Episode #9 of Movie Night and its a Disney Movie from the early 2000s: Lilo and Stitch! This family friendly choice was picked by Blue's girlfriend something we all found very enjoyable. I know that I saw this movie around the time it originally came out, but wasn't a Disney classic I found myself going back to watch again and again. So I was surprised just how much of the Sci-Fi plotlines I had forgotten about until we got into this one. Episode #7 of Movie Night had us watching something a bit different, something neither of us had seen before, and something we had vastly different reactions to...The Northman is a movie that movies between a sort of surreal aesthetic and a grim realistic one; it also does an amazing job depicting a very accurate image of what life in Viking culture would have been like (which honestly is what made me interested in it.). Episode #6 of Movie Night and this one was a long time coming; Blue had attempted to watch this movie ages ago but due to some dodgy issues with youtube's movie rental service it never happened...until it did! This somewhat infamous classic comedy from the 70s is absolutely hilarious, but if you're a person sensitive to the politically incorrect its probably not for you (you have been warned). Also apologies for some of the umm-ing and ahhh-ing in this video, due to scheduling issues we had a 3-week delay between watching the movie and actually recording our discussion of it, hopefully it isn't too grating.
