories, your kids, your home life... everything.
We talk about whether blocking is petty or protective, if people deserve second chances, and what it really means to reclaim control over your space and energy. From ex-friends sliding back into your DMs to family members crossing digital boundaries, we unpack when it’s okay to shut the door and when it might be worth reopening it.

Welcome to Episode 49 of We've Got This... Maybe! The podcast!
Lately it feels impossible to avoid the stories in the media about the Beckhams and while we’re not here to speculate or take sides, the conversation it’s sparked feels impossible to ignore.
In this episode, we talk honestly about what these very public family tensions bring up for us as parents. From letting go of control as your children grow, to navigating changing loyalties, family rifts, and what it feels like to watch relationships shift in real time. We explore how painful misunderstandings can become when they’re played out publicly, and why kindness and compassion matter more than ever especially when we never truly know what’s happening behind closed doors.
This is a conversation about parenting adult children, evolving family dynamics, and the quiet fear every parent carries: how do you stay connected while allowing your children to become their own people?

Welcome to the 48th episode of We've Got This... Maybe! the podcast! Why do the smallest things set us off? In this episode, we dive into the everyday habits that instantly trigger us...from table trumping and slamming doors to clearing plates before the waiter’s even asked and leaving cupboards wide open. The kind of things that shouldn’t matter… but absolutely do.
What starts as a list of petty annoyances quickly turns into a very funny realisation that we are, in fact, each other’s worst nightmare! We talk about why certain behaviours get under our skin, how triggers often say more about us than the person doing them, and how living closely with other people means constantly navigating each other’s quirks.

Money is one of those topics no one really teaches you, but everyone expects you to magically understand as an adult. In this episode, we have an honest, judgment-free conversation about how we actually manage money- the good, the bad, and the very relatable.
From bargain-hunting and feeling proud of a deal, to spending money to feel better, avoiding bank balances, and realising everyone “does money” completely differently, we talk about the habits, emotions and unspoken rules around finances that most of us grew up without.
This isn’t financial advice...it’s real life.

Welcome to Season 2 and the 46th episode of We've Got This... Maybe!
In this episode we get honest about what January is really like after the Christmas chaos fades. The pressure to reset, reinvent yourself, start new routines and suddenly have your life together can feel overwhelming especially when all you want is a bit of normality.
We talk about the post-Christmas slump, decision fatigue, and the constant noise around New Year’s resolutions. From finishing off the festive food while promising to “go healthy on Monday,” to everyone suddenly becoming a gym regular, we laugh about the clichés and share how they actually make us feel.
This episode isn’t about setting unrealistic goals or becoming a new version of yourself overnight. It’s about finding balance, setting realistic intentions, and giving yourself permission to survive January or thrive in small, manageable ways if that’s what feels right.

Welcome to the 45th Episode of We've Got This... Maybe! The Podcast!
In this episode, we talk honestly about why Christmas never quite feels how we expect it to. From the magic of our childhood Christmases to the pressure we feel now as adults and parents, we explore how expectations, family dynamics, packed calendars and trying to “do it right” can take over the festive season.
We reflect on the traditions our parents created, the moments we didn’t appreciate at the time, and how our own Christmas expectations can sometimes lead to guilt or disappointment. We chat about festive food debates, wrapping paper chaos, limited-edition Christmas treats, and the struggle to stay in control when everything feels excessive.
Most of all, we talk about letting go of perfection, evolving traditions, and finding comfort in the people who feel like family now, whether that’s relatives, friends, or the chosen family we’ve built along the way.

Welcome to the 44th episode of We've Got This... Maybe! The Podcast!
This week, we’re diving into the ultimate list of friendship icks, the tiny habits, chaotic choices, and questionable behaviours that could (in theory) end a friendship… or at least earn a dramatic side-eye.
From taking three business days to reply to a message, to serving bad coffee (a crime), to eating cold pizza when hot pizza exists, to blasting videos on full volume in public, we’re calling out the habits we’re guilty of and the ones we would absolutely NOT tolerate.

Welcome to the 41st episode of We've Got This... Maybe! The Podcast!
In this week’s episode, we’re pouring a very honest cup of real life. From the chaos of mum guilt to the overwhelm of trying (and failing) to keep up with everyone and everything. We talk about the moments that make you feel like the worst parent ever, forgetting dates, missing events, or simply dropping the ball because life is just too full. We unpack the joy and the guilt of cancelling plans, and the pressure to be everywhere at once.
We also take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reflecting on the things our parents used to do that totally make sence now! From sitting at the top of the stairs while our parents socialised, to realising what our “priorities” are now.

Welcome to the 40th episode of We've Got This... Maybe! The Podcast!
This week, we’re reflecting, laughing, and probably oversharing (again) because we’ve changed, and honestly… we’re not sorry about it. From caring way too much about what people thought in our 20s to embracing the chaos, confidence, and clarity of our 30s (and beyond), we’re getting real about the evolution of us.
A brutally honest chat about growing up, glowing up, and giving fewer f**ks!

Welcome to the 39th episode of We've Got This... Maybe! The Podcast!
In this episode we unpack what an apology really means. We talk about the difference between a quick, automatic “sorry” and the kind of apology that comes with understanding, accountability and change. We reflect on times we’ve apologised just to smooth things over… and the moments when hearing “sorry” didn’t actually make anything feel better at all.
We chat how saying sorry shows up in our relationships, our friendships, and especially in parenting. Are we teaching our children to understand the impact of their actions, or are we just training them to avoid getting into trouble? And what about us as adults?! Why do some of us apologise for everything, while others find it almost impossible to say the words at all?

Welcome to the 37th episode of We've Got This... Maybe! The Podcast!
Everyone’s talking about healing but no one tells you how hard it actually is. In this episode, we get real about the messy side of self-improvement: the pressure to always be “working on yourself,” the guilt when you’re not, and the uncomfortable truth that wanting to change doesn’t make it easy.
We talk about therapy, what it’s really like, why it only works when you’re ready, and how sometimes it feels like two steps forward, one step back. From emotional honesty to pure frustration, this episode is a deep dive into the chaos of self-reflection, the weight of expectation, and the reality that growth isn’t always pretty.

From hilarious throwbacks to bittersweet reflections, it’s all about the power of memory, the joy of remembering, and the sometimes funny, sometimes awkward ways the past stays with us.
