Description
Early in my sobriety journey I realised that in order to stay sober I would have to learn how to create my life. A life lived from a space that is actually true for me. This is something that I have been & still are exploring, and the tools of Access Consciousness®️ have been a massive contribution along the way.
In this podcast I wish to share with you a different perspective on Addiction, one where you don’t have to make yourself wrong ever again.
Join me & my guests for raw, vulnerable conversations filled with questions & tools to access more of what is true for you.

In this episode of the “What’s the value of addiction?” Podcast I’m exploring comfort zones & what is beyond them.In my own journey of consciousness & sobriety I’ve had to push myself beyond what’s comfortable in many ways. Before getting sober alcohol was my cushion, my greatest comfort zone that I always could go back to when things got tough. I realised that behind my addiction to alcohol was an unwillingness to be truly present in my life. Judging myself, separate from others & that constant heaviness was comfortable & known. Joy, happiness & ease on the other hand was not something I could control or define and therefore way beyond what I thought I had available to me. But what if every day could be about what you CAN choose, not about what you’ve already chosen. So I started to explore what I could choose that would be an acknowledgment of what is actually true for me, what would inspire me & light that fire inside me once again. Long story short…many dance lessons later slowly but surely I came back to life & back to being present; as ME.Key takeaways & tools;• Every day; destroy & uncreate everything you’ve defined yourself as. Who would you like to be today?• What if every day could be about what you can choose, not about what you’ve already chosen.• “All of life comes to me with ease, joy & glory” - repeat this mantra 10 times in the morning & 10 times in the evening. In this episode of the “What’s the value of addiction?” Podcast I’m joined by my great friend Nikolett Erdelyi.Nikolett is an Access Consciousness facilitator, author and speaker living in Budapest, Hungary. Nikolett found the tools of Access & changed her life completely; from struggling with alcoholism, depression & financial stress to building a successful business from scratch, reaching & inspiring hundreds of people in Hungary & worldwide. In this episode we have a candid conversation about addiction and how alcohol & drugs gave us both a false sense of relaxation, that in actuality was an escape from the intensity of the world & our awareness of it. We talk about how drinking every day, doing drugs every weekend & being constantly hungover was considered normal and how the awareness of it as addiction & self-abuse came years later. We also discuss the shift from depression to creation and regaining a sense of creativity & lust for life thanks to the tools of Access Consciousness. And we vulnerably chat about how still to this day life isn’t perfect and how the rollercoaster of living takes us on unexpected twists & turns as everything’s changing all the time. We chat about the constant search for more and how there’s no right way to do anything; only the question “what would I like to create today?”. And how creation can come from relaxation & space instead of push & force. Key takeaways;• Instead of telling your life what you want to do with it let your life speak and tell you what it wants to do with you. • It’s OK not to be OK.• The sense of peace & space can feel uncomfortable & wrong - but that’s actually the space that you can create your life from. • If you feel lost, are you actually lost or are you aware of the world? • Ask every day; What can I change? What can I choose from here? What can I do different? RESOURCES & LINKS “Let Your Life Speak” book by Parker J. In this episode of the “What’s the Value of Addiction?” Podcast I have a really fun, creative conversation with my guest Amanda Anderson.Amanda is an Access Consciousness Certified Facilitator & Joy of Business facilitator. She has used the tools of Access to create her life & business in a dynamically different way for the last 10 years. She’s also been working with the business of Access for many years & her favourite thing is to create business from a space of possibilities & joy.In this episode we chat about all things creation & business. And how taking two more steps is actually about getting out of judgement and having allowance for the times & days where you’re seemingly moving backwards. Asking the question “What’s right about this?” can be a powerful tool to stop judging what you’ve decided is wrong & bad and instead move forward. We talk about how as kids we have access to this generative, joyful energy that we seem to lose track of along the way of becoming adults, especially when it comes to business. The more serious we get & the more pressure we put on our creations the less joy we allow ourselves (and it definitely doesn’t allow the business to grow). We also chat about the magic & miracles that shows up when you ask every day “What can I add to my life?”. This question combined with the willingness to keep going & never stop is what we both have noticed allows for unexpected, amazing possibilities to show up in our lives.Key takeaways;• What’s my reality with this?• What would it be like to create my life from that space of generative energy?• The only way to make a different choice is by enjoying the choices you’re making right now.• Anything you’ve eliminated as a choice you will eventually have to choose it to prove that you have choice.• We’re so entrained to being constantly productive, and that it’s the “doing” that is valuable. But what if it’s actually more about what you’re choosing to BE. RESOURCES & LINKS www.amandaanderson.net www.brendonwatt.comwww.theclearingstatement.com www.accessconsciousness.com
Welcome to episode #6 of the “What’s the Value of Addiction?” podcast. For this episode I have the amazing Marilyn Bradford as my guest.Marilyn is a psychotherapist, international speaker, author, and Access Consciousness Certified Facilitator with more than thirty years of experience in the addiction field. She has facilitated change and possibility for thousands around the world.
Marilyn is the creator of Right Recovery For You, a unique and radical approach to ending any addictive or compulsive behaviour. She herself has a history of addiction and spent 17 years following the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) before she found Access Consciousness. In this episode we talk about how AA and its structure can be a great contribution especially in the beginning of your journey to sobriety. Although both mine & Marilyn’s experience is that AA does not teach you how to create your life, that’s where we both have (and still are) using the tools of Access Consciousness every day.We have a very vulnerable conversation about how addiction can be like your “best buddy” and how the exploration of living without addiction is really about learning to be with yourself (which is NOT always comfortable). We also talk about how addiction can show up in so many different ways; alcohol & drugs yes absolutely, but also as perfectionism, being right, being wrong, being the perfect mom etc.
And with any kind of addiction you’re leaving your being, you’re leaving yourself.Key takeaways;- What if you can be grateful for the thing you were addicted to - how much was it there to serve you?- Creating separation & distance to create change never works- Addiction is an energy looking for a target- Kindness with yourself can be a strong talk, it’s not always being niceRESOURCES & LINKS www.marilynbradford.com

And how being the source for the creation of your life takes you on a unique journey that is beyond logic, linearity & beyond what you can figure out.We also talk about making choices and empowering yourself to know that no matter what shows up you can change it - and to know that it’s all part of the journey, a journey with no rules that is different for each & every one of us. What would be different in your life if you chose presence and gratitude - beyond regrets & judgement. What you be in the world makes a difference, and when you choose from BEING you’re not just choosing for you, you’re choosing for everyone that is looking for something different.Key takeaways;• If you’re present in your life you’ll know when you’re bullshitting yourself• The journey has no rules, what is true for YOU?• Beyond regret there’s gratitude - all the choices you’ve made have led you to where you are right now• Choosing from BEING is a choice for everyone• You always get more of what you judge and what you put your attention on & your energy intoRESOURCES & LINKS https://www.brendonwatt.com/onechoicehttps://www.accessconsciousness.comhttp://access.me
Welcome to this episode of the “What’s the value of addiction?” podcast. For this episode I’m joined by my very good friend Dr. Dain Heer.Dr. Dain Heer is the co-creator of Access Consciousness®. He travels the world facilitating classes inviting people to know what they know & to explore their unique energetic capacities. He is one of my closest friends & someone I am beyond words grateful for to have in my life.In this conversation we talk about the lies we have been taught to validate & live from, the biggest one of them all being that we are powerless & somehow flawed beings. We talk about how many addicts are using their addiction as a gate master, making sure they never unleash themselves & what they have decided is evil & destructive about them. We also touch upon how to get someplace different in our lives we have to be willing to make different (and sometimes uncomfortable) choices. It’s the choices we make that creates the forward-moving motion, not trying to understand the “why”. In this episode you’ll also find some brilliant questions & tools that I personally have used a lot in my sobriety journey. One of them being the Access Consciousness® mantra “All of Life comes to Me with Ease, Joy & Glory”.What if you’re not wrong my friend? And what if none of the choices you have made were wrong? What if you’re actually potent as f#uck? What could show up differently in your life if you embraced that potency rather than using addiction to hide it?Key takeaways;- “All of life comes to me with Ease, Joy & Glory” repeat this mantra 10 times in the morning & 10 times in the evening. - What if you’re not wrong, what if you’re potent as f#ck? - If you’re making the why and the understanding of the problem the source for going beyond the problem you will stay forever stuck in the problem.- How much of addiction is to directly limit your potency?RESOURCES & LINKS http://drdainheer.com https://brendonwatt.comhttps://www.accessconsciousness.com
Welcome to this third episode of the “What’s the value of addiction?” podcast, with guest Gary Douglas. Gary Douglas is the founder of Access Consciousness®. He has relentlessly created beyond this reality for his whole life, always following his awareness & gone further than most people think is possible. He is one of my greatest inspirations & one of the few people that truly has my back.In this episode we have a very honest conversation about the beginning of my sobriety & how Gary was the catalyst for the biggest (and most uncomfortable change) I’ve ever undertaken. Sometimes true caring is tough love, something that Gary was willing to deliver that I now know saved my life.True caring is recognising when you’re enabling someone’s addiction vs. when you’re actually helping. It’s also recognising what someone can receive & what they can’t. We also talk about what it means to have your own back, and how you can’t give what you don’t have. And what does it mean to have brutal honesty with self? Something both myself & Gary have to work at every day. Key takeaways;- No one else can be a source for you, they can only be a contribution.- Need is a creation, not a reality. - True freedom lies in being willing to be, and knowing you can be, everything.- Choice is the creation of all possibility.RESOURCES & LINKS www.ellugar.com www.brendonwatt.comwww.accessconsciousness.com
Welcome to this second episode of the “What’s the value of addiction?” podcast, with guest Shannon O’Hara.Shannon O’Hara is an Access Consciousness® Certified Facilitator & the founder of Talk to the Entities®. Shannon grew up in a family of addicts, both her dad & brothers struggled with substance abuse. Today she holds classes & workshops around the world educating people about the spirit world, as well as topics such as relationships, money, creation and more. In this episode me & Shannon talk about entity awareness & addiction & how drugs and alcohol is one of the most common ways to suppress your awareness (including awareness of the spirit world). Many addicts have a lot of psychic abilities & capacities that they haven’t been allowed to have & are shutting down. Drugs & alcohol is one of the socially acceptable suppressor of the awareness that doesn’t fit or match. Entities are not responsible for addiction but un-dealt with entity awareness can be a component. And in the sobriety journey it can be a huge advantage to learn how to deal with the spirit world. Key takeaways;- Many people are suppressing & avoiding their awareness (including awareness of the spirit world) with drugs, alcohol and other type of addictions. - Victimhood is a justification for powerlessness. Beyond making yourself a victim is true empowerment.
Questions to ask;- What is the gift in all of this?- What if your greatest wrongness is your greatest strongness?RESOURCES & LINKS

Welcome to the very first episode of this podcast. My name is Brendon Watt, I will be your host. I am an alcoholic & an addict, when I’m recording this I’ve been sober for almost 3 years. On this podcast I will use the Access Consciousness®️ tools & also have raw, vulnerable conversations with some amazing guests. In the beginning of my journey of sobriety I could only see & judge my addiction as a weakness. It has not been an easy path to walk on since then but with the help of these amazing tools I can today acknowledge addiction to be one of my greatest strengths.*Alcohol was my backdoor, my escape, my way out whenever life got too intense. And the thought of having no alcohol at all in my life terrified me. I really desired to change it, I just didn’t think I could. I couldn’t see how I could get through it. I wanted to be done with it, I wanted to be healed from addiction & go back to being a nice guy that everybody likes. But what I learned in the process was that it’s not about being “done”, it’s about allowing your life to be an on-going process of healing. What if there was no finish line?In my exploration I have had many dark days. Days filled with anxiety, panic, depression, even suicidal thoughts. This journey can be an intense roller coaster and I hope this podcast can be a resource for you for support, new perspectives & tools to use to have more ease & kindness in your life.In this podcast I, together with my guests, will dive deeper into topics such as;• Presence• Exploring the gifts that are hidden behind everything• Acknowledging the value of YOU• Forgiveness• Getting over self-hatred• Moving beyond shame • Living from integrity • AllowanceRESOURCES & LINKSwww.brendonwatt.comwww.accessconsciousness.com
