How do we honor God in our everyday lives, our excursions and activities? Not long ago, we were aware of the black and white…black and white has now gelled to become gray areas…?? What happened to good vs evil. People are living evil and destructive lifestyles and we are told to just love and be kind as long as we don't hurt anyone. But there is also God's, love, peace and kindness. His love is to protect us from a destructive life, from eternal damnation. The world's love says it's ok as long as you're happy. Who tells them that there is an alternative lifestyle. Who tells them that God loves them with an everlasting love and that He gave His only Son to die for them and that they can live in freedom. We should be telling them… But why are so many Christians participating in worldly activities?

Hear the story of how I ended up with a Podcast. God has a plan for all of us and included in that plan are assignments, which could include tasks, service, etc, and He provides direction and guidance. Every assignment is important and significant, regardless of its size. Trust in His plan and be obedient, Don't miss the opportunity to magnify the Lord and to experience His greatness.

Why do we have difficulty in waiting; waiting on the Lord. Especially those of us who have invited Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We all have done things our own way at some point or at many points and could not wait on the Lord for Him to lead, guide and direct us. What's your reason for not waiting on the Lord? I've asked the question many times; " Are you Saved, or a Christian, or Born Again? Answers blow my mind. The typical answer is "yes, I go to church." Well, I just had to unpack the Bible references where Saved, Christian and Born Again are used. These are powerful, and describes what it is to be a Christian. When you are a Christian does your regular conversations with friends and family include Jesus? Why are you saved and how do you live out your life as a Christian. Join me as I unpack what it means to be Born Again.

What's the status of your mental capacity and your mentality. On what basis do you make decisions, from your heart or your mind? Are you making decisions based on your emotions and your feelings. Decisions we make today impacts us for at least the next five years of our lives. Let's go deep.

What is your identity; who are you? Identity is a complex concept that refers to who you are as an individual and as a member of social groups. It's made up of a combination of your characteristics, beliefs, experiences, and how you see yourself. Identity can also include how you think others perceive you. But, have you thought about whose you are? You may be identified by whose you are.

Reflecting on Christmas. Why are we buying each other gifts, when Jesus is the gift. If we are supposedly celebrating Jesus birth, why are we buying gifts for each other? Isn't Jesus the gift from God and He is the gift that keeps on giving. Jesus gives us everything we need for everyday to sustain us. What's the benefit of the Christmas tree and Santa? Something to think about...

What is happiness. When we lack peace, joy and love, we are unhappy. We try to fill the voids in our lives with many different things and people and these are temporary. We seek long-lasting happiness and fulfillment and find that we are not designed to fill someone else's container. We are selfish and our hearts are deceitful. God examines the heart and test the minds and He only can give us long-lasting fulfillment and happiness.

The what/where/when of a quiet place. It will be a private space where you can be honest and bear your heart; come just as you are. No need to be eloquent, just honest. Find your quiet place where you can destress and commune with your Father. You speak, He listens. He speaks, you listen. Sometimes just to bathe in that special presence you'll find the weight lifting. Do this as often as you can; in the good times and the bad times.
