They try to male the analogy between the engagement and wedding period and ceremony but ignore the "up to one year" period that the groome spends at his father's house while only including the seven days: If the seven days are seven years in which the bride is in the son's house (not the father's!), the the up to one year period must also be up to 365 years In which the son is away preparing a place. But Jesus has been away for almost 2,000 years.
