ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres and Justin Hopkins take their first look at No. 13 Oregon vs. No. 21 UCLA in Week 6. Both teams are coming off of bye weeks and this matchup will be the second time Dan Lanning and Bob Chesney have faced off as head coaches. But it'll be the first since Chesney left James Madison, who he took to the playoffs last year, for Westwood as he tries to breathe new life into a UCLA program that hasn't been relevant in years. Oregon is coming off of a 41-27 win over the USC Trojans and losing quarterback Dante Moore to a concussion. Dylan Raiola stepped in seamlessly and the offense didn't miss a beat. The Oregon defense came up with the stops it needed to and the Ducks left Los Angeles with a very important win to keep their season on track. This Week 6 matchup will tell us more about where the Ducks are in their journey to reaching their full potential as they welcome a talented and perhaps more importantly, well-coached team to Eugene. ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres and Justin Hopkins sit down to do a bye week check-in around Oregon Football. The Ducks sit at 3-1 on the year and will face an undefeated UCLA team that looks dangerous under new head coach Bob Chesney. Oregon's offense certainly looks like it's capable of putting up tons of points, lead by great talent at wide receiver, running back and tight end. But what's the ceiling of the offensive line as they struggled out of the gate? They played their best game against USC, but we still don't know how they'll perform against the elite teams of college football. The Ducks made some strides defensively against USC, particularly holding the Trojans to 2 for 11 on third down. The defensive line looked more like the group we expected going into the year, specifically A'Mauri Washington, who is getting closer to full health. ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres sits down with Zachary Neel of DucksWire to take a deeper dive into Oregon Football's 41-27 win over the USC Trojans in Week 4. Oregon had a ton of questions that they needed to answer about their team heading into the matchup, and while not all of them were answered, we still learned a lot about what the Ducks can be in 2026. They should be fine at quarterback with or without Dante Moore, as Dylan Raiola rose to the occasion and looked every bit the 5-star recruit he was coming out of high school. Oregon's offensive line had its best game of the season and the Ducks got big-time contributions from their star playmakers on offense. The defense, while not without its own concerns, also stepped up to get off the field after forcing big stops and getting more consistent pressure on quarterback Jayden Maiava. ScoopDuckOn3's Max Torres and Justin Hopkins give react to Oregon's monster 41-27 win over USC on the road in Los Angeles. Saturday's game became a shootout as both Oregon and USC's defenses did not have days to remember. The Ducks won the battle at the line of scrimmage and were able to run the ball enough and bottle up USC's run to get the win. A scary hit to Dante Moore knocked him out of the game and sent him to the hospital, but backup quarterback Dylan Raiola steadied the ship and carried Oregon to a huge win they really needed. The Ducks move to 3-1 on the year and 1-0 in Big Ten play as they enter their bye week before facing an undefeated UCLA team at home in Week 6.
