On its face, it promises tax cuts and job creation. In reality, it’s a trojan horse filled with corporate giveaways, cuts to essential programs like Medicaid and SNAP, and a ballooning federal deficit that will eventually justify further reductions in social services. The legislation would add $3.3 trillion to the federal deficit over the next decade, leaving millions without healthcare while permanently slashing corporate tax rates from 35% to 21%.
