Presented by Area 51 Sports NetworkIntro song -Two Wolves by Jesse RoperThe Canucks take a back seat for one week on the show as we welcome the super talented Rob Fai to our lineup.Rob has been involved with both the Athletics and Blue Jays organizations through the Vancouver Canadians organization and has seen this team blossom to its current form. Some great stories about getting Facetimed in Japan from John Schneider after the Jays just won the ALCS, seeing Trey Yesavage before he moved up the ranks, the Canadians 75th anniversary plans, and just getting into all things Blue Jays. This is a 99% Blue Jays content episode but the stories from Rob are worth it. He's a beauty of a human being and we are so grateful every time he's willing to grace our presence. This one doesn't disappoint.
Intro song - Two Wolves by Jesse RoperPresented by Area 51 Sports NetworkTHIS WEEK: The Canucks statistically are one of the worst teams in the league, the stats are not pretty and yet they're two wins back of first overall. The Whalers and Nordiques go throwback this week and we wax poetic about how the NHL needs to embrace the throwback and get jersey matchups back. Embrace the past. The Jays are in the World Series and we talk only briefly (ok sure) about how amazing it is to have major baseball in late october in canada. We get into where the Canucks ultimately are at this season and how things need to get going if they're going to build a case for Quinn Hughes staying. The times are tough my friends.

Does Ryan finally get a win or does Ted somehow snatch victory that he so definitely does not deserve. Find out on the show!

Area 51 Sports Network proudly presents another episode of PP1 Podcast. This week, Ryan and Ted go rant heavy on the Canucks, their sloppy dealings in PR, player management, and direction. We talk about taking things one issue at a time and how the Canucks somehow managed to waste away a season with so many great things to look forward to.Ryan talks about how Andrei Kuzmenko needs to be a yearly one season contract sniper for every NHL team. The logic is there. We also chat about our time at the Bush concert in Kelowna. This show is very rant heavy this week.Enjoy!

Area 51 Sports Network presents the PP1 Podcast! On again, off again Canucks find a way to stay playoff relevant again this week.Brock Boeser apparently could have been moved for a first round pick, Elias Pettersson is returning to form and the Calgary Flames make us mad.Vancouver played in Calgary this week and it was bad blood all over the place: scrums, penalties, coaches yelling, and playoff intensity. We chat about how much we hate the Flames and Oilers and why they hate us too!Can you have the best goalie and still lose? Ryan and Ted discuss the funny position and in lieu of no top 5, the guys goto ChatGPT and draft the best 90s/2000s alt rock band with Canucks players. This week we discuss:
Ovechkin being 12 goals away from the Gretzky record, can he hit 1k, and is there another player even remotely close to flirting with the record in his career?
Conor Garland the workhorse, the switcheroo guru, the straw stir in the drink for the Canucks this season.
The Brier is in Kelowna this week so the guys drafted their respective curling teams made of Canucks players via ChatGPT. The results were hilarious.

Somehow the Vancouver Canucks have put together a string of wins (a streak, we're told) and despite all the drama, they are still a unit. Tylers Myers makes his triumphant return to the lineup and maybe the sky isn't falling on Canucks nation?
It's no secret the Canucks have been a hot mess with trade rumours and poor play but PP1 Podcast comes and delivers the goods you want.
We have a serious discussion about Elias Pettersson and his future, JT Miller's contributions to the team and Demko as a candy bar. Listen and find out why.
There is SO MUCH DRAMA going on with the Canucks and the PP1 Podcast is happy to return to talk about it... and moisturizer... and hitting Tyler Myers with a golf ball.
Listen in and find out what the heck we're talking about this week.
