Description
20 years in the Navy, retiring as the Chief in Charge of the Weather Detachment at NAS New Orleans. Went into Law Enforcement after that, then after Katrina we moved to Oregon, finally becoming the Director of Emergency Management for Tillamook County. Retired and moved to Lebanon 3-4 years ago but still doing weather. Have been on Radio in New Orleans and several stations in the coastal Pacific Northwest. While I am still the forecaster for the local Tillamook news folks, I figured I should do it as a public service for Lebanon as well, so here it is! Hope you enjoy it. I have an explanation on why things are a little weird of late. Plus I tell you when the next rain is coming, and I even threw in how cold it got this morning....
Are we done with the rain yet...is it gonna stay on the cooler side? Yep, it's all here!
A soggy start to October, then things may just dry out over the weekend and are looking warmer and dryer for the start of next week!

Happy Labor Day everyone, and welcome to the first day of September. Things will be warming up some, then cooler for the weekend. When will we have a chance of rain again? The long range models suggest not until next week....
