Many years ago, Christine, along with Father John Sims Baker became interested in a young Italian Activist, Pier Giorgio Frassati, dedicated to Catholic social issues to aid the poor and less fortunate living in his hometown of Turin. This young man was beatified in 1990 and is to be canonized on August 3, 2025. Christine has written a book about this young man who passed away of polio at the age of 24. Her story will help bring this young man to life.
