Robyn Rose-Li is starring as Terpsichore, one of the Muses, in Disney's Hercules.Inspired by the 1997 Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Hercules opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2025. The show has music by Alan Menken, lyrics by David Zippel, and a brand-new book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah. Desmonda Cathabel has just finished her run as Eurydice in the West End production of Hadestown.She’s now in rehearsals to star as Lily Turner in Rosie: A New Musical. The show will be performed as a one-night-only semi-staged gala at the Adelphi Theatre on Tuesday 17th March.Rosie tells the true story of Miss Rosie Boote, who was raised in a convent in Ireland and dreamt of becoming a star on the West End stage in Edwardian London. The show has book, music and lyrics by Chris Broom.Desmonda is from Indonesia and came to the UK to train at the Royal Academy of Music. She won the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year in 2022.Desmonda was a quarter finalist in the ITV casting show Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream. Her theatre credits include alternate Kim in Miss Saigon (Sheffield Crucible), Princess Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin (UK & Ireland Tour) and From Here To Eternity (Charing Cross Theatre). Broadway star Nick Rashad Burroughs is in London playing Horace in Todrick Hall’s musical Midnight at Sadlers Wells East.Nick made his Broadway debus as an Angel and Billy Porter’s understudy for Lola in Kinky Boots. He went on to do King Kong on Broadway, before being part of the original Broadway cast of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, initially in the show’s ensemble before taking over the role of Ike Turner. Nick's other theatre credits include playing Lautrec in the US tour of Moulin Rouge, Minstrel and cover Shakespeare in the US tour of Something Rotten as well as lots of US regional theatre where he has played roles like Donkey in Shrek, Seaweed in Hairspray, Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and he was also Jimmy Early in Dreamgirls at The Muny. Ntombizodwa Ndlovu is starring as Marie Knight in Marie and Rosetta.Written by George Brant and directed by Monique Touko, Marie and Rosetta premiered last year at the Rose Theatre in Kingston ahead of a short tour. KoKo Alexandra is starring as Katherine Jackson and Kate in the West End production of MJ The Musical. KoKo is from Alabama and has been on an incredible journey so far in her career. After spending many years performing at sea on cruise ships and appearing on The Voice US, KoKo moved to London. She received huge acclaim for her performance as Lady Liv in Play On on tour and at the Lyric Hammersmith and later played Spirit of the Ring in Aladdin at the Palace Theatre in Newark. For the last year KoKo has been making her West End debut as Katherine Jackson and Kate in MJ and the show is now coming to the end of its London run. Billy was part of the tour's original cast as Lafayette and Jefferson whilst also understudying Aaron Burr. He went on to takeover as Aaron Burr full-time for the final year of the tour. Billy's theatre credits include: Fred in Groundhog Day (Old Vic), Jesus Christ Superstar (Barbican/Regent’s Park Open Air), Wonderful Town (Opera Holland Park) and Turn Up, The Color Purple in Concert and Overture (Cadogan Hall).Billy was nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Musical at the 2022 Black British Theatre Awards for his performance as Store Manager and Dewey in the London revival of Legally Blonde (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre). He was a swing in the original cast of & Juliet in Manchester and in the West End, and later returned to the show as Francois.Billy has co-hosted The West End Frame Show a couple of times, but this is his first time In The Frame! Jamie Chatterton is playing Warner in Legally Blonde.Nikolai Foster is directing an all-new production, starring Amber Davies as Elle Woods, which opens at Leicester Curve in February ahead of a UK and Ireland tour.Jamie graduated from ArtsEd and went on to originate the role of Alan Osmond in the world premiere of The Osmonds musical (UK Tour). He then originated the role of Tom Fraser in The Little Big Things (Soho Place), which was also filmed for digital release and recorded a cast album. Most recently Jamie played Herr Zeller in Nikolai Foster's revival of The Sound of Music (Leicester Curve), and also understudied the role of Captain von Trapp.Recorded during a break from rehearsals, in this episode Jamie discusses why playing Warner is a full-circle moment and how rehearsals have been so far. Our first guest of the year is Mason Alexander Park who is starring as Mary Todd Lincoln in the West End production of Oh, Mary! by Cole Escola.Directed by Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! is described as a dark comedy about a "miserable, suffocated" Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.Mason made their London theatre debut as the Emcee in Cabaret (Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse theatre) and went on play Ariel in The Tempest and Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing, both at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and directed by Jamie Lloyd.Mason famously played Hedwig in the US tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Their other theatre work includes playing St. Jimmy in American Idiot (Deaf West, Center Theatre Group Los Angeles), Charlotte von Mahlsdorf in I Am My Own Wife (Long Wharf Theatre), Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show (Bucks County Playhouse, Pittsburgh CLO), Creator and Performer in The Pansy Craze (Audible at The Minetta Lane Theatre). They’ve also worked extensively on screen.Recorded backstage, in this episode Mason discusses all-things Oh, Mary!, their move to London and their path to theatre plus lots more. It's the final episode of the series, and Aisha Jawando is In The Frame!Aisha is a legendary star of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. She was in the original West End cast playing Aline and understudying Tina. She went on to become the alternate Tina before taking over the role full-time to huge acclaim. Aisha left the show in 2022, but has returned many times to standby or play Tina for one-off shows in the West End and on the UK tour. Aisha starred as Angelica Schuyler in the original UK & Ireland tour cast of Hamilton. Some of her other theatre credits include: Fela (National Theatre), The Lion King (Lyceum Theatre), Ikette in Soul Sister (Savoy Theatre), understudy Nabulungi in The Book of Mormon (Prince of Wales Theatre), Beautiful: The Carole King Theatre (Aldwych Theatre), Martha Reeve in Motown The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre), Carmen in The Life (Southwark Playhouse) and Pilar in Legally Blonde (Leicester Curve). In addition to being in the Wicked movie, Aisha has worked on screen with Netflix, Apple TV and BritBox. She also runs a vintage jewellery business. George Blagden is In The Frame!George is starring in A Ghost In Your Ear at the Hampstead Theatre, written and directed by Jamie Armitage. Using binaural sound technology, the audience wears headphones so they are immersed in the "terrifying" auditory world of the show.Next year George will star alongside Anna-Jane Casey and Layton Williams in Paul Foster’s UK revival of Kiss Of The Spider Woman. George has worked extensively on screen, he’s best known for his roles in Vikings and Versailles. His stage work includes The Cabinet Minister (Menier Chocolate Factory), Tartuffe (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Platinum (Hampstead Theatre) and The Pitchfork Disney (Shoreditch Town Hall). George’s first love is musicals. In addition to playing Grantaire in the Les Misérables movie, he played PJ in Marianne Elliott’s West End revival of Company and Bob Wallace in Sheffield Theatres’s production of White Christmas.In this episode, George reveals why A Ghost In Your Ear is such a unique piece of theatre as well as his love for musicals and the unexpected path of his career. Olivier winner Liza Sadovy is In The Frame!Liza is back on stage, starring in the UK premiere of Michael McKeever’s play Daniel’s Husband at the Marylebone Theatre. The show is directed by Alan Souza with the cast also including David Bedella, Luke Fetherston, Raiko Gohara and Joel Harper-Jackson.Liza won her Olivier Award in 2022 for her performance as Fräulein Schneider in Rebecca Frecknall's West End revival of Cabaret (Playhouse Theatre). She was nominated the following year for her performance as Aunt Eller in Oklahoma! (Young Vic / Wyndham's Theatre). On screen Liza recently wrapped filming The Rumour for Channel 5 and was in the Oscar-nominated film A Real Pain. She is a regular in Patience (Channel 4) and has a recurring role in Season 5 of Strike (BBC/HBO).
