Justin Walley has travelled the world as a football fan and a football coach - whether that be forming a football club in Riga or managing Matebeleland in the CONIFA World Cup, Justin has plenty of stories to tell. We discussed his storied adventures as a coach, but we focused on his latest venture: coaching the Marshall Islands - the last nation in the world to have a national football team. Travelling across the world to coach in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the ups and downs of helping to build a national team from scratch and being on the bench for the nation's first ever matches in Arkansas - Justin told us quite a tale of his time with the Marshall Islands. You can find Justin Walley on X at @JustinWalley10 and the Marshall Islands at @SoccerFedMI. You can also find the Marshall Islands on Instagram at @rmisoccer. You can find the Marshall Islands shop - where you can buy one of those lovely shirts we talk about on the pod - here: https://marshall-islands-soccer-federation.square.site/s/shop If you enjoy the episode, please leave us a 5 star review on your podcast provider of choice - it really helps us! We discussed his excellent book and the global adventures it took him , as well as digging into some of the shirts explored in the book and how they are a reflection of football off the pitch and modern society in general. Plus, Matt brings along some shirts from his own collection to suggest for a possible sequel to More than a Shirt. You can find Joey on X at @josephmdurso and on Instagram at @joeydurso92.
