We talk to EGRC Men's Club Champion from 2024, Ian Leonard. Ian was selected as an England Masters representative after a more than solid, 35:18 Bristol 10k time in 2024. Ian also secured a Half Marathon PB of 1:18:27 in 2024. It was a great year for him. We talk about his journey, discovering he could do it with a little help from his friends and also about bouncing back from injury. 
In this episode, we talk will Gia who is a runner that has just completed a 13 year running streak. That's everyday for 13 years! We explore his motivation for starting running following Epilepsy surgery. Learn about his ultra running across bridges and through tunnels. Also cover a conversation corner piece, discussing warm ups.

In Episode 11, Josh and Martin are back on the run and catch up with Ellie who is a local runfluencer in Bristol. In this very special episode, we caught up with Simon Dent, an ultra runner and entrepreneur from Save Our Soles Foot Care company. He spoke to us about his running history, how he came to be involved in a 1000km challenge running from Brisbane to Sydney over 14 days for Dallaglio Rugby Works and Save Our Soles' flagship product, the Atacama Shoe Dryer.  Such great collaborations from Canterbury NZ, the British and Irish Lions Rugby Team, Save Our Soles, Dallaglio Rugby Works, Veloforte and Windsor and Eton Brewery, making all of this possible. In this episode of Stride by Stride, Josh and Martin catch up with Abbie. Abbie has been with EGRC for 12 years on and off and she discusses her triumphs, challenges and ambitions regarding running. We also discuss a competition where you could win entry in to redfish's Plain Crazy 12.5 mile race on the 28th of December. Listen for more details on how to enter. There is the usual catch up with club nights, the club championship and all the goings on with marathon season. Martin also catches up with Josh regarding his experiences and challenges with his most recent race at the Newport Marathon. This is a must listen to episode. 
This is episode 4 and a first special from Josh and Martin. They attended Bristol Running Show on the 23rd of March. This episode features them running the Sri Chimnoy 5k run hosted at the running show. They talk to the participants about their running. Martin and Josh also interviewed Tamara Miller, an Ultra Runner, Coach and Nutritionist from Dorset. They talk about Tamara's achievements and events, as well as what motivates her, how she overcomes barriers and a brief discussion about nutrition.
