This is the second episode of a new seasonal podcast series of music, showcases and conversation recorded in front of a live audience in The Loft at The Ivy Club London. Following a successful pilot earlier in the year we return with an eclectic line up spanning soul, jazz and pop rock, to country and even opera. This is the first/pilot episode of a new podcast series of music, showcases and conversation recorded in front of a live audience in The Loft at The Ivy Club London on 17 March 2025. It’s presented by award-winning producer/broadcaster Jonathan Levy and music marketing manager Carolin Alkegaard - who has worked on Swedish TV shows like the Grammy Awards and Eurovision Song Contest qualifiers, amongst many more. The show features:Singer/songwriter/pianist Olivia Leisk accompanied by guitarist Michael Bryan-Harris.Showcases by guitar virtuoso Vraell - debut album out March 28 - and Swedish sensational singer-songwriter Winona Oak – latest EP Salt out now.A special feature on legendary glam-rock guitarist/composer/arranger Mick Ronson who changed David Bowie’s career with The Spiders from Mars and went on to work with Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Morrissey, Elton John, Ian Hunter and more. We’re joined by Mick’s sister Maggi, who sings her own tribute to Mick, who died of cancer aged 46 in 1993. Plus, Rick Welton, the Director of a new public art trail of rats (Ronson’s first band was The Rats) who also promoted Ronson’s early concerts.
