Raw this week was bookended by main eventers. Here’s our take on why the Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, and Oba Femi segment was hot on a nuclear level—and why the closing segment with Roman Reigns and CM Punk fell short of the greatness they previously delivered. Plus, we dive into current and dream WrestleMania booking plans, and why heel Randy Orton vs. babyface Cody Rhodes may have just set the bar for the entire weekend.
We have a little more clarity in the WWE. Rhea Ripley and Randy Orton won their respective Elimination Chamber matches and are now locked in for WrestleMania. While Mami is stomping straight into the eye of the storm on a collision course with Jade Cargill, Randy will either have to face off with Cody Rhodes or the current Undisputed WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre. We give you our in-depth thoughts. Also—dammit, man! CM Punk and Roman Reigns both went nuclear during their promo this week, but Punk went extra hard, referencing The Tribal Chief’s late, great respected dad. The anticipation for their main event is reaching a crescendo and will only get more feverish. We break all that down and more on the road to WrestleMania.
Swerve swerved us. He beat Kenny Omega, then beat him down afterward to add insult to injury. The ROWP crew breaks down the impact heel Swerve will have on the company. Meanwhile, the top dog in AEW, World Heavyweight Champion MJF, has a swell of top contenders who could realistically beat him for the strap, including Hangman Adam Page, who is willing to never again compete for the Heavyweight Title if Maxwell grants him another chance at the chip and he loses. Is Hangman making too big of a gamble? We break it down. Also, we once again dive into the great debate on whether it is helpful or harmful to the World Title scene when the top names in AEW play hot potato with the belt, with a myriad of wrestlers winning and losing the title in a matter of months. Plus, damn, the tag team division is on fire again. All things AEW on this episode.
S.W.G.M.: Special guests Jae Skeese and Ill Tone Beats stop by to talk about their top five wrestlers of all time, their new single, and their upcoming joint LP, The Good Part. Also, the ROWP family breaks down the highlights from Friday Night SmackDown (February 13) and Monday Night Raw (February 16) this past week as the explosive build to Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania continues. When will Finn leave Judgement Day, will Jacob Fatu still be able to Main Event Mania despite not being not qualifying for The Chamber and how much punishment will Gunther serve to Dragon Lee for interfering and costing him in his match? Prayers up for Bianca Belair’s recovery.
Cody “Raheem” Rhodes was invited to any barbecue even before he was born. The American Dream Dusty Rhodes was so loved by this culture that, of course, his kinfolk would naturally be down by law. Cody has ingratiated himself to us like his pops, and during his recent promo on SmackDown, he was telling the world — and specifically CM Punk and Roman Reigns — “mutha fu— the big three… it’s just big me.” And while the QB1 of WWE rightfully reminded us of his status atop the wrestling hierarchy last week, the man who beat him for the title, Drew McIntyre, got a chance to talk his ish as well — and delivered. And super big ups to the young OG Je’Von Evans. He’s amazing us every week and on Monday may have pulled off the move of the year!!! We break everything down, including AJ Lee’s return. Tune in!
What the hell is going on? We have over two months until WrestleMania, and the card is still a long way from taking shape—but we do know what the explosive main event of the Showcase of the Immortals MUST be: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns. After The Tribal Chief made the entire roster acknowledge him once again by winning the Royal Rumble on Saturday night, he arrived in Philadelphia on Monday Night Raw ready to decide whether he would go after champion CM Punk or Drew McIntyre. With fans screaming in favor of Punk, the man himself came to the ring to face Roman in an absolutely nuclear confrontation. While there is a chance Punk could lose the strap between now and Mania—because he is a fighting, defending champion (and still has unfinished business with Finn Bálor)—the whole ROWP family, like millions of fans across the world, loves the prospect of The Second City Saint vs. The OTC1 at WrestleMania. The other huge winner from the Rumble was Liv Morgan. She bested 29 other women, throwing her best friend, “sister,” and former tag team championship partner Raquel Rodriguez over the top rope. We tell you why their tension will linger all the way to Mania and ultimately culminate in a match between the two Judgment Day members. We also break down why everyone now has to refer to Oba Femi as “Over Femi,” how WWE should handle having dos El Grande Americanos, and how Gunther should capitalize on the momentum from retiring Goldberg, John Cena, and now AJ Styles. Plus—who attacked Bron Breakker at the Rumble? We have our “Theories,” but it may just be another member of The Vision.
Everything is at stake, and the road to WrestleMania could break in countless directions. The 2026 Royal Rumble has arrived, and nearly a third of the participants in both the men’s and women’s matches feel like legitimate threats to punch their ticket to a WrestleMania main event. We zero in on our official picks for both Rumble winners—and explain why one member of the ROWP family would rather see Akira Tozawa enter the chaotic, big battle royal than Brock Lesnar. Later, we break down why the end of AJ Styles’ legendary career appears to be accelerating, and why Sami Zayn may have to wait until next year before finally capturing championship gold in Saudi Arabia.
This week on The Rap On Wrestling Podcast, the crew breaks down one of the most loaded episodes of Saturday Night’s Main Event in years, as WWE slammed its foot on the gas heading into Royal Rumble season. We’re talking about the chaos of that fatal four-way main event that put Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, Damian Priest, and Trick Williams in the same ring fighting for a championship opportunity — and what that result really means for Drew McIntyre’s title reign. Was this WWE testing who’s truly ready for the next level, or quietly setting up a major WrestleMania pivot? Plus, we dive deep into the Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu situation, which officially crossed from rivalry into straight-up warfare. With bodies flying, egos clashing, and Drew McIntyre inserting himself into the wreckage, the Road to WrestleMania suddenly feels a lot more unpredictable. We also get into the evolving Women’s Tag Title picture with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, and whether their run is quietly becoming one of the strongest women’s tag reigns WWE has ever booked. And of course, we break down AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura — a match that wasn’t just about winning, but about who still belongs in the main-event conversation in 2026. From title implications to locker-room politics, from veteran pride to rising-star pressure, Saturday Night’s Main Event gave us everything to argue about — and you know ROWP is going to tell it like it is. 🎙️ Tap in. The Road to the Rumble is getting dangerous.
Are darker days upon us? Literally darker days. After Cody Rhodes got way personal during his confrontation with Jacob Fatu on SmackDown, will we soon see The American Nightmare return to his heel ways — when he used to sport black hair and turn his back on the fans? Regardless, heel or face, the team is divided on who will win and how as he takes on The Samoan Werewolf on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Meanwhile, the belt Cody used to hold — the Undisputed Championship, now being worn by Drew McIntyre — has a group of contenders a mile long, starting with Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Damian Priest, and Sami Zayn. Hear who we think will emerge from the pack victorious in the Fatal Four-Way No. 1 Contender’s Match on Saturday Night’s Main Event. SNME also features a Women’s World Tag Team match, as well as AJ Styles fighting an old foe, Shinsuke Nakamura. While our ROWP crew feels AJ will win tonight, we’re not so sure if he can beat the Ring General, Gunther, in their upcoming Royal Rumble match — where The Phenomenal One has his career on the line. Will AJ get put out to pasture before he can have his John Cena–esque, year-long retirement run? That’s the darkest outcome of them all.
MJF’s plate is fully loaded. He has a handful of competitors—Hangman Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe, and now Brody King—all stepping up to challenge him for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Will we see another relatively short title run at the top of AEW, or does the current champ have the wherewithal to enjoy a long reign? We weigh in. Also, there’s a debate going on within our crew about whether playing hot potato with a world title makes a company’s main-event landscape look stronger or actually lessens the relevance of the strap. Over in WWE, we break down the flawless start CM Punk has had on Raw and why Jacob Fatu’s reemergence on SmackDown is poised to turn the title picture upside down.
Big things are on the horizon. Now that Drew McIntyre is the new Universal Champion, we’ll tell you what implications it has not just for the immediate SmackDown big-belt picture going into the Royal Rumble, but also WrestleMania in April. Cody vs. Jacob Fatu? We’re here for it, and our crew also smartens you up on why we think Oba Femi is not just the crown jewel of the recent call-ups, but why he’ll be a long-term difference-maker no matter which main roster brand he ends up on. On Raw, Bron Breakker lost his Heavyweight Championship match and was suspended indefinitely over two consecutive weeks. Despite his recent downturn, we break down why he’s still a main-event factor for the foreseeable future. Also, CM Punk vs. Finn Bálor is coming up, and our prediction is here as well.
New year, but it’s your same favorite crew. The ROWP family was in the building for the first WWE Raw of the year, and besides getting a chance to chop it up with the likes of Rey Mysterio, Penta, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, and Ivy Nile, we kicked it with our homies DJs Juanyto and Pretty Lou. Juanyto and Lou are featured special guests on this episode as we talk about CM successfully defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky winning the tag straps, and Becky Lynch taking her Women’s IC strap back. All that and some early predictions of dream matches we think we can see and where the WWE is headed in 2026.
There’s a lot to unpack this week, but nothing larger than John Cena’s retirement match. The ROWP family dissect Cena’s upcoming match against Gunther as well the how big of superstar Bron Breakker is building up to be. All that and more. Tune in now. Special cameo’s by N.O.R.E, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Kenny Smith, Speedy Morman, Stalley & Coremega.

AEW delivered a pay-per-view–level spectacle with “Blood And Guts” that just raised the stakes for WWE’s Survivor Series. Meanwhile, “Raw” served up an instantly iconic moment with their GOAT John Cena making the arena shake as he won the Grand Slam title that has eluded him in career, the Intercontinental Championship. On this episode, we break down all the carnage and championship drama. We get into why the AEW women flat-out stole the show, and why WWE’s women’s division is gearing up to do the same when the lights go bright at Survivor Series. Tap in — this week’s wrestling was wild, and we’ve got all the receipts.
In the words of the great philosopher Shawty Lo, “There must be two siiiiidddes!” Logan Paul went from heel to hero to victim and back to being bad—all in one episode of Raw.The Brons put the kibosh on Paul’s World Title hopes (for now) and made the multi-media maven have a great epiphany: if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. Now, with Logan aligned with The Vision, is he officially down with the clique, or just a temporary teammate for the upcoming WarGames?Even more questions abound—if they are teaming for the next PLE, who else will join their squad, and what combination of babyfaces will they square off against? Jey Uso and CM Punk seem like locks for two their collective will have to fight. Hear our takes here. Also, the ladies stay shining—we assess the state of play in the women’s division with some in-depth analysis of Jade Cargill, The Kabuki Warriors, and more. Keep it locked on The Rap On Wrestling Podcast.
The look, the talent, the charisma, the determination — Jade Cargill’s got it all. And now she’s fulfilled the prophecy, of winning the Women’s World Title. We break down what we’d like to see from her reign (hopefully a long one) and why a dream one on one with Bianca Belair should be held off until WrestleMania. We also show love to the woman Jade squashed for the strap at SNME, Tiffany Stratton. Despite back to back major losses to Jade and Stephanie Vaquer, Tiffy spent most of her time on top during an incredible 2025 campaign thus far.Speaking of new champs, C.M. Punk is back at the pinnacle after beating Jey Uso for the vacated World Heavyweight Championship. We get into what’s next for Punk, and what direction Jey should go after taking such a tough loss. And of course, you can’t talk WWE without mentioning Roman Reigns. His shadow is still looming large, and our crew debates which title we’d like to see him go after when he returns — Cody’s or Punk’s.lus, that big announcement about the upcoming tournament involving all WWE brands to decide who faces John Cena in the final match of his retirement run? Yeah, we’ve got thoughts. The ROWP family breaks down why this is a total game-changer and who we’d love to see compete for the honor of closing out The GOAT’s legendary career.
Jade Cargil turned heel and we love it!!! Not so much the same vines with Jey Uso following the same dark path. Fear not Yeeteers, we break down why Jey is just misunderstood and will remain face. Plus, our predictions for Saturday Night’s Main Event’s actual main event where Jey will face CM Punk for the vacated world heavyweight championship. Also our other predictions regarding Cargil Vs Tiffany Stratton and Cody Rhodes taking on Drew McIntyre are all in deck.
