Description
The Devotional Woman is a podcast for the woman returning to herself. For the woman who is done abandoning her truth, her needs, her softness, and her power. Hosted by feminine mentor and embodiment guide Monique Carmela, these conversations weave self-devotion, emotional intimacy, nervous system wisdom, motherhood, relationships, and the art of becoming your most authentic, embodied self. This is a space for the woman who feels the pull to soften, open, remember, and rise. A homecoming into your heart, your truth, and the life you were always meant to live.

In this heartfelt conversation, Monique is joined by Judith Beuel — a Motherhood & Self-Leadership Mentor devoted to supporting women to reconnect with the heart as a living portal to love, truth, and divine guidance.Together, they explore what it actually looks like to source from the heart in everyday life — not as a lofty concept, but as a grounded, embodied practice that changes the way we lead ourselves through triggers, motherhood, partnership, and the intensity of the world around us.This episode is a powerful reminder that you are not broken — you’re remembering. And that devotion isn’t perfection… it’s the willingness to keep returning to your truth, again and again. In this episode, we explore:The heart as a portal to the Divine (and what it feels like in the body)Why slowing down is the pathway out of fear-based spirals and into clarityHow triggers become invitations: moving from blame to self-responsibility without self-abandonmentThe ripple effect of heart-led living (in your home, relationships, and the collective)Motherhood, nervous system safety, and the power of returning to love in the small momentsMonique’s relationship turning point: choosing truth, then choosing love — without bypassing realityWhat devotion really means as a lived pathA gentle invitation from this conversation:Try taking one intentional pause today — hand on heart, one deep breath — and notice what shifts when you meet life from love instead of speed.Connect with Judith:Find her on Instagram: @judithbeuelAbout Your HostMonique Carmela is a somatic guide, feminine embodiment mentor, and space-holder for women devoted to healing, truth, and conscious relationships. Radical acceptance is not “positive thinking” and it’s definitely not bypassing... It's the pathway to LIBERATION and reclaiming your power. In this deeply honest, wildly nourishing conversation, I’m joined by Sami Garrett, founder of Good Enough Matrescence, to explore radical acceptance as a devotional practice — the kind that meets you in the grief, the rage, the resentment, the triggers, and the chaos of motherhood… without making any of it mean you’re broken. We speak to the difference between acceptance vs condoning, and why so many of us get stuck in the endless loop of “I need to heal/fix myself” — not realizing that the chase can actually reinforce not-enoughness. Together we unpack what it looks like to tend to trauma without living inside it, to let emotions move through the body (not just the mind), and to reclaim aliveness in the very moments we’d normally resist. We also bring this into partnership: how radical acceptance transforms communication, softens blame, supports nervous system safety, and helps you stop turning your unmet needs into criticism — so love, intimacy, and true support can grow.Inside this episode, you’ll hear:Why acceptance is liberation, not complacencyHow to feel what’s here without bypassing (mind, body, heart, soul)The shift from “high vibe = happy” to high frequency = spacious alivenessA powerful inquiry: If you could do no wrong and would only be loved and supported… who would you be right now?Why community matters (and how support makes the journey lighter)✨ Join the conversation inside The Devotional Woman Facebook community — bring your reflections and answer the inquiry with us.Connect with Sami: @goodenoughmatrescenceSami is the founder of Good Enough Matrescence (GEM)—a global collective redefining motherhood support through real-time nervous system tools, mindset reframes, emotionally intelligent community, and evidence based resources from pregnancy to years postpartum and everything in-between.Explore GEM (Sami’s community for mums) here: a resource-rich space for ease, support, and real-life motherhood without judgment. In this deeply embodied conversation, I’m joined by sexologist, educator, and somatic guide Kiki Maree for a powerful exploration of sexuality as a devotional practice. We dive into fantasy, yoni massage, erotic safety, nervous system regulation, and the unlearning required to move beyond shame, performance, and obligation in sex. Together, we explore how sexuality — when approached with slowness, consent, and presence — becomes a pathway to healing, empowerment, aliveness, and deeper connection with self, lovers, motherhood, and even business.Kiki shares her personal journey into sexology, the impact of poor sex education on our bodies and desires, and why so many women and vulva-holders struggle with pain, disconnection, and low desire — even without obvious “trauma.” We talk about fantasy as both a bridge into pleasure and a tool for safety, how to work with the nervous system rather than against it, and why devotion in sexuality is less about performance and more about listening. We also explore:Why slowness is essential for pleasure and orgasmHow fantasy can support arousal without bypassing the bodyThe difference between tolerance vs true consent in intimacyWhy penetrative sex doesn’t need to be the goalHow yoni massage supports pelvic health, boundaries, and embodied voiceReclaiming sexuality from shame, fear, and cultural conditioningThis episode is an invitation to soften, slow down, and remember sexuality as sacred — not something to fix, perform, or endure, but something to meet with curiosity, compassion, and devotion.✨ A deeply nourishing listen for anyone longing to feel safer, more alive, and more at home in their body.Connect with Kiki MareeKiki Maree is a somatic sex educator, writer, and facilitator specialising in embodied sexuality, body image, and relational intimacy. What if the sensations you’ve been trying to “think your way out of” are actually asking to be moved? In this conversation, I’m joined by movement teacher Manu, who shares the missing link so many of us don’t receive in healing spaces: the body. Together we explore how trauma isn’t only a story in the mind — it can be a physical imprint in the tissues, the posture, the breath… the places we clench, brace, hold, or collapse. We dive into:What trauma actually is (and why it’s not only “big” events)Big T vs little t trauma — and how resourcing changes everythingHow the body stores incomplete survival responses (fight/flight/freeze)Why shaking, trembling, sound, tears and movement can be deeply normalThe truth about somatics (and why “anything body-based” isn’t necessarily somatic)How to build emotional intelligence through movement — without pushing or re-traumatizingThe power of baby steps: pendulating between collapse and opening, safelyWhy this is emotional hygiene — not another thing to “perform” or perfectIf you’re ready to stop judging your emotions, soften the armour, and learn how to meet yourself with compassionate curiosity from the inside… this one is for you.Manu MitevovaYogi, somatic mover, and trauma-informed teacher obsessed with the mind-body connection. Welcome to The Devotional Woman Podcast. In this episode, I’m sharing the heart behind a powerful evolution — the transition from Good Girl Unleashed into The Devotional Woman. This shift isn’t just a rebrand. It’s a reflection of my own lived journey, and the collective evolution I’ve witnessed within this community.Unleashing ourselves from old conditioning was never the final destination. It was the beginning. This new era is about devotion — devotion to your body, your healing, your truth, your path. It’s about releasing the idea that healing is something to “finish,” tick off, or perfect… and instead anchoring into a lifelong, nourishing relationship with yourself. We explore:Why healing isn’t a quick fix — and why that’s a reliefThe difference between pushing for growth and being devoted to your pathHow devotion creates sustainability, safety, and true transformationWhy things coming up doesn’t mean it’s “not working” — it often means it isHow to stay connected to yourself through discomfort, uncertainty, and changeWhat it really means to trust divine timing, your nervous system, and your sacred yes and noThis conversation invites you to move beyond bypassing, striving, and self-pressure — and into a way of being where your inner work becomes nourishment, not another item on the to-do list. The Devotional Woman isn’t trying to get somewhere as fast as possible. She is present. She listens. She stays. She meets herself again and again — no matter what arises. This episode is an invitation into that energy, that frequency, and this next chapter we’re walking together. If this resonates, I’d love to hear how this shift feels in your body — and to welcome you into our free Devotional Woman community, where we’ll continue deepening these conversations, practices, and embodied devotion together.Thank you for being here. This is only the beginning.Ways to Work Together✨ Grounded In YouA foundational nervous system and emotional regulation journey to help you feel safe, supported, and anchored in yourself and your relationships.✨ The Sacred Art of Loving YourselfA deep, heart-led pathway into self-love, self-trust, inner child integration, and releasing shame, people-pleasing, and self-abandonment.✨ The Embodied WomanA long-term devotional container for women ready to live, love, and lead from truth — integrating nervous system work, conscious communication, boundaries, relationships, and embodied feminine power.About Your HostMonique Carmela is a somatic guide, feminine embodiment mentor, and space-holder for women devoted to healing, truth, and conscious relationships. In this episode of The Good Girl Unleashed Podcast, Monique sits down with somatic sexologist, therapeutic yoni massage practitioner, and aura photographer Sarah Silverstein for a deeply real and liberating conversation about coming home to your body.Together, they unpack how a busy, overthinking mind is often a clever protection mechanism that keeps us from feeling what’s really living in our bodies — our emotions, our pain, our truth… and our pleasure. They explore:Why dropping into the body can feel terrifying when you’ve lived in your head for yearsHow somatic work, breathwork, and therapeutic yoni massage can gently reopen sensation and safetyThe shame and taboo surrounding vulvas, pleasure, and sexuality — and how reclaiming these parts of us changes everythingThe witch wound, sisterhood wound, and the grief of living without true village and eldersHow listening to your body’s “yes” and “no” shifts your relationships, work, and self-worthSimple ways to bring more everyday pleasure into your life (that have nothing to do with the bedroom)This is a conversation for the woman who feels “too in her head,” numb, shut down, or “broken” around intimacy — and is ready to remember that there is nothing wrong with her, and that deeper love, connection, and pleasure are absolutely available.Sara Silverstein is a Somatic Sexologist, Therapeutic Yoni Massage Facilitator, and International Breathwork Guide who guides women and vulva-havers back to their pleasure, power, and aliveness. With a background in nervous system regulation, therapeutic touch, and embodiment practices, Sara weaves together science and soul to help clients release shame, reconnect with their bodies, and expand their capacity for joy - inside and outside the bedroom.Connect with Sara here: https://www.instagram.com/sarasilverstein/Monique Carmela is a feminine embodiment mentor, somatic guide, and host of The Good Girl Unleashed Podcast. In this Q&A episode, I’m answering your heart-questions around feeling safe in love, navigating separation, manifesting new relationships, and learning how to trust life, the divine, and yourself again. We explore what it really means to feel safe in relationship when your nervous system is still recalibrating – that pendulation between “I feel safe” and “I don’t feel safe” – and why that doesn’t mean you’re broken or doomed, it means you’re growing and expanding your capacity. We talk about the difference between knowing you are always safe at a soul level, and not feeling safe in the moment… and how to tend to yourself when you want to run.I share a personal story from my relationship with Liam about feeling deeply triggered, holding my boundary, and not going into the old spiral of pulling up the past, attacking, or running — and how that actually created more safety and trust between us.Inside this episode, we move through questions around:Struggling to feel consistently safe and wanting to run from the relationshipNavigating separation, anxiety, overwhelm, fear & sleepless nightsHow to connect with your feminine energy when you feel stuck in your masculine and the need to control everythingManifesting new relationships with your children, yourself, and a potential life partnerReleasing generational mother wounds, people pleasing & the need for outside validationFeeling afraid of not being taken care of and learning to lean back, trust, and receiveManifesting from pure alignment vs. ego, and being fully supported by life & the divineBalancing surrender with taking aligned action (and why it was always about who you’re becoming)Releasing the last layers of doubt and fear around receiving and allowing your manifestations to unfold with more ease, grace, and joyIf you’re in a season of big emotions, relationship questions, or you’re in the thick of manifesting “your next level” and wondering if you can actually trust it… this episode will meet you there with tenderness, truth, and nervous-system-aware support.🌹 Join us inside the Living in Love Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1654605958243746If you’d love to go deeper into this work, check out my signature programs here: https://www.moniquecarmela.com/work-with-meAnd if you’re unsure where to start, reach out or book a discovery call and we can feel into what’s most supportive for you right now.Book a call here
Beautiful soul… this one is DEEP.There’s been a huge theme in our community lately around receiving — money, love, pleasure, support, appreciation, intimacy, opportunities…And the truth is: most women are overgiving, under-receiving, and don’t even know why.In today’s episode of The Good Girl Unleashed Podcast, I unravel:✨ Why receiving feels unsafe for so many women✨ How your childhood, lineage & family money stories shape your receiving capacity✨ Why overgiving creates depletion, resentment & shutdown✨ What blocks your receiving channel (and how to reactivate it)✨ The real reason your manifestations bring up so much fear✨ My personal story of money, sex, heartbreak, lineage wounds & the moment everything changed✨ How to open the infinity loop of giving and receiving✨ What it takes to become a woman who feels SAFE to receive love, wealth, pleasure & lifeThis episode is raw, vulnerable, powerful, and will hit deep for you if receiving has ever felt uncomfortable, overwhelming, or “too much.”If your soul is tired of overgiving…If you crave more love, more connection, more abundance, more life-force…If you’re ready to open to the fullness of your life…THIS is for you!Links:Check out my signature programs here: https://www.moniquecarmela.com/programsSubmit your questions HERE for the Live Q&A (Happening inside the LIVING IN LOVE Community)Join the LIVING IN LOVE Community HEREBook a free discovery call HERE

In today’s episode, I am joined by Amanda Vanessa, and we’re exploring the idea that if you’re not the villain in someone else’s story, you’re probably not being your authentic self…When we step into our power, our authenticity, our full expression, we are very likely going to trigger someone.Being our authentic self and expressing ourselves has become taboo, so many of us are still hiding, contorting, suppressing, dimming our light in order to fit in and so when you step into your power, truth and authenticity, it’s going to make others that feel unsafe to do that uncomfortable.Triggers are a beautiful thing, they reveal to us what’s unhealed, unresolved, unintegrated, our of alignment so that we can come back to alignment, authenticity and truth. We’re often so afraid to trigger someone because it feels like it threatens our belonging which threatens our survival but when we realise that our belonging is within, it’s our responsibility, we can cultivate it for ourselves and it can never be taken away.So often we are relying on others to meet our needs for love, acceptance and belonging and then we feel trapped in our lives and relationships. When you cultivate self-love, acceptance and belonging from within, you are able to be your full self, this is where you find your freedom, and this is what allows you to connect with your soul tribe. When you stop trying to fit in and be your full self, which will involve accepting that not everyone will like you, you’re able to magnetise the people that LOVE you and resonate with your true self, and you’ll experience the love, connection and belonging you’ve been craving.I’m excited to share this conversation with you, it’s so powerful and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts and what resonated for you.Jump into the Facebook Community and share with us your experience, and what’s your next step to living authentically…https://www.facebook.com/share/g/19LPTPuqWy/LinksBECOMING (free) Live Experience with Monique, 27th Sep 2025: https://embodiedlove.moniquecarmela.com/becoming-liveJoin my email list by registering for one (or all) of my free resources (highly recommend so you don't miss an episode, free event, and other amazingness that is only sent to our email community): https://www.moniquecarmela.com/resourcesThe Embodied Woman Experience: https://embodiedlove.moniquecarmela.com/eweLearn more about me and my work here: https://www.moniquecarmela.com/Amanda VillarrealLilith-Coded Liberation Mentor & NeuroEmotional Alchemist, helping visionary women remember who the f*ck they are so they can rise in their full power & create the magical legacy they were born to lead ❤️🔥Get Amanda's Masterclass for free: The Unexpected Villain. My story2025 has been a MASSIVE year of integration from some incredibly deep work I did with my mentor, Victoria Bauman, last year. Through our work I felt a huge recalibration to truth, authenticity, alignment, and embodied love. It allowed me to anchor into deep safety and tap into the courage required to make some BIG decisions that previously felt too scary and this completely changed my life, allowing me to become the Embodiment Of Love, an initiation I have been moving through since opening my company a couple years ago, Embodied Love Coaching. In this episode, I share with you my journey of death, rebirth, and sitting in the void, shifting how I show up and respond to life, shifting the lens of lack, scarcity, not good enoughness, to overflowing abundance, love, and truth. I share with you incredible realisations, messages, and wisdom that has been coming through for me, for you, for us, and where we are heading on this journey together…Come join us inside the FB Community here: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/19LPTPuqWy/This is where we will be continuing the conversations from the podcast, where you can share what's coming up for you and ask your questions to receive personalised support and guidancePLUS we will be having our OFFICIAL LAUNCH PARTY inside the FB Community on the 8th September, 2025, and would absolutely LOVE to have you there!Links:EPIC Love Free Masterclass: https://embodiedlove.moniquecarmela.com/epic-loveFree Facebook Community: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/19LPTPuqWy/Join my email list by registering for one (or all) of my free resources (highly recommend so you don't miss an episode, free event, and other amazingness that is only sent to our email community): https://www.moniquecarmela.com/free-resourcesThe Embodied Woman Experience: https://embodiedlove.moniquecarmela.com/eweLearn more about me and my work here: https://www.moniquecarmela.com/

In this nourishing conversation, I’m joined again by sacred sexuality mentor Janine to explore what it really looks like to live a sensual, embodied life as a real woman in a very full season — business, kids, partnerships, responsibilities and all.We unravel the pressure we put on ourselves to “do embodiment right” — the 3-hour practices, the perfect morning routine, the ideal conditions — and instead anchor into the truth that our power lives in the micro moments: being present with your morning coffee, watching your children play, driving under a rainbow, feeling the sun on your skin.Together we speak to:Why pressure kills pleasure — in sex, business, motherhood and lifeHow to start (or restart) sacred sexuality and embodiment practices when you feel tired, busy, or resistantThe power of 2–5 minute “micro practices” and how they actually rewire your system over timeMoving from destination obsession (orgasms, goals, milestones) into savouring the journeyRemembering that you are cyclical — and why your practices should change with your seasons and your bleedUsing your inner signals (yes/no, expansion/contraction) as your compass rather than external “shoulds”How reclaiming your sensuality and presence impacts your children, your relationships and the next generationThis episode is an invitation to stop trying to “keep up”, to let go of perfection, and to remember that your inner power has always been within you. It all starts with one tiny, loving micro practice.Listen in if you’re ready to feel more alive in your everyday life, reconnect to your body and pleasure, and create a new normal where you are no longer on the back burner — you are at the centre of your own sacred, sensual life.Jannine MacKinnon, Sex, Love, and Relationship Coach, supports moms in thriving as their most radiant and happy selves. In this episode of the Good Girl Unleashed podcast, host Monique welcomes Alex Harvey, a coach dedicated to helping women live authentically and embrace their true nature.
The conversation dives deep into the concept of 'good girl conditioning'—a set of societal programs that restrict women from expressing their true selves and achieving their full potential.
Alex outlines ten key conditioning programs that often impede women's empowerment, ranging from beliefs around sexuality and attractiveness to the notion that success must come through struggle.
Both Monique and Alex share personal anecdotes and insights on overcoming these limiting beliefs through acceptance, self-awareness, and the transformative power of sexuality and sensuality.
They also discuss the broader implications of these conditioning programs on various aspects of life, including business, relationships, and personal growth.
Additionally, Alex introduces her upcoming offerings, including a Sex Magic Ritual system and a comprehensive 12-month curriculum designed to help women harness their innate power and creativity.
This episode is a profound exploration of the journey towards self-liberation and living from a place of true authenticity.
