Master Your Money

Master Your Money

2025-05-0901:00:31

In this recording I discuss “Master Your Money” by Ron Blue, with my good friend Peter Campbell. First published in 1986, “Master Your Money” is a clear and compelling treatment of the Christian principles of money management. In essence it is a guide for believers as they work towards confidence and contentment regarding earthly possessions. This recording was made in May 2025. It is rough and ready but I hope you find it helpful. We Would See Jesus

We Would See Jesus

2025-04-1142:27

In this recording I discuss “We would see Jesus” by Roy Hession, with my good friends Ric Craig and Matty Campbell. First published in 1958, “We would see Jesus” argues that the key to a healthy and growing Christian walk is perceiving the manner in which Jesus attends to our fundamental spiritual needs. In essence then, it is an exploration of how to understand and appropriate the Gospel. This recording was made towards the end of 2020. Lockdown was still a thing. Good quality microphones apparently were not. Apologies for the audio quality. Hopefully the discussion make it worth it! This is a public episode. In this recording I discuss “Difficult Conversations” by Douglas Stone, Bruce Patton and Sheila Heen, with my good friends Emma Murphy and Kirsty Campbell. First published in 1999, and coming out of the Harvard Negotiation Project, this book delves into interpersonal conflict resolution, and helps readers navigate major internal and external barriers they face when in conflict with those around them. Whilst written for a secular market, it is of immediate value to those keen to resolve well conflicts which arise inside the church. This recording was made towards the end of 2021. This is a public episode. If you would like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit jamieyohanis.substack.com
