Our guests share their experiences at Alleghany High School, the relationships that have impacted them, and what makes the AHS community special. Their stories highlight the student voice, supportive staff, and the culture that continues to grow as we move forward—better together.
In this episode of Better Together, we sit down with students Sarah Altizer (Freshman), Juan Lopez (Sophomore), Preston Booze (Junior), and Miles Christian, along with teacher Samantha Nicely, to share their experiences at Alleghany High School. From classroom moments to personal growth, this conversation highlights student voice, meaningful relationships, and what it truly means to be better together as a school community.
In this November episode of the Better Together Podcast, we hear from Senior Willow Davis, Junior Sheranna Wallace, Sophomore Brandon Daniel, and Freshman Levi Rice as they share what they enjoy most about being students at Alleghany High School and the staff members who have made a positive impact on them. We’re also joined by Athletic Trainer Kara Bess, who talks about supporting student-athletes and being part of the Cougar community.
