Some call it “radical faith.” We call it walking with God. Join us as we wrestle with what it means to obey when every part of you wants to quit, and how surrendering to God’s will can open doors you never thought you’d walk through.
In this episode of the CosCast, we sat down with Jeff Mathis, the dynamic base leader of YWAM Nashville. Jeff shares his passion for empowering the next generation, particularly Gen Z, to engage in missions. He recounts his transformative journey from a troubled high schooler to a fervent advocate for youth involvement in the Great Commission. In this episode of the YWAM Colorado Springs Podcast, I delve into the theme of radical obedience and what it means to say yes to God even when faced with fear and uncertainty. I share personal stories, including a tense encounter involving a stolen laptop, to illustrate the lengths we often go to for material possessions. Yet, how much more should we be willing to risk when God calls us to step out in faith? We explore biblical examples, like Noah's unwavering faith in building the ark despite seeming foolish to others. Join me as we discuss the importance of co-creating with God and offering our first fruits in obedience.
This Monday Night, Ben Phillips delivers a powerful message on the kind of radical, unwavering faith Gen Z is called to walk in. Drawing from Scripture and personal stories, he challenges listeners to stop living safe and start living surrendered — trusting God with bold, seemingly crazy steps of obedience. Whether it’s starting something new, holding onto purity, or stepping out despite fear, this episode is a wake-up call to live a faith-filled life that will leave a legacy. Are you ready to say yes again?
Chelsie Phillips teaches out of Romans 12:1-2 and what it looks like to be a kingdom influencer. She talks about biblical literacy among Gen Z, how 36% identify as christian but of those only 4% have a biblical world view. Rather then conforming to the world, we as christians must be transformed by Gods word, taking every part of it as truth. There is no excuses for not reading the bible and Chelsie challenges us to make a commitment to read the bible at least 4 times a week. She shares about the importance of making it a priority and also shares statistics showing the positive impact that it can have on all aspects of life.If you want to join us on a Monday Night in person we host them in Colorado Springs the first Monday night of the month at 7pm. The address is 505 popes bluff trail, Colorado Springs, CO. 80907. We hope to see you there.
