Join the Drama and return to Middle-earth and the Shire in Chapter One of Concerning Hobbits. In Part Two, we follow Elanor and Fastred ("Ted" for short) to the Shire's Capital city, Michel Delving. Elanor is bound to treat with Mayor Hob Whitfoot over the rights to Bag End in order to keep the special abode in her family's possession. Unbeknownst to her, foul play is involved, but with the help of her loving Fastred, old friend Junie Whitfurrows, and a providential visit from her Samdad she's got more than a fighting chance to beat the spiteful mayor's ill intentions.Elanor's blossoming story-telling prowess on display, we learn of the eventful (and sorrowful) history between the Gamgees and Whitfoots, revealing the origins of Elanor's current predicament.Piqued by the curious eyes of a hobbit in a majestic portrait in Town Hole and many nostalgic reunions, Elanor finds herself pulled back to the Red Book and the stories of her youth. And what's more, she feels a magical call to get lost again and return to the great tales and days of old. This Part Two version is a ROUGH CUT which will be replaced with the final cut once it is completed. We have been developing an approach to share more of the story with you as we create it, in an attempt to get this beautiful tale out as readily as possible.
