From Sweden (imported with NO excise taxes) Yoyo xno return to TheDavidBowersAwards as they promised a few weeks ago, with their newly-released album "PEARL"! In between wreaking havoc on the interview, the boys share tracks from an incredibly creative and original album of 'pearls' they have written and recorded over the years. I don't know if it was Yo or yo but one of them was constantly interrupting with shouts and comments but, they couldn't overshadow this collection with its diversity and originality! No matter what you liked about Yoyo xno in the past, you'll LOVE "Pearls"!

This time he brings a rocking new release with a brand new sound. At the suggestion of his lovely wife Shawn, he adds horns for the very first time! The David BowersAwards presents another 'Artists Special' - This week presenting the Los Angeles-based hybrid rock band In The Stars from SalterGann Management. In The Stars has a high-energy, alternative rock sound they describe as "high energy melodic/alternative rock. They bring influences from bands like Green Day, Muse and FooFighters with a southern roots angle to create 'the In The Stars sound.' Three dedicated musician you can relate with and feel!The band comes to TheDavidBowersAwards through their recent signing with SalterGann Management, and we are fortunate to have the CEO of SalterGann with us this week, Phyllis Salter Gann. Phyllis is the founder of the SalterGann management group including promotions, radio, records and distribution. She is a voting member of the The Recording Academy of the United States (Grammy's). Phyllis tells us about her companies' work and what it takes to get their attention!
With a degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State and a radio career including a Program Director of the year award, Larry Pareigis was a natural to head his own label/talent management company, Nine North Records Label Group. Larry shares his background and brings two of his artists.Nine North artist Troy Kidder is a successful recording artist who is also president of Kidder Media marketing & public relations and is a "dad who likes to rock!" He is also an author, corporate trainer, husband and dad! In addition to sharing his music with us, Troy tells us about his busy life and career.Nine North artist Bradseth, whose, 'Lies,' we share, along with his hypnotic 'S.M.B.' (Do we dare tell what it means?) Getting to know the artist in the way that only we do. His style can cross genres as demonstrated on his album, 'Blues Back Pages.'Jacob Chacko is here for the first time after his single "Fallen Dreams" caught listeners attention on this show. Here he talks about his music and his own personal history. HIs music covers diverse subjects and sounds but comes from his own roots.
