The USL Players Association has yet to come to terms with league headquarters about a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) that would include a higher league minimum salary and more consistent health and wellness benefits for players across the league. Despite the lack of games being played on high school soccer fields in the regions, this was a still big week for soccer in our area. The high school regional semi-finals and finals were held this past week and though so many of our area teams participated, only one still remains in the competition. We'll recap those regional matches and see what's ahead for the Blackhawk Christian boys as they advance to the state semi-finals.Also, Fort Wayne FC recently announced they are going with a new look as they head into a new league. The details of their rebrand have not been released but will be this Thursday evening and we'll be there to cover it.
