On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting reporter Max Torres is joined by Erik Skopil of DuckTerritory for an awesome Oregon Football chat! Max and Erik dissect Dan Lanning's willingness to promote from within to fill out his coaching staff following departures this offseason. They discuss Drew Mehringer and Chris Hampton and how these hires provide continuity when it's become so hard to find in the sport. The two also discuss how high the standard has been set for Lanning and the Ducks heading into 2026 after each of the last two seasons ended with blowout losses in the playoffs. And lastly, could this be Oregon's best wide receiver room ever? It's certainly possible with the talent Ross Douglas has to work with. On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting reporter Max Torres is joined by Spencer McLaughlin of the Locked On Ducks Podcast! Max and Spencer dive into three different areas, starting with what former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola will be at Oregon. He's stepping into some big shoes by wearing Marcus Mariota's hallowed No. 8, but the former 5-star has all the tools to reinvent himself in Eugene like Bo Nix and Dante Moore did. Next, Oregon has one of the highest percentages of returning production in college football at 66% percent. Who stands out apart from the obvious at quarterback and defensive line? And finally, Max and Spencer highlight some of the top position battles in spring football as the Ducks look to carve out new roles following key departures from the 2025 squad. Canady and Benson both spent just one season in Eugene but they've raised their draft stock significantly and will most likely hear their names called next month by an NFL team. Max and Zac also dive into a bit of discussion on Oregon Football's two new coordinators in Drew Mehringer and Chris Hampton before highlighting some of the Ducks freshmen they're most excited about from the 2026 recruiting class. Oregon has become an offensive line powerhouse in the last seven to eight years. The recent run of success started with Mario Cristobal. Then Adrian Klemm came in. When he left Dan Lanning opted to bring back a familiar face in A'lique Terry, who started on the Oregon staff as a graduate assistant in 2019. Since Terry has taken over the Oregon offensive line the Ducks have finished as finalists for the Joe Moore award each of the last three seasons and produced a first-round NFL Draft pick in Josh Conerly Jr. Terry, while younger than most coaches in his position, has more than solidified himself as one of the best in the business when it comes to coaching and developing offensive lineman. ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting Reporter Max Torres sits down for an insightful conversation with the Oregon Ducks offensive line coach. The two discuss the 2025 season, some of the newer faces along the offensive line heading into 2026 and so much more! You won't want to miss this episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast. On the latest episode of the Duck Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting Insider Max Torres sits down with Kyle Clements of 107.9 FM Tee it Up Southern Oregon for a Duck recruiting update. Max and Kyle talk about a range of topics including a handful of Oregon's priority target in the 2027 class including 5-stars Honor Fa'alave-Johnson and Will Mencl. Both players have the Ducks among their top group with Oregon picking up a prediction to land Mencl last month. Fa'alave-Johnson has the Ducks in his newly-released top six and plans to return to Eugene this month. Also discussed on this episode are some of Oregon's top flip targets like Georgia cornerback commit Donte Wright Jr., Alabama quarterback commit Trent Seaborn and Ohio State EDGE David Jacobs. Oregon's 2027 class only has five commitments but is poised to grow here in the spring months and especially in June as prospects take their official visits and pick their school of choice before the start of their senior seasons in August. Oregon is returning a ton of talent for 2026. The Ducks return their starting quarterback in Dante Moore, their starting center in Iapani 'Poncho' Laloulu and their entire starting defensive line. That's all well and good, but there's still plenty of uncertainty surrounding what some people view as the preseason No.1 team in college football. Dan Lanning once again didn't lose a starter to the transfer portal and he adds a top-five recruiting class to the fold with a program record four 5-star prospects. If all goes according to plan, the Ducks should once again be right in the thick of the national championship race. Oregon Football and Recruiting Insider Max Torres is joined by Spencer McLaughlin of LockedOn Ducks to dive into some of the biggest questions facing the Ducks in 2026 ahead of Spring football starting next month. The offseason is in full swing, which makes it the perfect time to bring on guests! On today's episode, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting reporter Max Torres is joined by QB11 of the QB11 Show and the ScoopDuck message boards! The two talk about Oregon's top-five ranked 2026 recruiting class, quarterback Dante Moore's decision to return for another season and Oregon's two new coordinators in Drew Mehringer and Chris Hampton. A majority of Oregon's 2026 class is already on campus and enrolled as early enrollees and the transfer portal haul is complete unless there are any late depth additions. The Ducks are getting a lot of buzz as a top five team for the 2026 season with one of the best quarterbacks and one of the best overall rosters in college football. The recruiting dead period is here but there's still plenty to talk about on all things Oregon recruiting. The Ducks' 2027 class gained two new commitments with the additions of 4-star offensive tackle Drew Fielder from Servite in Southern California and 3-star offensive tackle Avery Michael from Turlock in Northern California. Oregon's 2027 class is now up to four total commitments and all of them come in the trenches. The Ducks are trending for a new quarterback following two consecutive Junior Day recruiting weekends out in Eugene. The 2026 College Football Season is officially over with No. 1 Indiana defeating No. 10 Miami 27-21 in the national championship game on Monday night. So that begs the question, just how close are Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks to capturing their own and bringing that trophy back to Eugene for the first time? ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football experts Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into that very question on today's episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast. Lanning gets one more year with his quarterback in Dante Moore and he has his entire starting defensive line coming back for one last ride. Max and Justin also break down a few of the latest transfer portal commitments for Oregon. Over the weekend the Ducks added some key depth pieces to their defensive line in North Carolina's D'Antre Robinson, ULM's Jerome Simmons and Oregon State's Bleu Dantzler. There's plenty to discuss as we head into another important and event-filled offseason for Oregon Football. There's been no shortage of stories around Oregon Football and the transfer portal. As of Tuesday afternoon January 13 the Ducks have seen more than 20 players enter the transfer portal and nine players from other programs announce their commitments to Oregon. Quarterback Dylan Raiola and safety Koi Perich are two of the most significant pickups for Dan Lanning and the Ducks, who are retooling their roster to make another run at the national championship in 2026. One of the stranger developments we've seen since the Peach Bowl loss to Indiana has been a wave of departures at defensive line. After retaining all four of their starting defensive linemen, virtually all of Oregon's depth behind those starters along the defensive line has eroded, with Ashton Porter, Terrance Green and Tionne Gray all intending to enter the transfer portal. Will the Ducks be able to lure any of them back? Only time will tell. ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football experts Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into all the latest. The No. 5 Oregon Ducks get another shot at the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers in the 2026 Peach Bowl in Atlanta. The Ducks are flying high after a 23-0 win over Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl, but now they'll face Indiana without one of their best players after Jordon Davison broke his collarbone. Oregon's defense has been dominant, but can their offense, led by Dante Moore, but together a complete performance and do enough to beat the Hoosiers? There's a lot of question marks heading into this game and College Football Analyst Landon Tengwall joins the show to break it all down! It's Peach Bowl Week! The No. 5 Oregon Ducks will get a rematch with the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers in Atlanta on Friday. Will Dante Moore be able to lead the Ducks to a win against the only opponent the Ducks have fallen to this season? How will Jordon Davison's injury and absence impact the offense? Max and Justin also dive into the latest transfer portal developments with Jayden Limar announcing his plans to enter the portal. Oregon's running back room and secondary are both looking thinner than they did at the end of the regular season at the most important time of the year. The Ducks are slight underdogs in most betting markets and they have a chance to punch their ticket to the national championship if they can put together a complete game in Atlanta. ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting reporter Max Torres breaks down No. 5 Oregon's 23-0 win over No. 4 Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl. The Ducks, fueled by their defense, dominated from start to finish. Oregon forced four turnovers, their most in a game since 2023, which coincidentally was the last time they faced and defeated Texas Tech. Freshman phenom Brandon Finney Jr. was the star of the day on defense, grabbing two interceptions and recovering a fumble as Texas Tech's offensive struggles continued all day. Offensively, Oregon had a hot and cold performance. The Ducks couldn't get much going on the ground, rushing for just 64 yards. But they were able to move the ball through the air despite a vicious pass rush from David Bailey and Texas Tech. Dante Moore threw one interception and Oregon was able to play ball control en route to their 13th win of the season. Oregon's postseason run continues and we're talking all about it! The College Football Playoff is finally here and the No. 5 Oregon Ducks are set to host the No. 12 James Madison Dukes at home in Eugene this weekend. After going 11-1 in the regular season with their lone loss coming to Indiana, the Ducks have an ideal path to a national title. That all gets started this weekend. ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football insider Max Torres sits down with Ted Leroux of That Show Out West to take a look at some of the top storylines around the Oregon program heading into their first-round matchup. Will the Ducks get more help at wide receiver with Dakorien Moore, Gary Byrant Jr. and Evan Stewart all missing time this year? What's the latest around Dante Moore's NFL Draft decision? Is winning one playoff game enough to be considered a successful year and taking the next step as a program? All that and more in the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast. On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres sits down with Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins. No one covers the West Coast and more specifically the talent-rich hotbed of Southern California quite like Biggins. Max and Greg discuss some of Oregon's 2026 signees like Anthony 'Tank' Jones, Davon Benjamin, Bryson Beaver and more. They also take a big picture look at some of the big picture recruiting topics for Oregon like development and their ability to stack elite recruiting class. Additional topics include the 2027 class and how the West Coast talent could be stacking up to be one of the best in a decade.
